How the fifth graders work with a fairytale text
Mračková, Jana ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Chrz, Vladimír (referee)
The object of my diploma thesis was fairy tale narration of children in fifth classes of primary school. The main point was to refer to the structural belongings of fairy tale narration and to identify basic parts of the story telling. There were used two types of narration. First of them, reproductive, involved re-telling of two chosen fairy tales: The Bluebeard (Modrovous) and The Nix and his salve (Hastrmanova mast). The second type of narration was productive story telling of random fairy tale. In this type the chosen fairy tale was just upon the individual children's selection. The analyzed material consisted in sum of 33 narrated stories. Obtained narrations were analysed according to the V.J. Propp's functions of acting people. Propp's theory and his list of 31 functions of acting people were main resources to the experimental part of my diploma thesis. According to the analyses summary certain results have benn found out. At first it showed, that the main structure of children's story telling consists of 24 types of different functions. Children don't use the full list of 31 specified functions and concern to some of them. Certain types of functions were absent in both types of story tellings. But in between these used 24 types of functions the main structure of the story was always present. It...

Important roles of heme as a signal and a gas-sensing site: heme-sensing and gas-sensing proteins
Fojtíková, Veronika ; Martínková, Markéta (advisor) ; Hudeček, Jiří (referee)
Heme-containing sensor proteins are heme proteins, which are divided into two groups: heme-sensing and gas-sensing proteins. The function of heme-sensing proteins is affected by heme availability. Association (or dissociation) of heme moiety of heme-sensing protein regulates various physiological functions, including protein kinase activity, transcription and other important functions essential for cell survival. In gas-sensing proteins, heme acts as the sensing site for binding of gaseous molecules (including O2, NO and CO) and indirectly regulates physiological functions, including protein kinase activity, transcription and other important functions essential for cell survival. The recent studies on heme-containing senzor proteins published in scientific journals are summarized in this thesis. The experimental part of this thesis focused on the specific heme-containing sensor protein - a globin-coupled histidine kinase from Anaeromyxobacter sp. strain Fw 109-5 (AfGcHK). The aim of this thesis was to amplified and isolate plasmid carrying gen for AfGcHK. Consequently the protein was expressed in E.coli BL-21(DE3) and the protein was isolated. Based on the results, the isolation process was optimized. Moreover, the purified preparation of isolated AfGcHK was prepared in more than 99% of homogeneity....

Tučková, Markéta ; Špaňhelová, Šárka (referee) ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor)
This thesis deals with the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on stability of the pacients suffering from hereditary neuropathy. In the review of knowledges there is presented the part about hereditary neuropathies, it's classification, clinical symptoms and diagnostics. The second part of the review is about the stability and it's determination. The last part is dedicated to Vojta's reflex locomotion. In experimental part, there is presented studies, which evaluates the influence of Vojta's reflex locomotion on the sensitive functiones (discrimination, texture perception, vibration perception) and the postural stability (using Balance Master system) in the two groups of the pacients suffering from hereditary neuropathy. The first groupe was measured before and after Vojta's therapy and the second groupe (control one) was measured in the same way, but without therapy. Consequently, the basic statistic indicators of gained set of data were calculated. As a conclusion, there has been some changes before and after therapy in sensitive functiones (vibrations perception, discrimination) and postural function and one test of postural stability in the group of patients threated with Vojta's reflex therapy, compared to control group. Photon strength functuins in 160Tb from two-step gamma cascade measurement
Kroll, Jiří ; Cejnar, Pavel (referee) ; Krtička, Milan (advisor)
Title: Photon strength functions in nucleus 160 Tb from the two-step γ cascades measurements Author: Jiří Kroll Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Supervisor: Mgr. Milan Krtička, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: krticka@ipnp.troja.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Photon strength functions have been a subject of a study for more than fifty years. A number of models was proposed to describe experimental data during that time. However, the correctness of these models is still very questionable and its verification is the subject of very intensive experimental and theoretical activity at the present time. In the present work the analysis of measurements of the two-step γ cascades following the slow neutron capture on the 159 Tb nucleus is used for study of photon strength functions. Results of the experimental data analysis are compared with the outputs of the Monte Carlo simulations based on the validity of so called Extreme Statistical Model. Comparison of experimental data with outcomes of simulations thus becomes the basic tool for studying correctness of theoretical models. Keywords: Photon strength function, Energy level density, Extreme Statistical Model

