The Use of Polar F - series Heart Rate Monitors and Their Testing Features in Fitness Segment Training

Název: Využití sporttesterů a jejich testovacích funkcí při kondiční přípravě běžné populace v oblasti "pohybu pro zdraví" a "fitness Use of POLAR F - series heart rate monitors and their own features in fitness segment training Cíle práce: Zdůraznit nutnost používání sporttesterů rekreačními sportovci a seznámit s unikátními funkcemi měřičů tepové frekvence Fitness (F) řady firmy POLAR, které napomáhají uživateli kontrolovaně zatěžovat organismus. Metoda: Po studiu odborné literatury jsem shrnul problematiku změn fyziologických funkcí orgamsmu při pohybových zátěžích různé intenzity zatížení, dále pak možnosti technologického vybavení, sloužící ke sledování, testování a vyhodnocování úrovně kondice- sporttestery modelové řady "F" finské firmy Polar. Řadu poznatků jsem čerpal a citoval z velmi dobře zpracovaných webových zdrojů. Pomocí sporttesterů jsem ve vybraných fitcentrech měřil intenzitu zatížení u co největšího počtu rekreačních sportovců a porovnal výsledky s výrobcem uváděnými doporučeními. Dotazníkovou metodou jsem zjišťoval, jaké jsou zkušenosti rekreačních sportovců se cvičením řízenou intenzitou - s používáním sporttesterů. Research of Psychotherapy Impact before Planned Surgery of Complete Coxa Endoprosthesis on Post-operation Condition.

Název: Výzkum vlivu psychoterapie před plánovanou operací totální endoprotézy kyčelního kloubu na pooperační průběh Research on influence ofpsychotherapy before complete hip joint endoprosthesis surgerv on postoperative course Cile práce: Záměrem diplomové práce je zmapování znalostí u lidí, kteří přicházejí do nemocnice na plánovanou operaci- umělou náhradu kyčelního kloubu. Cílem je zjistit, na základě studia literatury a provedeného průzkumu, nejvhodnější způsob a dobu informování o rehabilitaci u těchto pacientů. Metoda: Výzkum byl proveden na ortopedickém oddělení pardubické nemocnice v době od září 2005 - do listopadu 2005 u 60 klientů indikovaných k plánovanému operačnímu řešení- umělé náhradě kyčelního kloubu. K zmapování byly použity dvě ankety (nestandardní dotazníky). První měl za cíl u dotazovaných zjistit znalosti svého onemocnění, pooperačního průběhu, zda si jsou vědomi určitých omezení a v neposlední řadě, jak velkou mají obavu z pooperačního období. Hodnotil se vliv věku, pohlaví, vzdělání, předešlého kloubm'ho onemocnění či operačního řešení... Druhý měl za cíl u dotazovaných zmapovat ve všech třech vytvořených skupinách (poučeni před operací fyzioterapeutem, poučeni před operací pouze instruktážním letákem a poučeni fyzioterapeutem až po operaci) subjektivní hodnocení typu...

Comparison of Product Information Management software tools

This diploma thesis deals with the Product Information Management (PIM) and compares PIM software tools. Its goal is to introduce the area of the PIM systems in Czech language. Next subgoal is to define system of criteria. It is also necessary to achieve the last goal -- to analyze and compare PIM software. The method I used is the exploration of information sources; obtaining information through email communication and use of empirical knowledge to define system of criteria. The contribution of this work is the same as its goals. The work is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part deals with PIM definitions, context, functionality, architectures and PIM market developing. The second practical part involves selecting of particular PIM software tools, defining system of criteria and comparison of PIM software tools.

Bullying in the Lower Grades of Primary Schools

This thesis deals with bullying in elementary schools. The theoretical part describes forms and causes of bullying within a group of pupils. It presents features of aggressors and victims of bullying and also some of the most common attitudes made by teachers, schools and parents and their opinions of this problem. Further, the thesis states specific ways of how bullying could be diagnosed, investigated and treated. It also suggests sanctions and educational precautions for the bullies. The practical part depicts a research that was aimed to monitor the extent of bullying in chosen classes of elementary level and to examine to what degree children are informed about this problem. Finally, the last chapter presents defined suggestions and recommendations for primal bullying prevention in the classroom based on the research results and theoretical knowledge as formerly discussed.

