Humility as the Premise of the Perfect Following of Christ

This work on a field of Theological Ethics concerns the subject of humility, an important Christian virtue, and researches its significance for Christian practice and spiritual life in general. According to Biblical studies humility as a willing self-humiliation belongs to the essential characteristic of God's incarnation of Christ to the world and of the whole of Jesus' life, his death on the cross included. From this point of view humility as self-transcendence proves to be the premise of the ideal of following Christ. The author therefore perceives the issue of humility as a challenge for daily Christian practice. The work also points out the universal value of humility and it offers the authors' own view on humility as one of the most important aspects of interfaith and intercultural dialogue - and of dialogue per se. The theme embodies a discourse on psychology, which allows an interdisciplinary discussion. Besides the Bible the main sources of this presented thesis are writings of Christian mystics, especially Thomas A Kempis, and works of theologians - Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Jan Heller. The aspects of labour class housing on the example of Ostrava and Zlin

The aim of this paper is to describe the housing situation of working c1ass during the transition from the society based on traditional values to the modem society of the twentieth century. Through the comparison of the housing facilities built to accomodate working c1ass people from Ostrava and Zlín, we can discover some important similarities and differences connected with approaches of the municipalities of these two settlements. Both of them chose the option to house working c1ass people on a mas s scale, but the results of their decisions ended up in two different urban formations. The examples of Ostrava and Zlín are analyzed from the interdisciplinary point of view (history, architecture, sociology and cultural studies) which provides an useful analytical tool to describe some interesting parallels and differences which emerged during their rapid development. The circumstances of their industrial boom substantially intluenced the structure and proportions of these places. The prevailing industrial character of the production was the most itluential factor which formed two unique uban areas. Marketing communication of the travel agency KOVOTOUR PLUS

This thesis provides a complex look on the issue of marketing and marketing communication in the tourism sector. The main objectives of the thesis are to apply the findings from the theoretical part to analyse the marketing communication of the travel agency Kovotour Plus and to evaluate its efficiency on the basis of my own questionnaire investigation. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to analysis of the basic theoretical points of marketing and marketing communication in the tourism sector and the assumptions of its efficiency. Those findings are applied on the travel agency Kovotour Plus in the practical part. In the practical part there is also the evaluation of the questionnaire investigation.

Příprava Firmy na Expanzi na Čínský Trh

This master thesis is written as a guideline for successful business expansion to Chinese market. It describes the regional characteristics, which are important in order to understand the Chinese culture, since without proper understanding of the culture, all of its aspects and concepts such as Guanxi, no foreign firm will be able to succeed in China. Apart of the cultural analysis it also deals with the theory of expansion, how to correctly approach it, what are the possible entry modes and financial sources. I used three case studies, which provide real life experience with this issue from different points of view. The practical part of the thesis is primarily focused on financial industry in China, specifically on investment funds and what should be the necessary steps for any investment fund, which would like to expand to Chinese market.

This bachelor's thesis deals with an evolution of an application, with which the designer of digital systems can insert and connect components of VHDL entity easier. You can find an introduction to the VHDL language here and the ways how to design digital systems with VHDL. The reasons of using synthesizable templates will be described. Next part is a description of a design and an implementation of an editor, which makes it easy to design by an graphic interface.

Deictic verbs andare and venire

Impulsy pro napsání této diplomové práce, jejímž předmětem bude pojednání o deiktických slovesech pohybu andare a venirer byly vpodstatě dva. Prvním z nich bylo zjištění, že je užití těchto sloves podmíněno pragmatickými mechanizmy, které vnášejí do jazykového systému kognitivní mimojazykové skutečnosti. Rozhodla jsem se proto tyto pragmatické principy lépe poznat. Druhým impulsem byla možnost využít italský jazykový korpus Ita/net, obsahující staré italské texty, a také dostupnost jiných elektronických souborů jazykových dat v italském jazyce, kterou nám v dnešní moderní době umožňuje tzv. umělá inteligence. Ta poskytuje široké příležitosti pracovat s jazykovým materiálem nově, cíleně a velmi účelně. Práce s jazykovými korpusy, dnes souhrnně nazývaná korpusová lingvistika, otevírá všem jejím zájemcům zcela nové a dosud nepoznané jazykovědné horizonty. Ráda bych proto touto prací také, alespoň maličko, přispěla k tomuto otevírání nových lingvistických obzorů. Každý, kdo, byť jen okrajově, studoval italský jazyk, se již v prvních kapitolách všech učebních příruček setkal se slovesy pohybu andare a venire. Jejich ekvivalenty nebo slovesa, která se italských slovesům andare a venire významově blíží, existují v mnoha jazycích, a také v češtině. Neměl by proto existovat žádný důvod, který by vnášel do jejich...

