Mortgage Crisis in the USA during the First Decade of the 21st Century

The aim of this diploma thesis is an analysis of the contemporary mortgage crisis in the USA. The thesis consists of four sections. The first part describes historical developments of the American mortgage market with the emphasis on securitization. The second chapter deals with the market failures occurring within the securitization process. The third chapter is dedicated to the primary mortgage market, in particular to the causes of the previous credit boom, "running" house prices. Moreover, this chapter analyzes the "subprime" and "Alt-A" mortgage market, their products and practices prevailing on these markets. The last chapter is devoted to the secondary mortgage markets. The aim of this chapter is to describe how "subprime" and "Alt-A" mortgage deals were structured. The case study offers an example and its results are presented.

Branch of bank, change of its status and its value in contemporary Czech banking system.

This study concerns view of contemporary branch of bank. It shortly deals with history of bank branch in Czech environment after 1989. Further the study analyses its importance, advantages and disadvantages comparing direct banking - online banking in particular. The key point of the study is to answer the question if there is a future of branch of bank. Whether it will cooperate successfully with internet online channels of communication or it will be superseded by online banking at all.

Analysis obout infrastructure of a resort Lipno nad Vltavou

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make descroption about municipality Lipno nad Vltavou and its neighbouring municipalities in deed. In the theoretical part I have explained few basic conceptions and summarized some basic informations about transport infrastructure and characteristic of municipality Lipno nad Vltavou. The practical part is based on contemporary traffic availibility of this area, internal infrastructure of the center; concretely about the interconnection of three ski areas and describes principal the infrastructure of a municipality in details. According to the observed data I have done SWOT analysis about individual means of transport. The closing part of my bachelor thesis fucuses on an actively planned project which is the main part of the project -- developement of Lipenský region.

Body image and contemporary society (Research on Gay consumers in the Czech republic)

The thesis focuses on body image - defines the main characteristics of this area, describes cultural influences and body image history and explains basic quantitative values (Body Mass Index, Waist Hip Ratio, Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis). Furthemore the thesis deals with media influence on body ideal formation process, especially in gay subculture. The research part explores recent situation of body image in gay subculture compared with heterosexual males. This section includes the content analysis of mainstream gay movies which compares media presentation of gays and the real situation and examines media influence on gay body image formation.

Marketing mix - the Prague Zoo

The Bachelor thesis deals with tools of the marketing mix of the most visited Czech zoo - The Prague Zoo. The aim of the thesis is a description and an evaluation of the marketing mix of the Prague Zoo. I want to find out what has been behind the success of the Prague Zoo in the few last years. The theoretical part defines important terms refering to marketing, service marketing and marketing mix. The explanation of the sence of zoological gardens, the history and the presence of the Prague Zoo follows. In the practical part the parts of marketing mix of the Prague Zoo are described. These parts are subsequently evaluated. As a conclusion, I summarize realized findings and consider contemporary situation of the Prague Zoo.

Theory and Practice an the Competence of Graduate Nurse. Working in the Surgical Ambulance This bachelor thesis deals with the contemporary situation and new trends in health service - in the branch of nursing. It presents and evaluates theoretical assumptions of further development of a graduated nurse in new conditions. The empirical part is aimed at identification of the conditions for the work of a graduated nurse and to recognize whether the current legislation enables such a nurse to work individually, concretely in surgical ambulance. The thesis concludes that graduated nurses are allowed to work individually and separately conformably to the laws, and patients and insurance companies take concern in their work. On the basis of this fact some questions arise: Why is there a problem to implement it in practice? Do we really take care in graduate nurses?

The Development and the Present Situation of Austria and its Position in the European Union

The aim of the diploma thesis is to characterize the development of Austria after World War Two, to chart its progressive integration into Europe and to evaluate its present position in the European Union. The first chapters of the thesis describe the economic and political development of Austria from 1945 to 2000; attention is paid to the gradual integration of Austria into the European Communities. Furthermore, the thesis concentrates on the development of Austria after 1995. It analyses the economic impact of its entry into the EU as well as its present position in the Union. It also discusses selected themes such as the first and second Austrian presidency of the EU, sanctions on Austria, the Austrian approach to the eastern enlargement of the EU and the Austrian citizens' view on the EU. It shortly addresses the contemporary relations of Austria and the Czech Republic.

Singing Scales in the Lower Grades of Primary School with a Focus on the First Grade

The diploma thesis deals with a problem of non-singing (unmusical) young children. It presents and evaluates methods of solution in contemporary practice of primary school teachers. Theoretical part is devoted to children's voice, different approaches of teachers to the improvement/remedy of non- singing/unmusical children, analysis of commercial textbooks and methodological handbooks for the first class which are used now in teaching practice at primary schools. The second part is composed of a research probe. Using questionnaires, information on the method of solving the problem of non- singing/unmusical children in contemporary practice has been obtained. Inter-Departmental Cooperation at Primary Art Schools and How it is Organized

This bachelor final project deals with the current situation on the field of cooperation between various departments at the contemporary basic art schools in the Czech Republic. The first part is devoted to the generally given facts concerning the legislative regulations in the field of education. In the second part of this project confronts the author the theory with its practical application in the functioning of the school of this type on the daily basis. The final part is set up as a critical evaluation of the present situation that is among others based on the analysis of the data obtained in the form of two questionnaires distributed to a number of basic art schools in the Czech Republic. This interpretation of the results of the small research includes also suggestions with regard to solving various problems and stimulating further development in the field of co-operation among different departments of the basic art schools. Arbitration as a type of alternative dispute resolution.

This thesis deals with arbitration. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether arbitration has a future in of Czech Republic and whether it can compete with court proceeding considering its regulation in the Act on arbitration. The thesis enables the confirmation or disproof of hypotheses claiming that arbitration represents a parallel to dispute resolution in civil proceedings, that the amendment of the Act on arbitration from the year 2016 is a step in the right direction, and that general courts do not intervene in the arbitration proceedings. The diploma thesis is divided in two chapters, the first chapter discusses alternative disputes resolution and the second chapter analyzes arbitration. Within the second chapter, the attention is focused on the concept of arbitration, its contemporary regulation and types, arbitrability, arbitration ageement, arbitrator, principles, process and ending of arbitration.
