Raising test process maturity in IT company

This thesis deals with the issue of process optimalization in the field of test discipline which is a fundamental part of software development. An approach providing improvement of test processes is applied in the environment of a test department in a selected company. Concept of raising process capability and maturity presented in CMMI model is used for this purpose. The first goal of the thesis is a provision of theoretical background devoted to software testing, process approach and capability and maturity models, that will accommodate enough with the clarity of the document text, as well as to provide insight into the whole subject. Theoretical interpretation will be compiled using on-line resources available for free, author's bachelor thesis and facts obtained through the studies and from educational materials. Attention will be focused on the definition of important facts and mutual relationship between the areas of interest. Description of initial state, changes carried out and current state of organizational structure, processes and documentation in the test department of the company was selected as a following goal. Process models consisting of diagrams, description tables and textual characteristics of identified processes will be created. Structure of documentation and of its parts will be accentuated through the description of documentation state and changes, furthermore a chronological sequence of taking the documents into practice and explanation of its importance in testing will be present. In order to offer a comprehensive view, a description of organizational structure and department member's competence will be available. As the last goal, arrangement proposal to obtain a higher process maturity and further improvement of documentation and organizational structure was chosen. Process areas and recommendation related to the processes of test discipline will be selected from the CMMI model. The selected content will be interpreted as to form a partial steps for direct use in test department. Appropriate sequence of the steps will also be set to serve well the purposes of the department. Beyond the scope of arrangement proposal, separate recommendations in areas of organizational structure, processes and documentation will be present. The thesis summarizes key facts about and arrangements made in organizational structure, processes and documentation of the test department in the selected company in the period of last two years. The contribution lies further in the creation of so far absent process models of the test department which capture the form of test processes in two points in time, and especially in the complete arrangement proposal aiming to raise process maturity and optimize organizational structure and documentation.

Internet specifications "RFC" and a current state of its global digital collection

Tématem práce jsou internetové specifikace RFC a posouzení aktuálního stavu jejich světového digitálního fondu. V jednotlivých kapitolách jsou popisovány a analyzovány důležité aspekty tvorby, zveřejňování a zpřístupňování tohoto specifického typu dokumentu, doprovázejícího rozvoj sítě Internet a odrážejícího jeho historii. Světový digitální fond je popsán jak prostřednictvím shrnutí repozitářů poskytujících plné texty specifikací RFC a další navazující služby, tak i analýzou bibliografických informací popisujících vlastní dokumenty RFC. Významná část práce je věnována podrobnému rozboru významu, struktury a obsahu tohoto typu dokumentu. Práce se také zabývá institucemi, které realizují standardizační proces nebo se na tomto procesu podílí (ISOC, IETF, IAB, IANA, IESG aj.). Součástí práce je popis některých rozdílů standardizační činnosti internetových institucí a tradičních normalizačních institucí (ISO, ITU-T aj.). V závěru práce jsou prezentovány některé filozofické názory, zamýšlející se nad významem specifikací pro Internet a internetovou komunitu.

Settlement area from the Late Bronze Age in Hluboka nad Vltavou

This thesis summarizes results of comprehensive processing two implemented rescue excavations settlement area from the Late Bronze Age in the cadastre town Hluboká nad Vltavou (Křesín). Performed analysis selected ceramic assemblage and other artefacts, together with the evaluation all settlement objects, provided the results for dating site and interpretation of its purpose. Location was also compared with other sites in south Bohemia and set in a settlement framework of microregion Českobudějovicko.

Statistical analysis of unemployment in selected region

This thesis deals with the analysis of unemployment in the region Usti. Review of literature contains theoretical issues relating to the labor market and unemployment. Practical part of work is focused on the analysis and interpretation of the evolution of unemployment by using the indicator of unemployed people and the number of unemployed in the years 2005 - 2015 and prediction of future development of these indicators. Statistical methods are used for the analysis and prediction. Practical part of work also describe selected structural characteristics of the unemployed to find an problematic group of registered job seekers. In conclusion, summarizing the results and show proposals for dealing with unemployment in the Usti region.

Integration of individuals into social groups in different life situations in the selected region

This thesis deals with the issue of integration of individuals into a social group in different life situations in the Pilsen region. Primarily it focuses to forms of assistance which are provided by the region to the children leaving the Halfway house or the children home established by the Pilsen region. The thesis analyzes public opinions on the issue of integration of the children from the children home into society and finds out their own positions of adolescents, executives and employees of social facilities. It also analyzes the issue within the development of the Pilsen region. The objective is to propose ways to integrate individuals without a family into the social groups in different life situations in the Pilsen region. The theoretical part deals with the period of socialization of a child and the absence of a family as the main factor of socialization. It describes a system of constitutional education in the Czech Republic, the lives of children in the Halfway house and programs on the issues of leaving the children home. The field research is performed with a purpose of achieving objectives, sub-objectives work and then interpret their results. The results obtained and subsequent recommendation are summarized for the establishing institution children home (thus Pilsen Region) in the conclusion of this work. To achieve the main objective is proposed the way to integrate individuals into the social groups in the form of new work position social guide.

