System for Advanced Scheduling
Horký, Aleš ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Drahošová, Michaela (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the automatic design of examinations and courses scheduling. The design is adapted to the specific requirements of the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. A genetic algorithm and a heuristic algorithm are employed to solve this task. The genetic algorithm is used to specify the sequence of the examinations (or the courses) and then the heuristic algorithm spread them out into a timetable. An implementation (written in Python 3) provides a fast parallel processing calculation which can generate satisfactory schedules in tens of minutes. Performed experiments show approximately 13% better results in all considered criteria in comparison with utilized examination schedules in the past. The development was periodically consulted with persons responsible for the schedule processing at the faculty. The program will be used while designing of examination schedules for the academic year 2015/2016.

Trojanová, Lenka ; Křiváková, Jarmila (referee) ; Němec, Ivan (advisor)
Glass and the glass elements found thein way into almou all area sof human aktivity thanks to technological advances of the last 20 years. The are of construction i sof course no exeption, quite the contrary. These days it is difficult to imagine building without the glass element, whether it is a part of the interior or exterior. Yet the theory on this issue is at a very low level in the Czech Republic. The content of my work is static and dynamic analysis of structures of glass, when it is applied in practice, it will save money.

Brought high tension to the lifter (asymmetric condenser) causes ionizing between two of electrodes. This effect bring about levitation.

Revitalisation of the Hotel Facility by the Brno Artificial Lake
Švec, Martin ; Zemánek, Václav (referee) ; Zemánková, Helena (advisor)
This is the proposal of the new utilization of the former recreational centre, which is situated in the beautiful surrounding of the Brno lake. It has been abandoned for many years and is suffering from decay. It has been built in the 1970's for the demand of the Socialistic youth union (remark: the youth organisation of the communist's party). There were held international political conventions and educational sojourns for the students of high schools and universities. The new utilization will be analogous. Only the communist's ideals will be replaced with the ideals of today's democratical society – especially friendly relations between mankind and environment. There will be created the environmental educational centre with the meeting spaces, conference hall and accomodation. The universal concept enables the usage of the facility also for the international students' workshops, training courses, teambuilding events etc. The ecological educational centre primarily makes the good example and is the live educational requisite. Thanks to the concept of the original facility is very convenient the refurbishment to the standard of the energetically passive building, which consists from the natural materials and utilizes renewable energy resources. Because of the very poor technical condition and devastation of the building will be re-used only basement and steel framework. This solution is more economical than the demolition and following new construction. The construction core of the building is almost for free. However, only if we make minimal changes in the framework and we preserve the original building's shape. On the steel framework will be created the new lightweight housing, which will be made from wood, straw pannels and filled with the cannabis thermal insulation. Almost all the roofs will be covered with the photovoltaic foils and the heat source will be air heat pump. The area is very pleasant place to stay. It's full of sunshine all day long and offers very beautiful view of the lake. The main building and bungalows profit of the attractive views. All the former recreational area has was designed to make the people meeting together and to provide the freedom of move and wide variety of activities. However, the rooms and bungalows provide the highest privacy. The inside and outside of the buildings are shading into each other. All the recreational ground – in exterior and interior – is full of liveliness, in the opposite of the rooms, which are the private islands. This aspect, which is present in the former concept from the 1970's, is to be preserved. The former hotel building is distinguished by the quality architectural concept, above-average in the age of origin. It is thanks to the dynamically balanced composition – inspirative today too, and visually interesting interior design of the meeting spaces. This proposal attempts to continue in this qualities. The ground is enriched with the relaxational spaces and the outside gym path. In the opposite of the original state the area is open to the public and is utilized as a park for leisure activities.

Problems of integrated transport system and its use
DŘEVOVÁ, Martina
The aim of this dissertation is to evaluate and compare the chosen integrated transport systems in the Czech Republic and based on findings submit a proposal to improvement. For this purpose are chosen the largest and the smarter transport sysstems in the Czech Republic, which are: - Integrated transport system of the Hradec Kralove region (IREDO) - Prague integrated transport system (PID) - Integrated transport system of the South Moravia (IDS JMK) Within the analysis is used the evaluation of the qulitative indicators, for example the number of the carriers, the number of tthe stations etc. This shows that these indicators haven?t got sufficient predictive value for the analysis and final evaluation, because some differences among the transport system. Therefore are the ratios included the analysis, which arw designed on the basis of the quantitative criterions recalculated for factors causing the significant differences of the transport systems. From the analysiss came out best the Integrated transport system in Prague (PID), because of the high freguency of the transport links, large fleet, reliable continuity of the transport links, and the positive evaluation of the range of distribution network, the number of vending machines, types of tickets and existence of the car lots P+R. The worst rated is Integrated transport system of Hradec Kralove region (IREDO), which was recomended to concenterate for the information sources and to attractive the system by these sources. Generally speaking the successful integrated transport systems are these which comply with conditions of the uniformity, intelligibility and clarity. Another important factor is the high frequency of the transport links, the continuity, availability of the bus stops and of course the quality passenger information.

