Knowledge and skill level of high school students in terms of giving non-professional first aid

Synopsis (annotation) This work is dealing with mapping the level and skills of high school students in terms of giving first aid. Isuggest how first aid should be optimally presented in school teaching, placed into syllabus and verified in practice. This study includes 3parts. The first part is theoretical and focuses on general characteristics of the most common injuries and problems which can occur in people's lives. I describe the right treating methods and also the most common mistakes in treatment. I suggest how first aid should be optimally presented in schools teaching and placed into syllabus. The second part is practical and I created atest for high school students. Consequently, I processed the data and evaluated them in graphs and charts. I supplemented this part with model situations in which students demonstrated the resuscitation method and recovery position. In the third part, I compare the reached results to anticipated hypothesis and aims of my work.

Formation of personality in the prenatal stage and its consequences for educational development

V posledních letech stále více slyšíme nejen v médiích o problémech současného světa. Problémech regionálních a zejména problémech globálních, ať už environmentálních, interkulturních či antroposociálních. Neustále slyšíme o zhoršujících se mezilidských vztazích ať už v rodině, ve škole, v obcích, v politice, v celé společnosti. Hledají se různé cesty možné nápravy, a tudíž i příčiny tohoto současného stavu. Je jisté, že příčin je mnoho, možná více, než si je společnost schopna uvědomit a ochotna připustit. Tudíž i cest k nápravě současné situace je nespočet. Jednou z nich může být i vědomé utváření osobnosti člověka již v prenatálním období. Součástí světa jsou lidé, a změny mohou nastat tehdy, pokud se kromě anonymního "my" budeme obracet k osobnímu "já". Mnozí psychologové soudí, že mnoho problémů každého z nás vzniká již v průběhu prenatálního a perinatálního života. A i vzájemný vztah dítěte s jeho okolím, nastává již od početí. Nejprve pouze s matkou, později i s dalšími.

Analysis of Biljana Srbljanović's dramatic work between the years 1996-2003

The object of my MA thesis is the analysis of works by the contemporary Serbian playwright Biljana Srbljanovié (*1970). She graduated in dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade between the years 1991 - 1996. Her MA thesis was her verv own drama called ''Beograd trí/ogy" ("Beogradska trilogija"). Biljana Srbljanovié is the author of such plays as ''Fami/y Ta/es" ("Porodične priče" - 1998), "The Fa/I" ("Pad" - 1999), "Supermarket, a Soap Opera" ("Supermarket, soap opera" - 2001), ''Ameríca/ Part Two" ("Amerika, drugi deo" - 2003). She received many prestigious domestic awards including the Sterijino Pozorje Award. She managed to get accepted with German speaking audiences on German stages between the years 1998 - 2000. Biljana Srbljanovié' s dramas were published and produced in more than fifty domestic and foreign theaters. As the first foreign author she received the Ernest Toller Award in 1999. The works by Biljana Srbljanovié can be divided into two periods. The first begins with her debut "Beograd trí/ogyl~ and ends in 1999 with "The Fa/I". The second period is distinguished by the two remaining dramas "Supermarket" and ''Ameríca ". Comparision of Selected Stock Markets in Spain and South American Countries

The main aim of my thesis is the comparison of the three selected Iberian and South American stock markets: Stock market in Madrid, Caracas and Santiago. I will focus on the reasons that enable development of these stock markets, including not only the economical reasons and effects, but also political actions, especially government of each city, economical, social and oil crisis, the way they are organized and how they operate. Furthermore, I will compare the articles and instruments of each exchange quotation. Moreover, there are included entry and exchange conditions, index of these stock exchange markets, their characteristics and their constitutions. Consequently, I will try to analyze some of the published statistical data of the stock markets, such as the capacity of business dealing, selling capitalization, number of dealing corporations, the value of joint-stock companies, quantities of issued bonds and stocks and bonos.

The Slovak republic in the globalization processes

This thesis describes economic globalization processes, explains the main terms and finally depicts the Slovak republic in the process of globalization. There are interpreted effects and impacts of globalization on the economy of Slovakia and there is also characterized the involvement of the Slovak republic in the multinational matters and global economy. The thesis shows economic developement of Slovakia based on major macroeconomic indicators. The extend of the involvemenet of Slovakia in the multinational matters is expresed by the developement of international trade, capital flows, transnational corporations, migration of labour and consequently the economy of the Slovak republic is compared to the developed economies of the world to show the involvement of the globalization processes in the economy of the country.

