Buchta, Martin ; Půlpánová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Hradil, Dušan (referee)
A failure of systemically important bank was up to the present time in most cases avoided through providing financial support by government because there were concerns about destroying the financial stability followed by decline in economic activity because of size, interconnectedness and limited substitutability of the failing bank. However, the implicit governmental guarantees for systemically important banks create many distortions in an economy which are desirable to eliminate. Considering restriction of moral hazard, no increase in systemic risk and preservation of social benefits of G-SIBs the parallel implementation of higher capital requirements and recovery and resolution policy seems to be the most effective measure from proposed regulatory measures for systemically important banks. The future benefits and costs of these measures will be dependent in a high degree on the form and way in which the new rules will be incorporated by governments to their national regulatory frameworks.

Land snail shell degradation in forest environment
Říhová, Dagmar ; Horsák, Michal (referee) ; Juřičková, Lucie (advisor)
Experimental shell degradation of nine common Central European pulmonate snail species in forest ecosystems in the Czech Republic was investigated. Model shells were deposited for 6, 12, 24 and 36 months in leaf litter of six different places; than removed, dried and photographed. Set of alternations was analysed by CANOCO 4.5 statistical system. Small species degrade different from large ones. Large species corrode outwards, after periostracum disruption the ostracum dissolves and holes appear. Small species corrode out from within, calcium carbonate dissolves and small windows arise. The shell degradation proceeds with different rate on various localities. Some localities have characteristic types of alteration, e.g. peat bog pine forest exhibits ostracum dissolution and periostracum deformation. The ultimate influence of the degradation is caused by pH value and humidity. Shell shape and size have effect on its degradation. Moreover, other important decomposition agents are living animals. Influence of filter porosity on evaluation of solid vaste ecotoxicity
Picková, Eva ; Kočí, Vladimír (advisor) ; Kobetičová, Klára (referee)
Filtration is a process of separation that affects the filtrate composition. According to the methods of European Union, within the separation of the suspended solid particles from the liquid phase of the waste extract mostly the membrane filters with 0,45 m pore diameter, however in the Czech Republic the size of the filter is 5 m. Aquatic waste extract was filtered through membrane filters of various porosities during the thesis. Another sample was created through the process of centrifuge separation for the purposes of comparison. The aim was to determine and valorize the effect of the filtration process of separation on the result of permeate toxicity gained through the various procedures from the perspective of algal bio-test. The thesis used freshwater algae Desmodesmus subspicatus. The outcome is that the pore size of the membrane filters does not have any influence on the score results of the final toxicity of the sample. Separation of the aquatic waste extract by centrifugation proved to be inappropriate.

Breeding Results of Bohemian Red Cattle in South Bohemia Region
VAŇKOVÁ, Kateřina
This work is focused on the evaluation of breeding Czech red cattle breeders working South Bohemian Region, guaranteed of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. This work describes the characteristics of the breed, its origin and the process of regeneration. The ongoing process began with the absorptive crossing of Czech Pied cattle with Czech red bulls, which led to the increase of female part of population over the number corresponding with the size of critically endangered breed. The situation in male part of population is less favourable with critical lack of bulls, which slows down the regeneration process. According to the exquisite assumption of meat production, but with worse results of milk efficiency, the breeding of cows without market milk production seems to be the best way. It is very important to keep of safe boundary of koeficient intensity of family breeding at potential descendants. Not even providing this process to be successful, the breeders Czech red cattle won{\crq}t get along without adequate subsidies, which should be offer to partial animals with verified genotype according to their category. Currently is the number of animals with genotype CC, which fall under the control of appointed department, 114 pcs.
