The work focuses on the evaluation Rool mask and costume in human life and their influence on individuality, personality. The need for transformation of individuals with regard to public space in everyday life is reflective of his inner world and falls on his psyche and identity. In my project I looked at myself as an ordinary person with specific and feelings of my own destiny. So I chose a simple white background. I reflected experience in the theoretical part. I chose the photos for me something important. moments related to the momentary internal experience in my life. I focused exclusively on personal and internal experience.

Development of press media of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren in the period between 1968 and 1990 shown on the example of the magazine Český bratr
Čašková, Marie ; Gerbery, Juraj (referee) ; Köpplová, Barbara (advisor)
Diploma thesis "Development of press media of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren in the period between 1968 and 1990 shown on the example of the magazine Český bratr" deals with changes of content of the Český bratr magazine during the mentioned period. The magazine is the most important printed periodical medium of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren which is the largest non-catholic church in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis introduces the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren as the second largest church and the largest prostestant church in the Czech Republic, and besides describing its contemporary work in the Czech society it handles also its history. Further it deals with the history and development of the Český bratr magazine since its creation in 1924 till today. Also other printed media given out by this church are described, and also the space is mentioned that Czech media of public service devote to religious topics. History of the period 1968 - 1990 in Czechoslovakia is briefly described. The most important laws and rules are mentioned according to which media and churches were functioning at that time. For the research part, a simple content analysis was used to show the main themes that were present in the content of the Český bratr magazine and how they were changing during...

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and osteoarthritis (OA) represent the most common forms of musculosceletal disorders that affect diarthrodial joints, lead to joint damage and disability. Extra-articular manifestations accompanied the joint disease only in RA. Diagnosis of both conditions most commonly bears on the conventional radiography. Mostly in OA, radiographic changes often occur late in the disease and are largely irreversible. Molecular markers could reflect joint damage, inflammation, or immune response. Current investigation revealed potential uses of molecular markers, ranging from understanding pathogenesis of the diseases to predicting and monitoring the outcome of the treatment. The aim of the thesis was to analyze several biochemical markers in serum, synovial fluid and synovial tissue samples from patients with RA and OA. and to evaluate their diagnostic and predictive values as well as their contribution to the pathogenesis of the diseases. We found increased serum pentosidine concentrations in OA patients that were ol a predictive value of the joint space narrowing in OA of the knee joint and correlation between pentosidine and cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) in synovial fluid that make pentosidine one of the new potential biomarkers of the OA. Scrum level of COMP was similar among...

Extrapolace. Aktuální výsledky a problémy
Krbec, Miroslav
This paper is deals with several recent extrapolation results from the recent author´s papers and tackles further the relations of the spaces involved. First, very simple and transparent proofs of extrapolation theorems of Yano type in Lorentz spaces is given, unifiying classical and new results. Second, the variation of the classical situation near arbitrary L_p is studied and the answer is icen in terms of Zygmund, Lorentz-Zygmund and small Lebesgue spaces.

Covariance extension of Chain-ladder method
Žváčková, Lenka ; Marek, Luboš (advisor) ; Hasil, Jakub (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with technical reserves in non-life insurance, in particular with provisions for future claim payments for damages that have occurred, but has not yet been reported to the insurance company. This type of provision is known by the acronym IBNR. After the introductory section containing a general introduction to the issue of claims reserving in non-life insurance different approaches to modeling of IBNR reserves are briefly presented. Subsequently, full attention is given to Chain-ladder method, which is most frequently used in the actuarial practise for the purpose of claims reserving. This method is then presented progressively from its simplest form of a simple computing algorithm followed by Mack's stochastic model to the last theoretical part of this part describing extended form of Chain-ladder method with relations between different groups of insurance portfolio included. In the very last section, all the lessons are demonstrated on real data to give readers an idea of how the process of claims reserving works is in the common actuarial practice.

