Efficient shortest path search in the public transportation networks
Martínek, Vladislav ; Kopecký, Michal (referee) ; Žemlička, Michal (advisor)
The search for the shortest path is one of the most studied graph problems with interesting applications in various elds. One such eld is human mass transportation, where the path length depends on the time tables of the tra c relations, which implements the path. Goal of this study is to nd efficient algorithm for the shortest path search in human mass transportation network and implement it in the library, which will be also useable on portable devices. The possibilities of time tables preprocessing and use of heuristics on search acceleration will be explored during implementation.

Valenta, Jan ; Pernica, Petr (advisor) ; Jupa, Martin (referee)
This Master's Thesis deals with logistic processes within Unipetrol group of chemical companies with main focus on material flow of polyolefin plastics. Thesis's key objectives are thorough exploring of material flow, identifying possible ineffective areas and suggesting solutions. All parts of the material chain (production line, packaging, warehousing and expedition) are carefully analyzed. Theoretical part defines general logistics, importance of supply chain management in connection with globalization, chemical industry specifics and methods used in analyses (inventory management models). Practical part describes Unipetrol and its departments and more importantly results of executed analyses. Ten selected products with the greatest impact on department efficiency are examined carefully. Thesis conclusion includes final recommendations and chain's weakest places that should be eliminated.

Validation of selected economic theories on macroeconomic data for the Czech Republic
Zoul, Lukáš ; Mirvald, Michal (advisor) ; Matula, Miloš (referee)
The main goal of the thesis is to explore selected economical hypotheses through theoretical conception applying macroeconomics data from the Czech Republic. This thesis includes the following hypotheses: budget deficits solved by increasing taxes, compromise between unemployment and inflation, low impact of budget deficits. To verify these hypotheses, there is a comparison with economic theories such as Laffer curve, which has showed that Laffer peak is at the level of 22 % taxation. Other used theory is the Phillips curve where correlation between inflation and unemployment rate is stronger based on yearly data than on monthly data. Theoretical model IS-LM has confirmed that multiplication effect could have caused the positive economic growth in 2010 and 2011. Even if economical hypothesizes are partially correct, they are not recommended for the government to determine their decisions. There are more efficient long-term solutions that can be used to solve challenges of the recent economic situation.

Was the Spanish labour market reform of 2012 successful?
Bondarevska, Anna ; Pekárek, Štěpán (advisor) ; Prokop, Jaromír (referee)
This thesis explores the efficiency of the reforms on the labor market of Spain in 2012. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of undertaken reform against its own objectives. Relevance of this topic is that after the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 many country s economic situation significantly worsened. Searching for the way out of the complicated and undesirable economic situation countries applied new reforms and development plans majority of which didnt contribute into the improvement of country s economy. Concerning this fact it appears extremely important to analyze measures undertaken by Spanish government and its efficiency. To evaluate the effect caused by the reforms I have analyzed long-term results of it its influence on the selected indicators and overall unemployment.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF PIB-BASED CVD GRAPHENE TRANSFER EFFICIENCY
Bouša, Milan ; Kalbáč, Martin ; Jirka, Ivan ; Kavan, Ladislav ; Frank, Otakar
The transfer of graphene prepared by Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) from metal catalyst to target substrate is an important step in preparing desirable nanoscale structures in various fields of science, and thus searching for fast, cheap and clean method attracts great interest. Investigation of mechanical properties of graphene, which are crucial for applications in flexible electronics, performed on bendable synthetic materials, requires a transfer technique using polymers soluble in aliphatic solvents harmless for target polymer substrates. In this study we explore a dry technique using polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) as stamping polymer and polyisobutylene (PIB) layer as graphene-support polymer. After the transfer PDMS is peeled off and PIB is dissolved in hexane, hence this method fulfils the above mentioned prerequisite. The effectiveness of this transfer was examined by scanning electron microscopy, optical microscopy and Raman microspectroscopy including micro-mapping, and finally by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. With all methods carried out, it was found that this sort of stamp-technique is suitable for a high precision transfer of small grains of CVD graphene onto polymer substrates with large yields and similar purity compared to poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA)based transfer methods. However, it introduces substantial quantity of surface discontinuities, and therefore this is not a proper method for large scale applications.

European Union as an "Area of Justice" (Civil Matters)
Břicháček, Tomáš ; Šlosarčík, Ivo (advisor) ; Weiss, Tomáš (referee)
RÉSUMÉ (ABSTRACT) 1. Judicial cooperation in civil matters is an important area of the European integration that reflects the necessity to provide cross-border private law relations within the EU with legal certainty and judicial protection. This cooperation solves in an efficient way problems that would otherwise result from the differences between the private law systems of the individual Member States and from the independence and territorial limitation of their judicial systems. Its solution consists in the unification and harmonization in the field of the international private law. This method enables to these difficulties to be solved without the necessity o f a deeper interference with the private law systems of the Member States. Currently the area covers an essential part of the subject of the international private law, namely all its key areas - international jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement offoreign judicial decisions, determination of applicable law and legal aid among the courts throughout the Union. A bigger uncovered space is left in the field of applicable law, but there already exist new projects. Altogether, this area seems to be an organic functional complex, which bridges the territorial limits of the nationaljudicial systems. 2. This area is a very dynamic one. The European...