Analysis of utilization of the EU Structural Funds for Tourism

V první kapitole jsou popsány základní principy, podle kterých je implementována podpora do členských států Evropské unie, vč. cílů regionální politiky, popisu fondů Evropské unie a popisu projektového cyklu. Diplomová práce poskytuje přehled programů, ze kterých bylo možné čerpat podporu na cestovní ruch v programovacím období 2004 - 2006, a rovněž přehled programů, ze kterých mohou žadatelé čerpat nyní, tzn. v období 2007 - 2013. Další částí je analýza především SROPu, dále JPD 3 a INTERREGu IIIA Česká republika - Polsko. Poslední kapitola představuje příklad úspěšné žádosti o dotaci ze SROPu do oblasti cestovního ruchu.

Implementation of Business Intelligence in ČON s.r.o. company

This dissertation thesis deals with the topic of Business Intelligence and Balanced Scorecard and its use in České odborné nakladatelství, s.r.o., a relatively small company of 29 employees, which publishes magazines about business, gastronomy, textile, foods, hotels etc. The first part of my thesis describes the BI and BSC theoretically and offers a methodical basis for the following chapters. It gives the reader a definition and structure of BI, with access to a Data Warehouse including the fundamentals of building an OLAP database. It furthermore explains what BSC is, which perspectives use and what a strategic map is. The theoretical chapters of my paper will draw conclusions about the use of BI and BSC and the links between them. The practical, hands-on, chapters continue with the actual application of BI and BSC in the afore-mentioned ČON, s.r.o. It describes the goals and ambitions of the company, which are further on divided into individual strategic goals and metrics, fragmented into perspectives of the BSC and portrayed in a strategic map. Upon analyzing the demands of the company a BI framework is created, data sources are identified, Data Warehouse are designed and brought into effect. In the end a multidimensional OLAP cube is created with MS SQL Server 2008. Finally, there is a MS Excel 2007 explanation and interpretation of the measured values (reporting), which is taken from the available sources of ČON, s.r.o. and is compared against the set strategic goals and metrics of the company. The results of this thesis are based on actual demands of the company and are ready to be implemented and used in real-life.

Risk management in IS/ICT projects

Cílem této práce je uspořádat a obohatit teoretickou základnu řízení rizik v projektovém managementu, analyzovat a zhodnotit přístup k této problematice dle metodiky PMBOK a poskytnout základní praktický pohled na řízení rizik ve skutečných projektech z oblasti IS/ICT. Vlastní text je strukturován do sedmi kapitol, z nichž první poskytuje úvod a vymezení celé práce. Ve druhé kapitole je proveden úvod do oblasti řízení rizik v projektech a dále analyzován přístup a základní principy metodiky řízení projektu PMBOK. Ve třetí kapitole je uveden seznam projektových rizik, který byl vytvořen a popsán na základě průzkumu literatury, diskusí s odborníky a praktických zkušeností autora. Ve čtvrté kapitole, která obsahuje řadu nových teoretických pojmů, jsou poté popsány autorem identifikované různé způsoby řízení rizik projektu podle jeho základních charakteristik. Pátá kapitola se zaměřuje na posouzení metodiky PMBOK vzhledem ke všem zjištěným typům rizik a identifikovaným způsobům jejich řízení a pokouší se o její doplnění. V šesté kapitole jsou konečně využity všechny poznatky získané ve všech předchozích kapitolách a je provedena jejich aplikace na oblast IS/ICT, mimo jiné pomocí vzorového příkladu obsahujícího některé autorem navržené analytické nástroje. V sedmé kapitole je provedeno závěrečné zhodnocení.

Tato práce podává čtenáři obraz o investičním instrumentu patřícího do skupiny finančních a komoditních derivátů- akciových opcích. Nejprve čtenáři poskytuje informační základnu finančních a komoditních derivátů, jejich nejdůležitější pojmy a principy. Dále práce vyzdvihuje akciové opce, jejich vlastnosti a praktické využití. Bakalářská práce by měla přiblížit toto téma z různých úhlů pohledu, stejně tak by měla shrnout a zformulovat fundamentální principy akciových opcí, což je doloženo jednak matematickými vzorci, tak i empirickým výzkumem, který popisuje hypotézu put call parity opcí.