Analyzis of field hockey players load in a match
Procházka, Tomáš ; Křiček, Jan (referee) ; Süss, Vladimír (advisor)
6 Abstract Title of work: Analysis of field hockey players'load in a match Aim: The aim of this thesis is to find out the load of field hockey players in a match and on the basis of laboratory tests to define threshold limits of heart frequencies together with topical condition of field hockey players. Method: To describe the movements of players the method of conditioned observation with no active participation was used. For heart beat frequency data acquisition electronic measuring of Polar RS400 spotters was used. For simple results a running belt load test was chosen. Results: Field hockey players move in different heart beat zones from lacrosse and rugby players. This thesis is serves as the confirmation of the average heart beat frequency given by textbooks. Key words: Field hockey, running belt load test, match analysis.

Modelování nestlačitelných ionizovaných směsí
Havrda, Jaroslav ; Roubíček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bulíček, Miroslav (referee) ; Hron, Jaroslav (referee)
In the present work we study the model of incompressible ionized mixtures from point of view of mathematical analysis and practical implementations. The model consists of the continuity equation, Navier-Stokes equations, Nernst-Planck equations and Poisson equation for the electric potential. We proove the existence of a weak solution for the model in three space dimensions. We also present a simple program for computing the solutions of Nernst-Planck equations and Poisson equation and use it to examine the problem that arrise during the computation. The results in thermodynamics of mixtures are refered as the physical part of the thesis.

Discourse analysis of global climate change. Case of emissions - argumentative strategies of actors
Cholt, Jan ; Šmídová, Olga (advisor) ; Hájek, Martin (referee)
Aim of this study is to improve understanding of practical application of public media discourse about Global climate change. Theoretical base is embedded in context of humannature relationship. My premise is that risk of global warming or global climate change is hard to sense by individuals hence dependent on expert knowledge and mediating of these thematic fields toward public, mainly by mass media. Introduced topic, or its selected part, was investigated using discourse analysis. It serves as a tool to identify and discuss patterns of thoughts, elements of argumentation and actor's strategies. They are parts - or even base - of media discourse about main topic, objects, subjects and time-space and others contexts. They are systematically coded according to discourse rules in a repeating categories and their overall configuration creates underlying concept of understanding the topic. Data for analysis consist of collection of utterances made in Czech public media discourse during period of December 2004 and June 2005. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Lipid lowering treatment substantially reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The effects of lipid lowering go far beyond limiting the extent of atheroslcerotic lesions and decreasing the severity of atherosclerotic stenoses. Recently recognised effects of cholesterol on plaque stability, endothelial function, thrombosis, and plaque inflammation have been subject to intensive research during the past two decades. The effect lipid lowering treatment on the various aspects of the plaque development are being investigated in search of novel therapies to reduce the risk of ahterosclerosis. In this work, we examined cell adhesion molecules, microvascular reactivity and metalloproteinase PAPP-A in patients with hypercholesterolemia and investigated the effect of lipid lowering with atorvastatin and LDL-apheresis. Leukocyte and endothelial adhesion molecules mediate leukocyte recruitment into subendothelial space, contributing thus to plaque inflammation. PAPP-A is a protease which has been related to plaque instability and acute coronary events; it's role in stable atherosclerotic lesions hasn't been studied yet Microvascular reactivity is supposed to reflect endothelial function in the microvascular bed; the knowledge of the effect of hyperlipidemia on microvasculature is currently limited. Patients with...

Polyfunctional building
Michna, Patrik ; Pospíšil, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fuciman, Ondřej (advisor)
The assignment of my diploma thesis was to design a polyfunctional building. Function of the building is based on the requirements of the Land Use Plan Brno, cadastral zone Židenice. The aim of the design was to improve the quality of public space in the area by creating parks, urban parterre with services, parking and by bringing missing features to the area. The building is located in the centre of the plot. The main facade is oriented to the main street. Design creates new parking on the ground and in the underground garage. On the first floor are rentable spaces for commerce and services. At 2nd and 3rd floor are open space offices with the possibility of spatial variability solutions. Architectural expression of the building is simple, consisting as a compact mass with parterre subsided, useful in terms of energetical sustainability. The facade of the building is made as a combination of a transparent double skin facade and opaque ventilated facade with fibre cement panels. Structural system is a precast concrete frame with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete shear core. Foundation is made as a reinforced concrete pads and strips. Ceiling is made of a precast prestressed hollow core slabs.