Right-wing Extremism and Civil Society
Varga, Roman ; Muhič Dizdarevič, Selma (advisor) ; Moree, Dana (referee)
Right-wing extremism and its manifestations have undergone quite big changes in recent years. Extremists are trying to reach the supporters and voters and get to higher politics by changing their image and behaviour. Due to the attention of politicians, the public and the media, we can talk, in my opinion, about a "boom of extremism". In the spring of 2009, there was not a single day without extremism mentioned on television or printed media, and even though this "hysteria" calmed down during next months, extremism is still a hot topic. Social climate has changed of course, and public opinion is now, after all, less tolerant to open expressions of racism, xenophobia and Nazism or Fascism. This work will aim to clarify or bring different perspectives to the concept of political extremism, on the basis of which groups are described as extremist, who identifies them so, why, what is the relationship between extremist groups and civil society and how civil society and State (or both together) fights extremism. The last part of this work is to survey civil actions arising in response to the growing extremism, their cooperation with other sectors and forms of resistance against the right-wing extremism.

Vlasák, Václav ; Sato, Alexej (advisor) ; Černohlávková, Eva (referee) ; Králová, Lenka (referee)
The main goal of the thesis is to assess factoring as a tool for small and medium size enterprises financing. Factoring offers receivables management, securing of debtors risk and support of national and international trade. The target is to sum up theoretical approaches in Czech as well as international literature and connect them with practice knowledge and experience that the author have learned during expert experience. Factoring was successfully offered in course of bad economic times during worldwide recession mainly to due easy availability in the markets. Financing via factoring expresses lower risk for financing party, due to transaction risk spread being on the more debtors. In contrast, there is higher demand on administration of every single invoice of company to its debtors. This logically brings higher cost of manpower on the financing party site that has to deal with high proportion of invoices. The thesis is divided into five parts. First parts is taking care about state and private trade supporting tools including Czech Export Bank and its role in creating space for national exporters. Second part deals with forms, in which small and medium size enterprise can find the suitable financial tools and products. Receivables and its main features, receivables live cycle and tools for effective use of receivable in asset based financing, that is all proceeded in part with number three. Whereas chapter four analyze current latest experience with factoring, its forms and way of use including legal and accountancy view. Fifth chapter summarizes theoretical background and uses the application of theory in practice and presents examples, how factoring can help. The thesis found out, that factoring is a suitable financing tool in times of economic crisis and general downturn. The number of factoring transaction grew, as well as the total turnover, but average transaction price went down due to lower cost of traded goods, that was financed via factoring. Thesis also proved that factoring financing is easy to get in the market, as there is large scale of big and small factoring financing providers. Factoring did not improve all significant financial ratios, but increased turnover of assets, mainly receivables, decreased the ratio of indebtedness. Thesis introduced the factoring financing, its use, forms and pros as well as cons. Factoring provided to be sufficient substitute for conventional credit, but bears differences, that have to be taken into account, when deciding on suitable form of receivable financing.

About the development of the Czechoslovakian sugar industry in the European context of the interwar period
Drábek, Jakub ; Jakubec, Ivan (advisor) ; Chalupecký, Petr (referee)
The object of this work is to analyze the sugar industry in the interwar period in European, and in addition, global context. The work focuses on international conventions, their national applications and the reaction of other countries in the sugar industry. It is divided into two thematic units. The first one deals with the characterization of the foreign trade of Czechoslovakia, the second addresses the particular issue of the sugar industry. The work puts great emphasis on the perception of the sugar industry in its broadest context possible. For this reason it analyzes the issue of the sugar industry also in periods of time, which are seemingly unrelated to the work, but are necessary for understanding the problematic. Further, it focuses on the interdependence of individual structures of the sugar industry institutions and their reaction to the development in the evaluated time period. The overall analysis style aims at gradually more specific problems. Conclusions of the work are supported by a great number of opinions, both those of the author and specialists of that time, but also quantitative data. The main goal of this work is to verify the hypothesis that the crises were caused by a shift away from the free market. Throughout the course of the analysis the assumption is verified in case of almost all considered crises. It also shows that no administrative measures can be effective due to the market. The connection between the government and the sugar industry was evident, and thanks to this interdependence the sugar industry enforced many laws.
