Comparison of political and economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo-Kinshasa and the Republic of Congo-Brazzaville

The presented thesis "Comparison of political and economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo-Kinshasa and the Republic of Congo-Brazzaville" aims to familiarize the reader with political and economic development of these countries on the background of historical events from early history to the present day, to analyze their differences, and to find the cause of greater economic prosperity of the Republic of Congo. The paper deals with the current situation in both countries, points to the steps that the countries make, and presents their perspective for the future. The first four chapters of the thesis are based mainly on indirect political and economic comparison with an emphasis on the dominant ruling of Mobutu Sese Seko in the DRC and Denis Sassou Nguesso in the RC. The fifth chapter determines the differences of the economic development of the countries by using various economic indicators.

Graphic realization of a book: Bible for children

My thesis should combine all three specializations of my study, art education, civics and pedagogic. The objective of my work is creating an author{\crq}s book of Bible stories for children. The main idea is to approach Bible to atheists, or more precisely to unbelieving children. I entitled the theoretic part of the thesis Bible {--} What For? I explain there, why also an atheist should know Bible. I examine Bible from various points of view. I search the importance of Bible for different groups of people (believing, not believing, children, artists...), I think out the relation Bible {--} art, I write also about Bible in education. One chapter is about some sayings, names and other things, which come from Bible and we use them in common language. Also my personal experience with Bible has its place in my thesis. In the last chapter I describe the procedure of work on the practical part. In the practical part of the thesis I targeted the Old Testament. I retelled some stories from the Old Testament, so as they are suitable for children. Those stories I accompanied with a collection of ilustrations. They are made by lino {--} cutting. The collection contains 19 whole-page pictures, 5 half-page pictures, 3 little pictures and the book-jacket). I put my texts and ilustrations together to a book. The final design of the book is also a part of my thesis. I entitled this book of stories First Step to Bible.

The implementation of the information system at the travel agency

This Bachelor thesis explores criteria for choosing an information system and its subsequent implementation in a company. It introduces us with the real information system M2G which is used by travel agencies. It offers comparison with competing businesses and thinks of principal assets and weaknesses of the system which lead to acceptance or refusal system M2G in competitive tendering of travel agencies. The thesis analyses the process of the implementation, describes and evaluates the use of the project management. The main objective of this thesis is, on the basis of theoretical knowledge, discover imperfections of the project management in the supplier's company and make suggestions which could lead to more efficient implementation of the information system. Another objective is to compose steps contributing to higher success in selling the system. So the thesis suggests internal changes and changes pointed to customers.

Supervisor's e-mail: riha@euromise.cz This PhD thesis deals with the possibilities of clinical content harmonisation in elec- tronic health records (EHR). In the first sections, the current state of the art in the field of EHR and other related fields is summarised, as well as that of the tools supported by current software technologies and the results of research in the field of medical in- formatics. The work is focused on analysis of obstacles in sharing medical data and on proposals of steps for overcoming these obstacles. Next, the utilized tools, modelling approaches, standards and coding systems used during the research are summed up. In the following sections the methods pointing to achieving harmonized clinical models are elaborated on and resulting clinical concepts mappings, supporting tools, developed EHR systems and semantic interoperability platforms are presented. THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL CRISIS ON THE IMMIGRATION POLICY OF GREAT BRITAIN

This thesis focuses on migration issues in an economic downturn. The first part deals with basic concepts and theories of migration. Attention is focused primarily on economic migration, which is closely linked to labor migration. The following general assumptions about the determinants and factors affecting migration in an economic downturn. Relationship between recessions and migration illustrated chapter on the history of financial crises. Another section is devoted to the economic situation of Great Britain and generally captures the nature of migration in the UK. Subsequent chapters deal with current and historical development of immigration policy in the UK. Attention is paid to work programs, the modifications led to the introduction of a new points system. Briefly outlined the basic steps taken in connection with the economic downturn. This work is also about the possible effects of immigration policy on migratory flows, in connection with the adopted amendments.

This Thesis analyze organizational administrative steps and impact of integration of extensive EU 7th Framework Programme from Research and Development area into current small-medium company environment with foreign capital in local Czech market. Thesis pointing out to one of many ways of project implementation into intradepartmental structure it`s complexity and possible difficulties. The practical part analyses initial phase of the project, concrete deprivation, mistakes taken during implementation phase and than practical financial, administrative, legal and organizational recommendations.

Financial Analysis of company Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a. s.

As the subject of my bachelor's paper, I have chosen the financial analysis of company Rodinný pivovar BERNARD a. s. This paper points out on financial health from different angles during the observed years 2003-2008 and its goal is to bring a complex view on its financial situation. This paper consists of two basic parts, theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with particular steps, procedures and methods of calculation used in this paper. In the practical part I shortly describe the company and then I perform horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and income statement, followed by cash flow analysis. Afterwards I focus on balance sheet rules, ratio indicators of profitability, activity, liquidity, indebtedness and analysis of working capital. To evaluate the company's financial health as a whole I use creditworthy and bankruptcy prediction models and analysis of economic value added. In the end I compare company's results with the average results from its business sector.

Employee training and development in company Kovolis Hedvikov a.s.

This thesis analyzes the approach to education in company Kovolis Hedvikov a.s. The aim is to assess its benefits for the company, effectiveness of the training, employee satisfaction with their own improvement and possible future development in the company. The first part is devoted to the theoretical starting-points, such as theory of learning, forms and methods of education and development, identification of training needs, legislative requirements for staff training, etc. The practical part describes the actual corporate strategy, training methods used, all the activities necessary for providing training, planned educational events, exploiting opportunities for education and utilization of funds for training, staff motivation to learn and develop. On the basis of these data the thesis identifies weaknesses in the actual approach to employee development. Finally, there are described recommendations for next steps, which may have a positive impact on long-term operation of the company.

Franchising as a way of entering the market

In the first part, there is mentioned a franchise terminology then determined essential steps which are inevitable when creating a successful franchise a there are pointed out franchise opportunities and threats there. The second part is devoted to a franchise exercise in Yves Rocher company. At the end of the thesis there are referred questionnaire results brought out from franchisees.

The aim of diploma work with the topic {\clqq}Effect estimation of organizational architecture production to enterprise competitiveness`` was to suggest optimal organizational architecture for a chosen business subject. Organizational architecture is fundamental for every company which wants to be successful in both Czech and world markets. The introductory part of the diploma work contains of survey of theoretical knowledge from the sphere of organizational architecture. Basic source were books and magazines deal with modern trends in the sphere of organizational architecture and its regulation. In literature search are mentioned key cognisances and statements of well-known authors from the sphere of organizational architecture. The second part deals with detailed description and analysis of company ALPLA limited liability company Petrovice and its present organizational architecture. The main source of information were controlled talks with employees of company. Further the information was gathered from provided internal documents and from other intradepartmental documents, directions, statistical data, annual reports etc. In the conclusive part there are proposed certain steps pointing optimal organizational architecture of a chosen business subject and their positive economic impact upon an analysed company.
