The master's thesis introduces cash register system currently used by Brno zoo and Starezsport Brno. The aim of the thesis was to study and describe above-mentioned systems and hardware they are interacting with, to analyze, design and create new custom cashier system. The first chapter includes the analysis of cashier systems, and overview of selected technologies for developement. Second chapter introduces developement designs and practices. The third chapter contains short system documentation and the last, fourth chapter is devoted to testing basic cashier system functionality.
SAP Modul for Encoding Invoices to QR Codes
Švancar, Boris ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with encoding payment data invoices into QR codes in accordance with the by square standard. The SAP system along with a process of encoding data into QR codes and by square PAY standard is introduced in my thesis. In compliance with the standard function module is designed for the SAP system which is in the ABAB language, using Smartforms form allowing the QR codes to generate the invoice. The module is then subjected to testing. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the master's thesis and a description of potential further development is assessed as a final step.
Upgrade of fakturyonline.eu Service
Jahoda, Vojtěch ; Skála, František (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
Goal of this thesis is modernization and extension of established web portal serving to create and manage invoices. The design and implementation emphasis on feedback from users so changes are really a benefit and not a burden. Uses wide range of different technologies and implementation is done using incremental model. Analyzes the impact of changes to number of visitors and receives feedback from users.
Secure data transmition using bar codes
Kratochvíl, Martin ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create a system for visual data transmition using bar codes. It focuses mainly on the protection of the system against abuse. A mechanism was designed for the data transmition itself and the various security concepts. The most appropriate bar code for data transmition was selected on the basis of the analysis.
Creation of localization system in buildings of the Faculty of Civil Engineering BUT
Hoffmannová, Lada ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Berková, Alena (advisor)
Thesis is about proposal and partly realization of localization system in buildings of Faculty of civil engineering of Brno university of technology. The aim is making of QR code system, which should be able to locate person in a map. Other part of thesis is proposal of QR codes with link to information website, which can help with first orientation at faculty. In builings of faculty will be placed printed QR codes, where anybody with aplication in smartphone can scan them.

Utilization of QR Codes in the Field of Biology and Education
Kršková, Adéla ; Novotný, Petr (advisor) ; Odcházelová, Tereza (referee)
The thesis investigates the possibility of using QR codes in education and in the field activities in the Czech Republic. The second chapter includes an overview of the history of QR codes based on the findings collected from the available sources together with an explanation of technical parameters, introduction of QR code types and possible content which they can carry, and subsequently, there is a practical example of QR code generation and means of its scanning. The third chapter focuses on practical utilization of QR codes, while mentioning the discovered examples of their use in non-educational fields, including the assessment of their meaningfulness, after which the thesis deals with the use of QR codes in education and their educational usefulness with effort to point out the individualization of educational process and means of possible equalization of education for handicapped students. There is an analysis of already tested practical usage of QR codes with comparison of their actual functionality and mere motivating function. In chapter four the QR codes are critically evaluated with regards to their utilization in biology classes. Key words: QR code, education, biology, functionality.
Body Modification in Cyberpunk,
Dudziaková, Marie ; Rychlík, Martin (referee) ; Šisler, Vít (referee)
The rigorous thesis Body Modification in Cyberpunk, Cyberpunk in Body Modification examines the intersection of these two topics from their mutual perspectives and monitors the extent to which they influence and shape each other. In its first part, the author deals with the representation, form and role of body modification in selected works of cyberpunk literature. The issue analysis is carried out by means of combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The author quantitatively evaluates 503 mentions of body modifications on a given sample of 7 major cyberpunk literary works, using 25 variables. The qualitative analysis, structured in 7 thematic areas, amplifies the qualitative findings. From the analysis results, the author draws definition of typical cyberpunk body modification, which she describes as invasive functional modification of the body that was created with the help of modern technologies. Based on this definition, in the second part of this rigorous thesis, the author focuses on the existing body modifications that meet these aspects. She creates 7 categories of functional cyberpunk body modifications, which she illustrates by examples. From this point of view she closer monitors the situation in the Czech Republic and also mentions the associated QRbodies project that was...
QR Code and decoding
Zajíčková, Adéla ; Drápal, Aleš (advisor) ; Šťovíček, Jan (referee)
The aim of this paper is to descript QR codes. First of all we focus on a description of a structure and then we deal with decoding, more specifically with the part which uses the theory of error-correcting codes. From the viewpoint of this theory QR codes can be perceived as an instance of Reed-Solomon codes. For that reason the paper deals with elementary properities of RS codes and with one of the technique of decoding, concretely Euclidean decoding algorithm. An example shows the knowledge and futhermore the paper includes detailed description of mathematical principle of used algorithm.
QR code detection under ROS implemented on the GPU
