Methodology for investigation of sex crimes (selected issues) Summary This diploma thesis called Methodology for investigation of sex crimes (selected issues) is focused on making the united methodology for rape investigation, pointing out the most important factors that influence knowledge of crime of rape using my own research and comparison of secondary victimization before and after the new victim`s rights act. I chose this theme because of it`s relevancy. I also had a good access to the court and to files. The thesis is divided into eleven chapters. First ten chapters are more theorecital and the last one is focused on my own research and analysis of results. First chapter deals with the theoretical aspects of rape. First part is focused on the history of this crime, second part is focused on the current criminal aspects of rape and third part is focused on the criminological aspects of rape. Second chapter is focused on criminal characteristic of rape, which is very important for the future investigation. It mainly contains information about the offender. Third to ninth chapters are focused on object of rape investigation, stimulus to investigation, typical investigative situations, frequent criminal actions and methods used during the rape investigation. Frauds in accounting

The subject of this bachelor thesis I have chosen relates to frauds in accounting. As far as I am concerned I consider this topic to be highly attractive and rewarding. The thesis starts with a detailed description of frauds in accountig followed by some actual cases like Enron, World com, etc. The following section refers to main pillars of the Sarbanes Oxley act, its implications and impacts. It also involves the reaction of the European Union, especially introducing the 4th directive. The summary and generalization of this bachelor thesis is provided in the conclusion.

French idioms containing proper nouns and their Czech equivalents

The theme of the presented bachelor thesis are French idioms containing proper nouns and their Czech equivalents. The first part of this thesis provides an introduction to the principles and foundations of phraseology and idiomatics. Firstly, the basic terminology is defined and then the main formal and semantic characteristics of phrasemes and idioms are described. The second part analyses selected sample of onomastic idioms from formal, semantic and translatological aspect. This thesis aims at finding Czech equivalents for French idioms and evaluate the level of their equivalence.

Investment costs of wooden structures

The aim of this thesis is to compare the costs for the construction of various construction systems wooden buildings. The first part deals with the historical and contemporary construction systems wooden structures and materials that are used in these buildings. Details are discussed in the work of the wood, its properties and uses in the construction industry. Another chapter deals with the pricing, kinds of budgets and costs. In the end of the technical characteristics listed buildings. Practical work in the introduction describes the layout and construction of selected timber, which is then compared with log technology. The comparison is done from several perspectives. First they are compared and evaluated their quality characteristics. A chapter about the cost of delivery and installation of individual houses from the perspective of works HSV and PSV. As the last are compared to the cost of individual construction and then the total cost of construction, operation and disposal of buildings. The conclusion is a summary evaluation of the results obtained.

Terminative and resultative verbal periphrasis in Spanish and Portuguese

This diploma thesis is dedicated to the topic of Terminative and resultative verbal periphrasis in Spanish and Portuguese and is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the first part, we give a general summary and classification of verbal periphrasis with an emphasis on the terminative and resultative ones. Included with the theoretical description there is also a subchapter about the situation in the Czech language which mainly discusses the question of verbal aspect. Subsequently, the theoretical results are compared in the second part of this work which is dedicated to a corpus analysis. We outline the frequency of chosen periphrasis in corpus in different types of documents but also the Czech translations. For this purpose, we were working with a parallel corpus InterCorp, more precisely Spanish and Portuguese subcorpus, but also with monolingual Spanish corpus CREA and monolingual Portuguese corpus Corpus do Português. In this part we have chosen the following periphrasis for the analysis: tener + participle, llevar + participle, estar + participle and salir + participle in Spanish and ter + participle, ficar + participle and sair + participle in Portuguese. In both languages we have chosen both active and passive resultative periphrasis.

High school timetabling using multicriteria linear programming

The theme of this thesis is high school timetabling. The built mathematical model is based on bivalent programming. The model uses multicriteria linear programming too, because a timetable has to fill legal and school's requests and student's and teacher's wishes. Firstly, there are given theoretical basics. Then there is described economic model with school's characteristics and it continues by mathematical model. For optimization, tool MPL for Windows with using Gurobi. Finally, export of optimization is transferred using VBA to form for end users.

Development of accounting in Slovakia

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the theme of development of accounting in Slovakia. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The aim of the first chapter is to define the complex accounting system and provide the basic understanding of this area. The second part chronologically describes the historical process of formation and development of accounting system in generally. It is also devoted to important milestones in the evolution of Slovak accounting legislation, which is terminated by summary of currently valid legal standards. The third chapter follows the topic and it focuses on the international harmonization within the European Community. The last and final section deals with practical view on accounting. It shows accounting statements requirements and changes in legislation following the implementation of EU Council Directive. These changes are attributed to the harmonization process, which the Slovak republic is a part of.

Dostoevsky's Double and it's film version

This thesis‘s primary concern is the novel ‚Double‘ by F. M. Dostoevsky and it’s film adaptation by Richard Ayoade. Firstly it focuses on the novel’s literary predecessors. The major interest of the very analysis of The Double is it‘s main figure – mr. Goljadkin. It also tries to point out the challenges of the potential adaptation. Then it attempts to grasp the fundamental ,shift‘, that the director Ayoade carried out while making the Double a movie. The last part of the Thesis contains a theme for the author’s original film version of the Double.

Opportunities for human capital development

Summary Bachelor thesis is focused on the theme of human capital and its possibilities for development. The aim is to assess the current level of human capital in a selected company, which for these purposes has become an engineering company, and identify the degree of motivation for its development. The theoretical part of his introduction discusses the history of the development of the issue and then the whole issue was explored deeper in terms of development opportunities, level of motivation, education or investments and costs in human capital. In the analytical part they were applied their theoretical knowledge. In selected engineering firm was carried out a survey on a selected group of respondents among blue-collar occupations, whose purpose was to obtain sufficient information to assess the level of human capital and then suggest possible solutions to promote motivation to develop human capital by employers.

The Analysis of Manager´s Directing Style in Administration

This Diploma work characterizes managerial styles of the managers in public administration. It is divided into two structure parts. In a theoretic level, the work introduces and describes themes such as management, manager, managerial positions, managerial functions, management styles, communications, motivation, delegation and public administration. In the own part of Diploma work the knowledge from a theoretic part is applied to analyse the management style in public administration. The analysis was made by a controlled interview with chosen managers. From these controlled interviews the information was taken, from which was prepared a summary and a recommendation. In these interviews each manager evaluated his own manager style. On the basis of results from these interviews the manager style was classified to each manager. After that everything was commented and the recommendations were declared, how to practise the manager style to the best final labour effect.
