The sector of rental housing

Práce je zaměřena na současnou situaci v bytové oblasti, zvláštně na sektor nájemního bydlení v České republice a v Německu. Úvodní kapitola objasňuje základní charakteristiky a specifika bydlení, vztahy nabídky a poptávky na trhu s byty. Charakterizuje také současnou situaci v bytové oblasti a strukturu bytového fondu. Druhá kapitola je věnována právní úpravě bydlení v nájemním bytě a zmiňuje státní intervence a základní nástroje bytové politiky. Ve třetí kapitole je analyzováno nájemní bydlení v České republice, kde jsou rozlišeny formy regulace nájemného a jejich dopady. Závěrečná kapitola rozebírá nájemní vztahy v Německu, strukturu bytového fondu a systém místně obvyklého nájemného. V rámci forem podpory bydlení se zaměřuje na systém sociálního bydlení a příspěvek na bydlení.

Ingeborg Bachmann in Czech literature and culture

V úvodu diplomové práce představuji život a dílo Ingeborg Bachmannové. Tato kapitola zahrnuje rovněž charakteristiku doby, v níž Bachmannová žila, a charakteristiku prostředí, jímž byla autorka ovlivněna. Několik stran je věnováno vztahu Ingeborg Bachmannové k českému prostředí. Přibližuji, jak Bachmannová chápala jazyk a pokouším se shrnout celkovou recepci díla Ingeborg Bachmannové ve výchozím, tj. německém prostředí. Velkou pozornost jsem v této práci věnovala tzv. překladatelské archeologii (Pym 1998: 5). Konstatuji, která díla Bachmannové byla již přeložena do češtiny. Všímám si, v jakém období a za jakým účelem u nás jednotlivé překlady děl Bachmannové vycházely, kdo překlady zadával, kdo dílo rakouské autorky do češtiny převáděl, v jakém nákladu jednotlivé překlady vycházely a s jakými reakcemi se setkávaly v českém tisku. Jádrem této diplomové práce je překladatelská analýza románu Malina. Analýzu provádím podle modelu Reissové (1978). Nežli však přistoupím k samotné analýze, román Malina představím. Pojednám o struktuře románu, podám charakteristiku postav, které v románu vystupují. Pokusím se shrnout obsah díla a přiblížit několik možných způsobů interpretace románu Malina. Při samotné překladatelské analýze věnuji pozornost zejména odchylkám od předlohy. Podle zjištěných odchylek konstatuji, k...

"My soul resembles the sea". Motifs of nature in Alfonsina Storni's works

(in English): The diploma's thesis deals with the natural theme in the work of Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni. The first part briefly outlines her biography. Following theoretical chapter presents several literary movements of which the writer is considered to be part of: modernism, postmodernism and avant-garde. Among others the work refers to the distinctive position of the author in the Hispano-american poetry. The main part consists of the analyses of several poems of Alfonsina Storni, chosen from her work according to the selected topics. Primarily, the element of the sea, the earth and the sky are being analyzed, after that the elements of fauna and flora are interpreted. The analyses are oriented not only on the content and meaning of the poems but also on the formal part in which the shift of author's style is noticeable. The final part of the thesis briefly introduces other topics which are related with the author's writing. The whole work is based primarily on the author's works, followed by theoretical studies related to the era and also on two biographies and several interpretations of the particular works. Since there has not been yet published any translation of Alfonsina's Storni work, an attachment of this thesis consists of translations of several selected poems.

Copyright protection of databases

(EN) Primary focus of this thesis is the copyright protection of databases. This thesis introduce the copyright protection of databases as an essential element of two pillar system of European Union database protection law that is based on the directive no. 69/9/ES on the legal protection of databases. First five chapters of this thesis are concerned with general questions related to the copyright protection of databases. Purpose of these chapters is to introduce roots of legal and other nature from which the copyright protection of databases arises. This part of the thesis thus defines the phenomenon of databases in relation to information society, available means of protection, the purpose of legal protection of databases, the legal framework and relevant legal traditions. Subject of sixth chapter is the definition of database as a specific category of work and compares it with other kinds of works with the emphasis on common and distinctive characteristics. Seventh chapter focuses on elementary features of the copyright protection of databases, ie. structural protection, concept of originality and rights related to the creation and the use of databases. Biology of epiphytic bryophytes: methods of study

This thesis is aimed to provide basic description and summary of methods used to study biology/ecology of bryophytes, especially epiphytes. Described methods include study of mosses and liverworts; hornworts are not included due to the fact that their epiphytic form is not known. There are five chapters in this thesis, all of them are primarily focused on description of basic or most useful methods for studying phenology, growth, bioindication and environmental conditions, e.g. light and water relationship measurement as well as bark pH measurement. The last one, "Forms and Strategies", is only terminological and it includes terms of life and growth forms and life strategy which are used in studying colonies of bryophytes.

Technická analýza devizového kurzu

Práce pojednává o teorii, předpokladech a vybraných nástrojích technické analýzy. Zaměřuje se na aplikaci popsaných indikátorů v prostředí Mezinárodního devizového trhu s důrazem na krátkodobé spekulace. Součástí je popis cílového trhu a statistické zkoumání relativních změn kurzů obchodovaných měnových párů. V rámci představení teorie efektivních trhů a jejích důsledků pro technickou analýzu je proveden jednoduchý test slabé formy efektivnosti. Na závěr jsou na totožných datech z Forexu porovnány 4 obchodní systémy založené na technicko-analytických nástrojích.

Social and legal status of persons with health disabilities

The very thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis at the very beginning focused on the social history of people with certain disabilities. Continues thesis definition and characteristics of disability and its exact breakdown. The next chapter deals with the analysis of contemporary society in the area of discrimination against persons with disabilities and points to the possibility of employment in the labor market just people with disabilities. A relatively large part of the thesis is devoted to the concept of disability, then the conditions for entitlement to a disability pension and social benefits, especially for people with disabilities. The next part refers to various non-profit organizations Conclusion itself thesis is devoted to legislation related to social assistance to disabled persons. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey forms and personal interviews. The text part is supported by graphs, tables and streamline the survey results further illustrative photographs of people with disabilities.

Economic aspects of the Public-Private Partnerships

This thesis deals with economic impacts of the application of the Public-Private Partnerships in the Czech Republic. Public-Private Partnerships are the newest form of the cooperation between public and private sector in delivering of public goods. The theoretic part of the thesis comes close to the fundamental aspects of the Public private partnerships and their characteristics, to the reasons of participation of the subjects in the projects, to the forms of Public-Private Partnerships, their phases and to the differences between government contracts and Public-Private Partnerships. The second chapter deals with the legislation of the Public-Private Partnerships in the European Union, Czech Republic and chosen countries. The analytic part of the thesis deals with economic aspects of the Public-Private Partnerships, their advantages, disadvantages, benefits and potential risks. The aim of the thesis is to discuss presented advantages and disadvantages of the Public Private Partnerships and its possible impacts of the application in the Czech Republic.

NATO and the Czech Republic

The main aim of this thesis is to answer the question how the security of the Czech Republic was solved during the Cold War and after it, with the emphasis on the time period after 1989 and the development of the relationship between the Czech Republic and NATO. Special attention is drawn to the political discussion in the Czech Republic before its accession to NATO in 1999.