Monetary Policy of the Czech Republic

The thesis is focused on the tools of monetary policy which the central bank uses when she wants to achieve the inflation target. The outcome of this thesis is proposal optimize the tools of monetary policy. The Proposal is based on the analysis of the results of simultaneous econometric model. In this thesis is testing time series by November 2013. At this time the Czech National Bank concluded currency commitment. By this time the central bank is overseeing that the exchange rate is above 27 CZK / EUR. Another objective is evaluating the influence of interventions on the economic development of the country. In this thesis are used secondary data from external sources. In the theoretical part is described of monetary policy, monetary policy instruments and the main objectives of monetary policy. In the practical part is constructed an econometric model. Endogenous variables in the model are logarithms yields exchange rate CZK / EUR and inflation of monetary policy.

The central bank and its function in the economy

The following thesis describes the importance of the central bank in the states economy and its position in the structure of the banking and financial system. It deals with its monetary policy and functions such as the role of the state bank, issuance activity or the regulation and supervision of commercial banks. The theoretical part is concluded by describing the Maastricht convergence criteria, which is built on in a questionnaire survey of the practical part.
The practical part is divided into two sections. The first is focused on the exchange rate as a monetary tool of the Czech National Bank. It attempts to compare how successfully CNB has achieved its predictions from 2014 (the year when the foreign exchange interventions were initiated). The second section contains an interpretation of the results from the survey, with the aim of identifying the attitudes of Czech citizens towards adopting the euro currency. Subsequently, testing of a statistical hypothesis for contingency between selected issues was performed and connections within the columnar frequency of the contingency tables were observed and picked out.

Crime prevention in the Czech Republic

PREVENTION OF CRIME IN CZECH REPUBLIC Abstract The subject of my diploma work is the issue of the prevention of crime in the Czech Republic. Having studied deeply the available materials, I decided to focus my diploma work more closely on drug prevention. Above all, I have chosen this subject considering that I am convinced the general affirmation "any prevention is better than the subsequent repression " is valid. It is better to exert efforts, time, pains, and financial resources into the prevention of crime and other social pathologic phenomena than to invest much more of them later in connection with repression and harm reduction. I am interested in the drug prevention and problems linked with it. I think the drug crime is very dangerous for the society in particular by two reasons. Firstly, the claimer of criminal offence is missed here very often. This imposes high requirements on police authorities who have to search out and reveal these criminal offences actively. The second reason consists in the fact that the long term drug use destroys users themselves psychically and mainly also physically and it affects their families as well. The effects confrontation of the aerobic and yoga activities upon the cardiovascular system of the college students with the emphasison the preventive health programs and life style optimalization

The aim of this thesis is to find and compare the physical fitness level of the college students in relation to the aerobic and yoga activities. I also aimed to explore the effects of these activities on the cardiovascular system of women, and to determine the physical load improvement which could influence the health condition and lifestyle in a positive way. 237 students of the University of South Bohemia in ČeskéBudějovice participated in the research. They were 20 up to 23 years old and they were divided into two groups according to their hobbies. They underwent the two-term long physical programs - the aerobic one and the yoga one. To compare the results of these programs I used the anthropometric and motometric methods and a questionnaire as well - BMI, Ruffier´s test, T-test, Spearman´s correlation coefficient and the circadian rhythm, lifestyle, emotional state and self-image based questionnaire. The statistic analysis of gained data shows a considerable change as for the Ruffier index of physical fitness, and this is just a result of the intervention physical program use within both of the experimental groups as for the level of importance p<0,001. These results confirm the hypothesis H1 and H3 and a contributive effect on the physical fitness of the college students either. BMI of the experimental aerobic group also shows an important change as for the level of importance p<0,01. This result confirms the hypothesis H2 and the fact that the aerobic program has a contributive effect on the BMI as for the ES. As for the experimental yoga group, there were not seen any changes and therefore the hypothesis H4 was not confirmed either.The circadian rhythm questionnaire analysis shows that due to the physical stress, these students often face depressions. The gained data show a low level of cardiovascular indicators as for the entrance measurement, and a significant improvement during a regular intentional use of proper physical exercises - both aerobic and yoga ones. This is very important for the preventive health programs and the active lifestyle of women during their college studies.

Název práce Vliv vertebrogenního algického syndromu na kvalitu života nemocných. Název práce v angličtině Chronic vertebral painful syndrom its influences on life quality ofthe sick people. Cíl práce: Postihnout medicínské i psychosociální aspekty vertebrogenních poruch a zkoumatjejich vliv na zdraví a kvalitu života takto nemocných. Metody: Výzkumným záměrem mé práce bude zhodnotit stupeň kvality života nemocných s chronickým vertebrogenním algickým syndromem. Provedu sociologický výzkum. Pro posouzení a hodnocení kvality života cílových osob zvolím jako základní výzkumnou techniku metodu HRQOL(Health Related Quality of Life)- Kvalita života podmíněná zdravím. Nástrojem ke zjišťování HRQOL bude standardizovaná verze dotazníku SF- 36. Získané výsledky porovnám se standardy oxfordské pracovní skupiny (Oxford Healthy Life Study), tedy se skupinou zdravých jedinců. Stejný postup aplikuji pro podskupinu mužů a žen a následně i pro komparaci obou podskupin vzájemně. Pro postihnutí aspektů a zhodnocení příčin vedoucích k invaliditě zvolím sekundární analýzu dat. Studiem zdravotnické dokumentace ·pacientů s chronickým vertebrogenním algickým syndromem získám informace o pracovní neschopnosti, zaměstnání, vzdělání, částečné a úplné invaliditě a o nezaměstnanosti.
