The theoretical part describes anatomy of hip joint, it's bones, muscles, ligaments, nerves and blood supply of the hip joint. Information about kinesiological and biomechanical point of view were discussed as well. In the practical part I analyzed procedures I have done with the patient, all examinations, conclusions, therapies and results. Last part of the bachelor thesis it contains list of literature used in the bachelor thesis, it contains list of figures and tables used in the thesis, abbreviations and the ethics committee. Work placement: Oblastní Nemocnice Kladno Summary: In the thesis, I will be covering a case study diagnosed with ischemic cerebrovascular accident (stroke) in the pons. It will be divided into 2 parts ( General - Practical) The general part explains the anatomical, biomechanical ,physiological and neurophysiological point view of the brain and brain stem corresponding to the object's diagnosis. The practical part shows the procedure of the treatment starting from the initial examinations with its conclusion, also the goal of the therapy, short and long rehabilitation plan and with day to day therapy sessions and the final examinations with its conclusion, the results of the therapy procedure, and the effectiveness of the treatment. Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis Shoulder Luxation Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou luxace ramenního kloubu Author: Emmanouil Kassakis This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, the general part and the special part. In the general part, it is included all the theoretical information about my patient's diagnosis. Specifically, the theoretical part is composed by the basic anatomy of the shoulder joint including muscles, joint, ligaments and bones. Then the biomechanical and kinesiological field. Furthermore, it is explained in details how the shoulder luxation injury is it possible to happen. Secondly, the special part which is the most important part of the bachelor thesis, it is composed by the whole information, examinations, therapy sessions and results of my patient. It is explained in details and in pictures of the patient during her therapy sessions as well. There were performed to the patient about 7 therapies sessions. Starting from Wednesday 5 February 2014 and ending on Friday 14 February 2014. Each therapy session is explained in details including the procedure and the results as well. Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of Total Endoprothesis of Hip Název: Kazuistika fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s diagnózou totální endoprotéza kyčelního kloubu Summary The abstract of my study concerns the treatment of the case of a patient who had an operation of total endoprothesis of hip on the right hip joint, caused by osteoarthritis. My practice was performed at Ústřední Vojenská Nemocnice. My Bachelor Thesis is divided in two parts: 1) Theoretical part 2) Practical part. The first part is the theoretical one which consists of a brief description of the anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of the hip which helps for better understanding of the mechanism of total endoprothesis of hip. Additionally, description of the osteoarthritis which caused the operation is mentioned. Also there is information about every detail related to total endoprothesis of hip. On the other most important part of this thesis, the second part is the practical one which includes the anamnesis and the kinesiologic examinations of the patient, after total endoprothesis of hip caused by osteoarthritis. Title: Case study of diagnosis of Anterior Cruciate Ligament surgery Author: Chartosias Pavlos Aim: In the thesis I will be analyzed the function and the mechanism of the knee joint, understanding the kinesiology relation with the Anterior Cruciate Ligament, focusing on the main principles and procedures of the therapy and rehabilitation after one day of surgery. Methods: The therapy included five meetings with the patient during two weeks of clinical practice. The patient had physiotherapy in the morning at the same time. The main goal for the first five days after surgery was to archive as bigger Range Of Motion was possible in the operated knee joint, remove the pain, strength and relax a group of muscles, mobilized any blocked joint and educate the patient how to use the crutches physiological and how can be independent as much possible. Results: Our therapeutic relation between me and the patient was perfect. After five days of therapy my patient archives 50 degrees flexion in the operated knee joint from 0 at the first day. Her doctor was very satisfy, that's why he indicated to her that she is able to go home after the fifth day of my therapy because my therapy was effectiveness and the results were positive. Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis of Total Hip Replacement

The abstract of my study concerns the treatment of the case of my patient who had an operation of total hip replacement on the right hip joint, caused by post dysplastic arthrosis. My practice was performed at Fakultni Nemocnice Kralovske Vinohrady. Physiotherapy program started on Tuesday 29th of January 2013 and ended on Friday 1st of February 2013. My Bachelor Thesis is divided in two parts: 1) Theoretical part 2) Practical part. In the theoretical part I analyse everything concerning the hip joint, muscles, joints, bones, ligaments, nerves as well as the biomechanical and kinesiological point of view of the hip joint. In the practical part I analyse every procedure I have done with my patient, all the examinations, conclusions, therapies and results. The patient was operated at OTK FNKV hospital at 22nd of January. Goals of the therapy was to decrease pain and edema, increase range of motion of the movement, increase mobility and elasticity of skin and also improve strength of the operated right hip according to the examinations I provided to the practical part. After the five sessions improvements were detected in the final kinesiologic examination. Case study of a patient with postoperative of patella tension