Diploma thesis: ,,Satisfaction of users of social services and the scope of their providers in a selected region" focuses on finding satisfaction of users of social services in Prostějov. The theoretical part introduces the term satisfaction, users of social services, social services, and consequently social service providers to pass the practical part of the individual providers of social services in Prostějov and subsequent questionnaire survey, which is addressed to all users of social services. The interview method is given to the staff of social service providers. Upon detection of discontent social service users are treated suggestions for improvements in social services.

Solving the consequences of work injuries in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the work injury insurance. In the first chapter I outlined the historical develepement of this kind of insurence and analyzed the statistics about the work injuries in the Czech Republic in the year 2007. The following chapter contains the current aproach to solving the work injury insurance and the positives and negatives of this system. In the last chapter I discuss the possible approaches in solving the current sittuation and at the end I tried to propose my own solution to the work injury insurance.

The Perception of Marks and Written Assessment by Teachers, Pupils and Parents

My diploma paper is focused on perceiving the issue o f m arking and verbal evaluation at the prim ary schools by teachers, pupils and parents. In the theoretical part I investigated the ideas o f theorists. I concentrated on the concepts o f evaluation and assessm ent, the types and functions o f evaluation and verbal evaluation and marking. I carried out a theoretical analysis o f the advantages and disadvantages o f the exam ined forms of evaluation. The aim o f the practical part was to research and consequently estim ate the current situation, particularly to w hat extent are theorist's opinions related to / different from the school practice. I would like to em phasize that, according to my opinion, two most im portant conclusions come out of my research. None of the discussed w ays of evaluation is more convenient - the best w ould be to com bine and utilize both of them. The parents play indispensable role in the evaluation process. Míra ohrožení chudobou jako indikátor chudoby v Evropě ? analýza vlastností a vypovídací schopnosti

Tématika sociální soudržnosti a sociálního vyloučení hraje v posledním období stále významnější roli v agendě Evropské unie. Spolu s tímto vývojem narůstá i potřeba srovnatelných sociálních indikátorů pro oblast příjmů a životních podmínek. Významným indikátorem pro tuto oblast je v současné době indikátor ?míra ohrožení chudobou?, který patří do skupiny klíčových strukturálních indikátorů pro pravidelné monitorování sociální situace v EU. V této souvislosti se tento indikátor těší rostoucí mediální pozornosti a zájmu uživatelů. Tématem předkládané práce je analýza tohoto indikátoru, jeho vlastností a vypovídací schopnosti. Úvodní část se zabývá teoretickými koncepty měření chudoby, vybranými indikátory pro měření chudoby a problematice dat o příjmech domácností. Druhá kapitola podrobně analyzuje definici indikátoru ?míra ohrožení chudobou? a jednotlivé její parametry. Prezentovány jsou odhady hodnot tohoto indikátoru v České republice pro populaci celkem a vybrané socioekonomické skupiny obyvatelstva spočtené z dat šetření Mikrocensus 2002. Třetí kapitola analyzuje citlivost výsledků na volbu dvou hlavních parametrů indikátoru ? procenta mediánu příjmu pro stanovení hranice chudoby a stupnice spotřebních jednotek použité pro přepočet disponibilních příjmů domácností. Kromě obvyklého srovnání několika referenčních hodnot je navrženo použití parametrického přístupu a empirických citlivostních křivek jako vhodného nástroje pro analýzu vývoje hodnoty indikátoru v závislosti na parametrech v jeho definici. Závěrečná část práce se pak věnuje vlastnostem odhadu míry ohrožení chudobou jako statistické veličiny a dopady, které tyto vlastnosti mohou mít na jeho interpretaci a používání.

Vedoucí práce doc., JUDr. Jan Pichrt, Ph.D. The aim of the thesis is mainly to highlight the level of coverage by collective agreements in the CR and to analyze the impact of collective bargaining for employees and employers using available statistical data. By the evaluation of the processes of collective bargaining and focusing on its individual institutes I am looking for the perfect method of handling the collective bargaining so as to be beneficial for both parties involved, and try to present the method how the modern trade union should work in its interaction with the employer, different from the common practice of today's trade unions. I also point out the need for proper analysis of the situation prior to collective bargaining and the method of selecting strategy for negotiations. I chose the topic based on my personal experience with the representation of employees and involvement in the collective bargaining and also on the experience of participation in the EWC.
