Securing accounts receivable in association with accounting

This bachelor degree thesis is concerned with security for accounts receivable in association with accounting. The introductory part explains the origin, functions and principles of accounts receivable, shows the necessity of their competent managment and evaluation in middle and large companies and describes modes of debt representation in accounting. The fundamental part of this thesis analyses and gives details of several options for securing againts risks associated with accounts receivable ownership. It describes in sum twenty methods and instruments and in the light of their specific characteristic shows their possibilities of securing for a different types of risk.

An introduction to sociology of theatre

Sociologie divadla je sociologickou disciplínou, která se začíná samostatně vyvíjet od poloviny 50. let především ve Francii, kdy Georges Gurvitch a Jean Duvignaud píší první sociologické práce o divadle, zejména z oblasti typologie výzkumu v divadle. V dnešní době se systematicky sociologickým výzkumem divadla a v divadle zabývá několik institucí v celé Evropě. Za všechny uveďme mezinárodní organizaci FIRT/IFTR (Fédération Internationale pour la Recherche Théatral/International Federation for Theatre Research) nebo mezinárodní asociaci SIBMAS (Société Internacionale des Bibliotheques et Musees des Arts du Spectacle, International Association of Librairies and Museums of the Performing Arts). Obě instituce sdružují výzkumníky mnoha oborů, jejichž průsečíkem zkoumání je divadlo se všemi svými aspekty. Divadlo je nazíráno z mnoha úhlů pohledu, teatrologického, psychologického, filozofického, antropologického, ale také sociologického. V rámci obou institucí se konají přednášky a workshopy, ve kterých má sociologie divadla své legitimní místo. The increase in life expectancy of the world population is associated with challenges regarding health issues. For instance, osteoporosis is a medical condition mostly observed in elderly people, in which the quality and quantity of the bone are severely affected. Not only for women but also for men, osteoporosis is recognized as an important public health issue. Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disorder and is a result of loss of skeletal mass. Osteoporosis is characterized by low bone mass, microarchitectural deterioration of bone tissue and an increase in bone fragility and susceptibility to fracture. Osteoporotic fractures are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality. The longterm use of drugs such as antiepileptics and antidepressants could affect the onset of osteoporosis. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of orchidectomy, the effect of newer antiepileptic (levetiracetam, lacosamide, topiramat, lamotrigine) and antidepressive drugs (mirtazapine, venlafaxine and trazodone) on bone metabolism in healthy male Wistar rats. Sociocultural aspects of male and female role in a family

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou sociokulturních rolí žen a mužů v oblasti rodiny a manželství a vlivem různých faktorů na postavení jednotlivých pohlaví v obou těchto institucích i ve společnosti samotné. Důležité je také vymezení samotného pojmu rodina, kterému je věnována hned jedna z prvních kapitol. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních tématických částí. První část je věnována zejména historickému pohledu na problematiku vzájemného soužití obou pohlaví. Stejně tak jako ve většině vědních oborů je důležité pochopit dějinné události, popřípadě si z nich vzít příklad, je prospěšné věnovat se minulosti i za účelem pochopení rolí obou pohlaví v dnešním světě. První část diplomové práce se tedy snaží přiblížit vznik manželství a rodiny v různých historických úsecích od počátků samotného soužití muže a ženy a rozebírá postavení a úlohu žen i mužů v jednotlivých obdobích dějin. Druhá část diplomové práce je věnována především současnosti. Zabývá se problematikou postavení a role ženy a muže v dnešní společnosti s přihlédnutím na různé faktory, které je mohou ovlivnit. Decline of southern aristocracy in the selected novels of William Faulkner

The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the decline of the so-called Southern aristocracy in two selected novels by William Faulkner, namely Absalom, Absalom! and The Sound and the Fury. Their protagonists are members of rich planter family in the first case, or, as in the second case, descendants of such a family. They all inhabit Faulkner's fictitious Yoknapatawpha County and are considered Southern aristocrats by their fellow citizens. Yet they are not living the life of leisure and luxury often ascribed to people of their rank but facing their own decline instead. In both novels, the nature of this decline is both materialistic and spiritual; the latter being the beginning of the former. The decline of Southern aristocracy is primarily seen as a conflict of two sets of values or, in other words, as a struggle between the "Old South" and the "New South." Therefore the main cause of this decline is seen in the enormous dependence on the past, which goes hand in hand with the notion of the myth of the antebellum South. Measuring of relationship between IS/ICT's effectiveness and company?s effectiveness

V první části práce jsou analyzány nástroje pro měření efektivnosti firmy a nástroje pro měření efektivnosti firemního IS/ICT. U obou skupin je hodnocena jejich vhodnost pro měření efektivnosti. Dále jsou analyzovány faktory podmiňující efektivnost IS/ICT ? tj. řízení firemního IS/ICT a řízení a hodnocení IS/ICT investic. V další části jsou popsána specifika bankovního odvětví a současné trendy ovlivňující efektivnost bankovních procesů. V závěru práce jsou navrženy dvě metody měření vazby mezi efektivností IS/ICT a efektivností firmy jako celku. První z nich se opírá o statické hodnocení zralosti IT procesů a plnění firemních cílů. Druhá metoda vychází ze systémové dynamiky a dynamických modelů.

The Bachelor Thesis presents a unified view of outsourcing, focusing on the outsourcing of the payroll department. The work begins by defining the terminology linked to outsourcing and continues by comparing its advantages, disadvantages and associated risks. The thesis then presents justifications for the decision to outsource. It describes the field of payroll accounting, defines its processes and explains the role of a payroll accountant in a company. The practical section of the thesis analyses an outsourcing relationship, focusing on procedures and processes. It elucidates the difference between partial, total outsourcing and internal payroll, as well as other uses of outsourcing a company may use.

Housing cooperatives from the perspective of law, accounting and tax

This diploma thesis aims to assess the issue of housing cooperatives in terms of law, accounting and tax. The part relating to law is based on Business Corporations Act and the new Civil Code. Using the coherent application example, the work tries to show the specifics related to housing associations in the field of tax and accounting, which include settlement of advances, billing advances for the normal operation of cooperati-ves, billing additional membership contributions and repair fund. In parts relating to taxes is pointed to obligations arising from tax laws. For this thesis was determined following hypothesis: Rent from members of the cooperative to cover the cost of normal operation is accounted through profit or loss.
