Práce rozdebírá rozvahové položky "goodwill" a "oceňovací rozdíl k nabytému majetku" dle platné české legislativy. První kapitola je zaměřena obecně na položku goodwill, vysvětluje její podstatu a její složky. V druhé kapitole je již goodwill rozdělen na dvě položky a objasňovány z pohledu českého práva. To jak ho definuje české právo, jak se účtuje, atd. V závěrečné kapitole jsou ukázány příklady akvizic podniků s použitím obou těchto položek. Bachelor thesis analyses two balance items "goodwill" and "difference in valuation to acquired assets" according to actual czech legislation. First chapter interpret basic theme about goodwill. Second chapter focus on goodwill from czech legislation view. Goodwill is divide in two balance item. The chapter pointed out definition of both balance items, their accounting rules, etc. In the last chapter are two examples on acquisition with using both balance items.
