Vliv dřevinné skladby a stáří lesních porostů na složení hnízdních ornitocenóz
Neoralová, Kateřina
This thesis evaluates the influence of selected stand characteristics of deciduous forest on the composition of nesting ornithocenosis. Especially the influence of the composition of forest stand age and structure and abundance of cavity trees. Using the point counting method, composition of nesting birds has been found on 50 census points located systematically in the stands of different ages and with different tree composition (mainly various presence of European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) and oak (Quercus spp.)). There were 1119 birds in total belonging to 38 species. It turned out that the presence of oak in vegetation affects the numbers of Finches, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Blue Tits, Blackbirds, Golden Orioles, Cuckoos and Wood Pigeons. Presence of beech in forests affected some bird species with the opposite trend to the presence of oak in most cases. The number of species and individuals and diversity of bird communities at the census points increased with increasing presence of oak and decreased with the presence of beech. Stand age and spatial structure appeared to be an important factor in the occurrence of some bird species. The highest number of species has been recorded in the old stands. Cavity trees appeared primarily in old forests and had an impact on the presence of the Collared Flycatcher, Nuthatch, Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler. Generally, diversity and the number of species and individuals increased with the number of cavity trees. Nesting densities were calculated. Birds with the highest brood densities were Chaffinch, Great Tit, Nuthatch, Blue Tit, Chiffchaff and Great Spotted Woodpecker. Decreased abundance of ornithofauna during the nesting season has also been shown.

The long-term trends in numbers and distribution of birds in the Czech Republic
Gebauer Fialová, Adéla ; Musil, Petr (advisor) ; Fuchs, Roman (referee)
The long-term changes in distribution and numbers of bird species in the Czech Republic were analysed using published data from Breeding Birds Atlases in the Czech Republic (1973-77, 1985-89 and 2001-03). Each species were categorized by taxonomical group, migratory strategies, biogeography type, breeding habitat, breeding population size in Europe and in the Czech Republic a body size. The changes in numbers and changes in distribution were inter-correlated Increase in distribution as well as in numbers were recorded in rare and large species, in species increasing in whole Europe and in bird species protected under Czech legislation. Interesting pattern in population was found in waterbirds, where piscivorous species are increasing, whereas other (mostly grebes, ducks etc.) species are decreasing.

Concise history of book culture in China: from the earliest written records to the 11th century A.D.
Macek, Petr ; Černá, Milena (advisor) ; Pálka, Peter (referee)
Bakalářská práce podává stručný přehled dějin čínské knižní kultury od nejstarších písemných památek do rozvoje tisku z pohyblivých typů, tedy do 11. stol. n. l. Práce je rozdělena na základě způsobu zaznamenání informací (tj. podle použitého materiálu a podle metody zápisu) do tří logicky na sebe navazujících celků. První pojednává o knižní kultuře před vynálezem papíru, a tedy zahrnuje nejdelší období - z toho důvodu je první části věnováno nejvíce místa. Druhý celek zachycuje dobu objevu papíru spolu s dobou tisku z dřevěných desek. Poslední, třetí část, pak stručně pojednává o tisku z pohyblivých typů a vzrůstající knižní produkci, neboť s rozvojem knihtisku dochází i k nárůstu tištěných knih. Na úplný konec je uveden výčet knižních katastrof, ke kterým v průběhu čínských dějin došlo. Cílem práce je seznámit veřejnost s dějinami knižní kultury v Číně (do 11 stol. n. l.).