Polish Daily Newspapers' Portrayals of the Events Related to the Velvet Revolution

(in English) The aim of this diploma thesis is the discourse analysis of polish daily newspapers' portrayals of the so-called Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia in the last days of 1989. I have focused the analysis on every category of newspapers, which were officially published in Poland at that time. The selected questions are analyzed according to methods, which are mentioned in the theoretical part of this thesis, and everything is set into a historical context. Theoretic part is composed of the history of that period, the characterization of the polish media market in the 80s and the theory of propaganda, newspeak and discourse. In the practical part of this thesis there is the analysis which was made by the quantitative and qualitative method. The chief contribution is the determination of the exact quantity of the articles in monitored daily newspapers, the analysis of selected topics and the answers on the selected questions related to the role of propaganda, the differences (state vs. independent media; polish vs. american-polish newspapers; regional newspapers from northern Poland vs. southern Poland) among the articles in selected newspapers and the theme-orientation articles in the newspapers intended for soldiers, Catholics or teenagers. Tax literacy among small businessmen of different nationalities

This work is focused on tax literacy among small businessmen of czech and vietnamese origin. The main aim is to evaluate tax knowledge of small businessmen and find out on which aspects knowledge depends. Knowledge was rated on the basis of questionnaire, which was later evaluated. To solve this tax literacy issue, there was uttered a hypothesis, which was tested by test of independence. Conclusion of this test is, that businessmen knowledge depends on their nationality. Contribution of this work is determination of dependence between language skills and tax literacy.

Dluhová teorie a politika centrální vlády

Tato práce se soustředí na problematiku dluhové teorie a politiky centrální vlády. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá různými přístupy ekonomických škol ke kreaci dluhu a jeho složení. Součástí je i osvětlení pojmů vztahujících se k dluhové problematice. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na definici metodických přístupů, jež jsou v České republice používány. Pozornost je dbána především na vztah přístupu k dluhu z hlediska ESA 95 a EDP. Třetí kapitola se již soustředí na samotné časové řady vládního dluhu i vládního deficitu v letech 1995 - 2006. Zmíněn je i vliv podmíněných závazků státu a transformačních institucí na vládní dluh i na vývoj v ČR vůbec. Kapitola je uzavřena krátkým srovnáním vládních dluhů i deficitů v rámci EU.

The amendment to Act no. 110/1997 on food, new rules on food labeling and compliance with these rules

This thesis deals with the issue of food labelling, which is a topic that touches each of us. This topic is very broad and even when it is no longer effective amendment to the act on food no. 139/2014, it is very difficult for consumers in all the laws of the Czech Republic and EU regulations to navigate. The content of this theses does not and cannot be the task of this issue is completely clarified, but it aims to orientate in the basic law on foodstuffs no. 110/1997 Coll. amended by act no. 139/2014 and some other decrees and relevant regulations of the EC that directly affect food labelling. The practical part examines consumers' knowledge about food labeling, their interest in the information provided on labels and on compliance labeling frozen fish.

The Importance and Impact of the Antimonopoly Office in the Czech Republic

The Diploma Thesis is focused on the issue of protection of economic competition. It deals with its politics, structure, distorting competition and last but not least its protection. The objective of the work is to analyze and describe the importance of the Office for the Protection of Competition, its influence and work in relation to the most important cases of the distorting competition in the Czech Republic, mainly in case of cartel agreements, abuse of dominant position, specifically in the period 2010-2015. Fundamental part of the work was based on the research that was crucial for the work. The research collected data in the Czech as well as English language in order to gain theoretical basis. It was necessary to gain and study all available professional information concerning to the topic. Analytical part of the work was based primarily on the description and comparison method. Sources for the analytical part were gained from the regularly published reports of the Office for the Protection of Competition. These data are publicly available information. Conclusion of the work deals with assessment of work of the Office for the Protection of Competition and its influence. Therefore there was confirmed one of the main thesis that had initiated the research. The author of the diploma thesis came to the conclusion that imposing sanctions is not only the most effective tool of the economic protection but also serves as a significant preventive measure.
