Maria Justina of Schwarzenberg. The Image of (ill) Duchess in the Middle of the 17th century

The aim of the present Bachelor´s thesis is to reconstruct the life story of Maria Justina of Schwarzenberg, born of Starhemberg in the Middle of the 17th century. In the first part, this thesis focuses on the everyday life behind the walls of the residences that belonged to the House of Schwarzenberg. The thesis then deals with the serious mental illness the Duchess had suffered from, with her death and with the funeral ceremony that took place afterwards. In conclusion, the thesis investigates the way how the servants reacted on the behaviour of the Duchess towards them, it tries to identify the exact cause of the mental illness and to describe some sort of treatments the Duchess had to undergo. The present Bachelor´s thesis is based on the correspondence between John Adolf I., Prince of Schwarzenberg, the husband of Maria Justina of Schwarzenberg, and regional council presidents of family holdings. In addition, further background information has been gathered from the diaries and Tagzettel of Cardinal Ernst Adalbert of Harrach.

The analysis of the customer of a selected company and his typology

The purpose of this text is to create a concrete typology of consumers - ostomy patients of the mentioned company Stomacare, a.s. The theoretic part is focused on the customer relationship management. The practice part is divided into two parts. The first one is concerned with quantitative data processing. The second one results from the personal experience in communication with customers - end users of the appliances, mostly carrying the qualitative information and focused on the typology of the customer from the point of view of his lifestyle, life attitudes and behaviour in concrete situations. The result of this text should be the compact typology of customer of the company Stomacare, a.s. in term of exact data as well as psychology of customer.

Workplace violence in healthcare facilities

This thesis of theoretical-experimental character deals with violence in healthcare facilities, first of all at the anaesthesiology and resuscitation departments and intensive care departments. A theoretical part of the thesis describes types of violence, factors leasing to the violent behaviour and this consequences. Further there are mentioned the possibilities of prevention violence in working place. A research part contains an analysis of a questionnaire survey. It was aimed especially at real state in selected departments, types of aggressors and frequency of occurrence attacks.

(Geo)demographic factors of consumers' behaviour Abstract This master's thesis deals with the issue of consumers' behaviour on theoretical level with empirical measuring of customers' satisfaction related to the selected mobile operator. The object of survey is the consumer and the subject matter comprises his behaviour in consumption, resp. his behaviour after purchase. The aim of the analysis is to conduct a test of relations between variables, to search for statistically significant differences between average values assigned to the overall satisfaction among particular groups of consumers divided using (geo) demographic and social variables, to describe segments created with reference to the level of satisfaction and to define such factors, which contribute towards the resultant value of satisfaction declared by significant means. The data analysis is based on selection survey conducted in the year 2008, using the method of individual, and standardised, assisted questioning. The processing of data is implemented, one- or multi-dimensional statistics - testing of average values, dispersion analysis, correlation, regression and factor analyses. Moral behaviour of half-way house clients

Diplomová práce se věnuje morálnímu chování klientů domu na půl cesty. Vychází ze zkoumání konkrétního zařízení, jeho klientů a pracovníků domu na půl cesty občanského sdružení DOM. Cílem práce je umožnit porozumění zdrojům morálního a nemorálního chování klientů domu na půl cesty, sledovat konkrétní způsoby chování v rámci 'morálky každodenního života' a na základě těchto znalostí stanovit efektivní způsoby intervence, jež by mohli pracovníci v rámci svého působení na klienty domu na půl cesty použít. Je zřejmé, že jde o nesnadný úkol. Klienti domu na půl cesty představují na jedné straně velmi úzkou skupinu, na straně druhé jejich životní historie bývá často velmi pestrá a navzájem různorodá - od celoživotní ústavní výchovy, přes krátkodobější pobyty v dětských domovech či výchovných ústavech, psychiatrické historie sebepoškozování, týrání a zneužívání, až po pobyty na ulici, nebo drogovou či delikventní historii. Specifické životní zkušenosti negativně ovlivňují vývoj těchto jedinců a podporují tvorbu takových vnitřních struktur (od úrovně uspokojování potřeb, sebepojetí, hodnot až například po seberegulaci), které nepřispívají k realizaci morálního chování. Current practice and perspectives of the surrogate institutional care for the children and adolescents with behavioural disorders in the Czech Republic

The theses provide a unique view on the phenomenon of institutional care for children and adolescents with behavioural disorders in the Czech Republic. The aim of the theses was to reflect changes in the procedure of surrogate institutional care during last years and to suggest a perspective for the future development of these changes, including potential solutions to mediate emergent problems. The theoretical part of the theses describes historical roots, influences and traditions that stimulated recent development of the surrogate institutional care for children and adolescents with behavioural disorders. Furthermore, there is detailed analysis of legislation and changes that have been incorporated after 2002 as well as of the status of the surrogate institutional care in the system of complex care for problematic children. There is also evaluation of potential risks of institutional care, forms of educative care and social profiles of children that are placed in surrogate-care institutions. The research chapter of the theses includes qualitative analysis of daily regime in surrogate-care institutions, analyses internal social relationships and latent value algorithms of social workers.

The Nutritional Behaviour of Adolescents and Eating Disorders

Tématem této diplomové práce je nutriční chování adolescentů a poruchy příjmu potravy. Teoretická část se zabývá poruchami příjmu potravy. Popisuje vývoj, příčiny, diagnostická kriteria, průběh i způsoby léčby mentální anorexie a mentální bulimie. Druhá část vychází z praxe a je orientována žákům vyšších ročníků základních škol s cílem zjistit jejich nutriční návyky, postoje jídlu a spokojenost s vlastním tělem. Ve třetí části je navržen program pro základní školy této problematice, v němž jsou uvedeny ukázky vyučovacích hodin a didaktických her zaměřené na posilování sebevědomí a prevenci poruch příjmu potravy. Součástí diplomové práce jsou přílohy.

The Immovable Property Tax in Slovakia -- Analysis of the Chosen Town

The thesis deals with an analysis of immovable property tax in the town Levoča. It proceeds from comparison of the most considerable differences in property taxation before reform which came in force in 2005 and after its implementation.The attention is focused on changes as a result of this reform with emphasis on behaviour of tax administrator (community). This point is resulting in goal of thesis, that is appreciation of these influences through analyses. The main part of thesis consists of those analyses, the analysis of general rules and analysis of tax incomes.

Microeconomic modelling of the behaviour on the financial markets - trading with derivatives

Financial markets represent a large comlex with a lot of factors. What is for the agents, who are trading on the financial markets important, is to set a method of predicting the future spot price of the assets and the risk, resulting from their positions. Financial derivatives are instruments, those trading depends on the future spot prices predictions and are used for speculative purposes or for hedging. Black-Scholes equation implies the option price, but concludes some not real assumptions.The way, how to determine the option price and to avoid the assumptions in Black-Scholes equation, is to start from the option writer' variation of wealth.