Study of diversity of weed communities in wide row crops in Podkrkonoší Region
Kocour, David ; Kolářová, Michaela (advisor) ; Václav, Václav (referee)
The main aim of the master's thesis was an assessment of weed communities in Podkrkonosi Region (the area underneath the Giant Mountains) (Pokrkonosi). The effect of the crop (maize, potatoes) and altitude with a particular focus on thermophilic weed specieshas been investigated. The theoretical part outlines weed species referring to their significance, classification, harmfulness as well as benefits. The effect of climate changes, invasive plants, biodiversity and effect of temperature are discussed. Last part of the literary review is a brief description of model crops. In the practical part of the thesis, soil and climate conditions of the locality are described. Furthermore, a term phytocoenology is introduced and the methodology of recording relevés and the data conversion are explained. Totally, 99 weed species out of 25 families were found (69 in maize, 85 in potatoes). Chenopodium album agg., Echinochloa crus-galli and Fallopia convolvulus were the most frequent species in maize. The species with the highest cover were Fallopia convolvulus, Chenopodium album agg. and Echinochloa crus-galli. Chenopodium album agg., Echinochloa crus-galli and Viola arvensis were the most frequent in potatoes. Chenopodium album agg., Fallopia convolvulus, Echinochloa crus-galli and Galinsoga quadriradiata can be classified as the weeds with the highest cover. Euphorbia helioscopia and Sonchus arvensis were positively correlated with increasing altitude, while Amaranthus retroflexus, Solanum nigrum and Galinsoga quadriradiata were negatively correlated. Thlaspi arvense and Echinochloa crus-galli were characteristic species in maize, and Veronica persica, Galinsoga quadriradiata and Sonchus arvensis in potatoes. It can be concluded that potatoes fields showed higher species richness than maize, especially in higher altitudes. Maize was characterized by narrow weed spectrum with few predominating species. The tested hypothesis was confirmed and a statistically significant effect of altitude on the occurrence of thermophilic weed species has been found.

Countermeasures of power analysis
Gerlich, Tomáš ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
Side channels affect a security of the cryptographic systems, due to it is necessary to focus on implementation of the algorithm. There are mention basic classification of side channels in the beginning of the work. The following chapter describes types of countermeasures against side channel attack, which the most emphasis on masking, because of possible implementations on existing cryptosystems. Masking techniques are introduces in the following chapter, where is a description of their method of masking, treatment of cipher and their resistance against attack. The practical part describes the measurements that are trying to record the power consumption of the microcontroller. Measurement was designed to examine primarily on information leakage through power side channel.

Bats of the genus Plecotus in the fossil record of central and SE Europe.
Balážová, Alena ; Horáček, Ivan (advisor) ; Hanák, Vladimír (referee)
In this thesis a review and detailed morphometric analysis of fossil material of genus Plecotus Geoffroy, 1818 (Microchiroptera) from central Europe from miocene till recent was done. Both metric and phenetic features of skull ant teeth were compared with recent european species of this genus. The most detailed attention was focused on fossil species Plecotus abeli Wettstein-Westersheim 1923, which is most likely only an extreme phenotypic variety of Plecotus auritus group. Fossil record from Karlukovo (Bulgaria) was studied too. The first record of Plecotus macrobullaris Kuzjakin, 1965 was found there.

Active Listening In Music Teaching Along With Its Technical Background
Šplíchalová, Hana ; Bělohlávková, Petra (referee) ; Herden, Jaroslav (advisor)
The topic ofmy thesis is an active listening in music teaching along with its technical background. The theoretical part starts with the development of listening at school. In the following chapters the theory of active listening, including its single phases, is elaborated. The theoretical part of the thesis is concluded by chapter about the technical background, which introduces technical utilities such as CD player, interactive boards, electronic keyboard or musical computer programs. The practical part of thesis contains of two methodical examples of working with the computer during a music lesson, which shows how a modem technology, especially musical computer programs, can be used in active preparation as well as in the listening itself. The first example works with Sibelius computer notation system cultivating Smetana's symphonic poem from Ma vlast cycle. The second methodical example thematically connects to the first illustration. It is based upon individual creative activity of students with a Sound Forge program where are the students due to remake Smetana's Vltava in an avant-garde way. Both examples are drawn up so the students would understand how phraseology contributes to the final mode of music. Third methodical example is actually an excursion to a musical recording studio which...