Objective: The aim of this Bachelor Thesis research is based on understanding the functional features of the knee joint, the mechanism of patella fracture and focusing on the main principles and procedures of the therapy before reconstruction. Methods: The study lasted for a period of two weeks. The rehabilitation plan which was executed during the two weeks for five sessions went accordingly. Range of motion exercises, PIR as well as sensomotoric and and proprioreceptive stimulation exercises were performed on each day, including mobilization of restricted joints and strengthening and stretching exercises for weak and short muscles respectively. Results: After the five therapeutic sessions, I took a final kinesiological examination in order to compare the results with the initial examination and the results showed an increase in the range of motion of the knee in both extension and flexion. Vliv kinesiotapu na rozsah pohybu při flexi trupu měřené ze stoje

Název práce: Vliv kinesiotapu na rozsah pohybu při flexi trupu měřené ze stoje Cíle práce: Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit, zda má kinesiotaping aplikovaný na paravertebrální svalstvo bederní páteře vliv na rozsah pohybu při flexi trupu ze stoje. Dalším cílem je vyloučit možný placebo efekt aplikací kontrolního materiálu stejným způsobem. Metoda: Data potřebná pro praktickou část práce byla získána na základě experimentálního měření, kdy kinesiotape byl aplikován na paravertebrální svalstvo bederní páteře a hodnotila se změna rozsahu pohybu do flexe trupu ze stoje. K měření byla využita Thomayerova a Schoberova zkouška. Kontrolní skupina byla měřena obdobným způsobem s materiálem fixomull, který má podobné vlastnosti jako kinesiotape. Data byla zpracována pomocí MS Excel a v programu Gretl. Výsledky: Statisticky signifikantní výsledky prokazují, že kinesiotape má vliv na zvýšení rozsahu pohybu do flexe trupu s průměrnou hodnotou 2,24 cm (t(24) = 2,86, p <0,05) v celkovém rozsahu a 0,51 cm (t(24) = 0,67, p <0,05) pro lokální efekt v místě aplikace kinesiotapu. Měření s fixomullem neprokázalo signifikantní výsledky, ale naznačují, že jeho vliv na zvýšení rozsahu pohybu je sporný. Klíčová slova: kinesiotaping, taping, kinesiotape, rozsah pohybu, flexe trupu

Spontaneous activity of lower limbs in a vertical position in the aquatic environment

Názov: Spontánna činnosť dolných končatín vo vertikálnej polohe vo vodnom prostredí Ciele: Cieľom tejto práce bolo overiť, či spontánna činnosť dolných končatín vo vodnom prostredí umožní určiť preferovaný pohybový vzor jedinca a tým aj plavecký spôsob, a či sú identifikované asymetrie dolných končatín pri tomto pohybe závislé od pasívneho rozsahu pohybu v bedrových kĺboch. Metóda: Spontánny pohyb dolných končatín vo vertikálnej polohe s rukami a hlavou nad vodnou, bol zaznamenávaný na videozáznam. Pasívny pohyb bol meraný v bedrovom kĺbe do flexie, extenzie, abdukcie, extra/intrarotácie pomocou mechanického dvojramenného goniometra. Kvalitatívna analýza spontánneho pohybu dolných končatín natočeného na videozázname prebehla pomocou programu Kinovea 0.8.15. Výsledky: Podľa výsledkov našej práce nie je možné povedať, že preferovaný plavecký spôsob sa dá určiť na základe spontánnej činnosti dolných končatín vo vertikálnej polohe vo vodnom prostredí. Môžeme predpokladať, že proband si zvolil daný spôsob šliapania vody podľa energetickej náročnosti a efektivity pohybu a nie na základe preferovaného plaveckého spôsobu. U všetkých probandov sa ukázala stranová asymetria pri pohybe vo vode, avšak u bilaterálne symetrických pohybových vzorov bola táto asymetria najvýraznejšia. U každého probanda sa našla...