Design of filters in current, voltage and hybrid modes with OA, using autonomous curcuits
Jašek, František ; Minarčík, Martin (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis describes the procedure of design of frequency filters with operational amplifier using autonomous circuit. At first there is the procedure of an inference common and autonomous circuits with operational amplifier, of which they are follow on derived know and unknown engagement of frequency filters in voltage, current and hybrid mode. In all these inference frequency filters were determine a transmission function, according them is evidently about which frequency filters is discussed (low pass, high pass, band pass, band stop). The derived filter circuits are then selected two unknown involvement, which is set out in detail the procedure in the design of the frequency filter. Both suggestion circuits was verified by a simulation which results are noticed in this thesis and sequentially was made an experimental verified by mounting product in SMD. On this product was made a metering of a transmission and phase frequency characterization which was recorded in the graph. In fine there is a description of propriety of suggestion frequency filters for a practically use in this production.

Judlová, Tereza ; Horáček, Ondřej (referee) ; Haberlová, Jana (advisor)
The diploma thesis "Decreased Ankle Joint Dorsal Flexion as Initial Symptom of Children with CMT 1A Disease" is concerned with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and its early symptoms in children. The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the knowledge about the CMT disease on the basis of a research of available literature and it particularly focuses on specific characteristics of the disease in children patients, initial symptoms of the disease, development of the disease in childhood and the importance of functional changes of the ankle join in patients diagnosed with CMT 1A disease. The experimental part of the paper analyses initial symptoms of ten children in age range from 3 to 10 years diagnosed with CMT 1A disease. The thesis further critically evaluates the heel standing test as an easy diagnostic method in the early stages of the CMT 1A disease available for children from three years of age. The research also includes qualitative analysis of initial symptoms and comparison of the experimental results with a control group. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Hypoxia of the brain as well as the subsequent reperfusion can seriously alter the tissue microenvironment and result of the functional and structural changes of nerve and glial cells. Results of experimental studies show that some ions (e.g. Mg2+) can interfere with the brain development. To answer the question whether magnesium can modulate changes of neuronal circuits induced by hypoxia and reperfusion effect of magnesium administration on the density of nitrergic neurons (NO synthesising neurons) in the rats exposed to repeated hypoxia during the postnatal ontogeny (12, 25, and 35-day-old) was studied. NO synthesising neurons were identified according to the presence of NADPH-diaphorase (NADPH-d), the enzyme co-localized with NO synthase. Results have shown that the long-lasting intermittent hypobaric hypoxia brings about the increase of the density of NADPH-diaphorase positive neurons in all studied regions of the hippocampus in 12-day-old animals, in 25-day-old only in the hilus of the dentate gyrus, and in 35-day-old in CA1, CA3 hippocampal regions and in the ventral blade of the dentate gyrus. Contrary to that, decreased density of nitrergic neurons was found in groups of animals exposed to hypoxia till the age of 25 days in both blades of the dentate gyrus and in 35 days in the ventral blade and...

Vomočil, Vojtěch ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Kazelle, Jiří (advisor)
This theis deals with the general overview of the piezoelectric theory, focused both on the mathematical description and on the attributes of piezoelectric materials. It further focuses on the description of piezoelectric resonators with a more detailed explantation of their equivalent scheme and measurement methods of its single elements. The practical part of the thesis rests on the proposal of a measurement apparatus which will serve to measuring the equivalent circuit piezoelectric resonator elements. The realization of the apparatus and its functionality testing are described. In the experimental part of the thesis, the measured rates are processed and levels of the electric equivalent circuit elements of the used piesoelectric resonator for the basic and the two higher closest resonance frequency are set. The measured results are compiled into a standard measurement protocol. This thesis should place basics to the growing laboratory. It should also be a source of necessary theoretical and practical information for this lab.
