This work describes problems of creation of graphic intro of limited size. It discusses the design and creation of individual parts of intro. Describes the principle of procedural generation of objects and textures, simple physical simulation with particles, tree and vegetation generating, rendering water surface with reflection and glint and storm rendering. There is also described some processing power optimalizations.

Hydrogels based on cationic polyelectrolytes

This diploma thesis deals with the study of physical hydrogels based on positively-charged polyelectrolyte. The study is to investigate the interaction of selected positively-charged polyelectrolytes with oppositely charged surfactants in water and in physiologicla saline solution (0.15 M NaCl). The influence of the process for preparing hydrogels. Hydrogels were prepared by dry or wet. Were tested solubilization abilities hydrogels prepared using the hydrophobic dye oil red O were also measured rheological properties of the hydrogels prepared using frequency oscillatory tests and flow tests, depending on the concentration of the polymer or surfactant. For the rheological experiments suggest that chitosan is capable of forming rigid hydrogels with better mechanical properties than the dextran in the presence of both surfactants. Selected samples were also carried out experiments using fluorescent sold prodan, nile red and -naphthol as fluorescent probes. And in selected experiments was determined by solids content in percentage depending on the concentration used polyelectrolytes or surfactants.

Design of the multipurpose small water reservoir

Master's thesis aims to design a small water reservoir. It is the dry water reservoir which is situated above a built-up area. The main function of this reservoir is a flood protection. Digital terrain model is created in a program BENTLEY MicroStation V8i – Power Civil. Focusing points in a data file are used in a process of creating of the DTM. Adjustments are done in AutoCAD. Particular hydro-technical calculations are calculated in a program Microsoft Excel. A program HEC-HMS is used for an assessment of a flood wave transformation and a program HEC-RAS is used for a water runoff simulation via emergency spillway.

Feasibility study of the flood protection measures in the localities of Husovice and Židenice at the Svitava river at km 6,000 – 9,000

Diploma thesis deals with a suggestion of flood protection measures on the Svitava river in km 6,000 – 9,000. Solved locality is found in Brno, particularly in city parts of Husovice and Židenice. Thanks to used joined 1D and 2D model were made hydraulic calculations for peak water stages Q1, Q5, Q20 a Q100. The outputs of hydraulic calculations were used afterwards for creation of maps of flood danger and drawing documentation of flood protection measures.

Hyaluronan ion complexes

This diploma thesis is focused on the study of physical and chemical properties of hyaluronan and cationic surfactant. As the cationic surfactant Septonex was used. The influence of the environment on the system, the effect of molecular weight of hyaluronan, and its concentration was studied. Then, the study of the influence and the effects of concentration of Septonex on the interaction of hyaluronan-surfactant followed. Different methods of measurement were chosen to characterize these ionokomplexes. The critical micelle concentration of the surfactant itself was measured, and then also with the addition of hyaluronan by spectrofluorimetry with fluorescent probe pyren. It was found, that hyaluronan forms gel with Septonex. On this basis, gels were prepared for three different molecular weights of hyaluronan – 300 kDa, 806 kDa and 1697 kDa. Gels were prepared in a ratio of hyaluronan – surfactant 1:1. In gels prepared in this way, the influence of environmental water and 0.15 M NaCl was studied and it was found that at 0.15 M NaCl clear gels are formed. Selected samples of the gels were then measured with oscillatory testing and the rheological behavior of gels of Septonex was studied. As the last method the turbidimetric measurement was chosen, which characterized the turbidity point in the gradual addition of Septonex to sodium hyaluronate solution. Again, the effect of the molecular weight of hyaluronan and its concentration in two environments - water and 0.15 M NaCl was evaluated. It was found that 0,15 M NaCl suppresses formation of turbidity and formation of precipitates.

Determination of basic parameters of thermal water

The main aim of this study was to outline the theory of classification and the geochemistry of subsurface waters. It mainly deals with ground water cycle from its inception to the way the earth's surface. It describes the formation of the chemical composition of underground water and the formation of thermal waters, which were established in the practical parts of sulphates, chlorides and nitrates rapid colorimetric mobile analytics to a spectrophotometric cuvette ending as a referee method.

Optimization of chloramination based on raw water quality and operational conditions of a water treatment plant

The most difficult part of water treatment is to ensure that water will be delivered to consumer in unchanged form and hygienic unexceptionable. To hygienic safety is using doses of chlor, whiches are deadly for organisms and inhibite their proliferation in pipeline. Modern way how to clear water from organism is called chloramination. By the help of ammonium salts chlor is released in sequence. So large single-shot doses of chlor aren´t necessary. Due the big dose was THM and another dangerous compounds formed.


The poetic of primordial elements in the poetry of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen

The pressented thesis: " The Poetics of the primordial elements in the poetry of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen" explores the poetics of the sifnicicant Portuguese poet of the 20th century. We try to trace the literary evolution of the poetess in the thesis, we observe if there important changes appear in the poetess' manner of writing during her longstanding artistic career and, in particular, we explore the influense of the primordial elements on her poetry. At first we describe Andresen's books of poetry and we attend to the dominant themes of her creation - Nature, motifs of Ancient Greece, Christianity and the denomination of the things. In the second part of the thesis we explore the influence of the primordial elements on the poetic imagination of the poetess. We, gradually, discover the possible interpretations of the priomordial elements - water, earth, fire and air in her poetry. Our research is, to a certain extent, based on the works of the French psychologist Gaston Bachelard and the Portuguese literary critic Carlos Ceia.

Hydraulic analysis of the Brno – Ivanovice water supply system

This diploma´s thesis aims to model the hydraulic model of the Brno – Ivanovice water supply system. The software MIKE URBAN for model hydraulic model of water supply system was used. It was performed a simulation of the various states of loading. The water supply system was assessment of pressure ratios. The outcome of this work is calibrated hydraulic model of water supply system. The appendix consists also of drawings, which represented pressure ratios, which are situated on water supply system. On the fourth drawing is described transparent situation of Brno-Ivanovice water supply system.
