Role of radiological assistant by angiografic procedures
EISNER, Tomáš
Angiography as an X - ray examination of blood vessels showed an expressive development since its creation. From translumbal puncture of the abdominal aorta up to more tender Seldinger technique it led to considerable decrease of occurrence of peripro-cedural complications. Angiographic interventions and involved materials, instrumenta-tion devices and image processing possibilities are expressively improving. Invasive an-giopraphic examinations are substituted by non-invasive interventions like ultrasonogra-phy, magnetic resonance or computer tomography. After all they remain integral part of examination algorithms, especially by vessels interventions. A common note of invasive procedures in Cath-lab - in addition to diagnostics also by an intravascular ultrasonography or by therapeutical procedures like percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, stent implantation, vessels embolisation, trombolysis and trombectomy and other {--} is using of fluoroscopy with ionizing radiation and intravascular application of a contrast medium. Radiologic assistant has its more and more unsubstitutable role by diagnostic im-aging of vessels. Radiologic assistant has to be familiar with course of single intervention and with sequence of doctor{\crq}s operations, in order to be able to fulfill his requirements in time and at the same time he has to understand possible risk of complication's and he has to know how to respond to them properly and in time. Further he must well manage an-giography device and all its parts and know postprocessing picture adjustment. Quality work of radiologic assistant should have fundamental influence on dose of ionizing radiation for patient and for examining staff and on consumption and risks of application of contrast medium. By my own experiences with assistance by 4 628 non-coronary and 14 620 coro-nary angiographic examinations in last 10 years (1997-2006) I found set of 40 patients who were examined by pulse and continual fluoroscopy during angiography of lower limbs arteries at Cardio angiographic department of Faculty hospital in Motol. Conclusions make out advantage of pulse fluoroscopy, of digital postprocessing of images iclusive of 3D imaging and they confirmed hypothesis of ionizing radiation{\crq}s dose and carload of contrast medium. By conclusions of this work I suggest to take care of new imaging technics by invasive digital angiography and insert these knowledges to system of lifelong learning of radiologic assistants.

Parallel XML parsing
Stráník, Tomáš ; Bednárek, David (referee) ; Yaghob, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis describes an analysis and a method of construction of a parallel parser exploiting an advantage of multi-core CPU. The parallelism is based on splitting of an XML document on arbitrary parts, which are then parsed by the cores of CPU. A part of this work is also implementation of the algorithm. Further, the quality of the algorithm was experimentally tested on a computer with 16 cores in its CPUs. The tests con rmed excellent scalability of the algorithm. At the end, an enhancement of the algorithm on parsing XML documents with XML namespaces is also suggested.

Digital Reconstructed Radiography
Chovanec, Andrej ; Krajíček, Václav (referee) ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor)
X-ray examination is an important part of the medical treatment. Despite all the advantages it introduces, it brings some limitations as well. In the present work we describe a technique that from the acquired CT data reconstructs a digital x-ray image and removes some drawbacks of traditional x-ray screening. Among the most significant improvements over the classical radiography belong generation of the screen from very arbitrary angle and interactive rotation of the image in real-time. In order to obtain the most realistic final image, we put the emphasis on the accurate simulation of physical properties of the x-ray radiation. We also try to get as low computational time needed to gain one image as possible. For this purpose we present a parallelization model that decomposes the required work of some components into several processors' cores and thus noticeably decreases the running time of the algorithm.

Rozšíření SOA do platformy Cloud Computing
Qylafku, Denis ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Toman, David (referee)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to introduce cloud computing as an alternative to traditional internal information technology and its benefits for a company. Diploma thesis focuses on three main goals. The first one concerns advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing in comparison to internal information technology. The second one is identification of possible processes and services available for migration into cloud computing. The third goal of the diploma thesis is development of investment analysis which compares not only initial costs on internal information technology and cloud computing, but also costs of both variants within three years. The main contribution of the diploma thesis is to define whether the cloud computing is economically beneficial for the company or not. The argument for categorizing cloud computing is in the reason that the company does not have to use all services within the cloud computing but only these, which the company considers as the most beneficial from cost and operation point of view. Another contribution of the diploma thesis is deployment of data, services and processes into a chosen cloud computing platform. Investment analysis allows through cost comparison of both options understand whether it is more beneficial to choose cloud computing or internal Information Technology platform. During this decision making the company also considers its business character and the fact whether the company operates locally or globally.

Information society - risks and needs to ensure user´s use of eGovernment and electronic services in Czech republic
Host, Daniel ; Doucek, Petr (advisor) ; Fischer, Roman (referee)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to an overview of potential risks and threats emerging to citizen (considered in this term as user) as a part of information society. These threats are possible to come across with using public administration information systems or electronic systems and services provided by private sector subjects. For establishing and developing information society were accepted several state information politics which were further supported by passing laws. Theses also gives the list with some state institutions which arose and are based on chosen laws related to information society, securing and protecting citizens' electronic identity from misuse. In further sections, there are public administration information systems described, also their principle and contribution for citizens, overview of chosen web-applications and services of eGovernment with overview of web-services of private sector institutions that can be met by citizen (user) on the Internet. In most cases, "common" user of services available on the Internet is not aware enough of potential risks and threats that he can come across. Therefore it's important for any user wanting to take advantages of services of public administration or private sector to have a certain amount of knowledge that will help user prevent such threats and risks. List of most common threats for user is also provided with explanation of how the user's computer can be infiltrated or attacked. For preventing infiltration and attacks are usually required special programs. Thesis gives a brief manual for user of most common programs each focused on chosen threat with some practical pieces of advice.

Project teaching
Baranová, Michaela ; Prokop, Jiří (referee) ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (advisor)
Thesis - Project teaching - composes of the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes the most important aspects of the theme ranging from the history, the advantages and disadvantages, the project typology to the teacher's role in this teaching method. The practical part deals with the creation and execution of the project itself. The Anti-drug plan is the subject for the personality social education, but it also provides enough opportunities for handling information from different sources. The output of the project is focused on the ability to take one's bearing in the branch pertinent to our modern life - computer science, particularly in terms of the competence and skills needed for the use of multimedia technique. The project may also contribute to the linkage of theoretical knowledge with the pupils' personal experience. The project is fit for the classes at the time when pupils take their bearing in the basic terminology and areas relating to drugs and the above-mentioned computer science.

Visualization in vector spaces
Klímek, Jakub ; Hladík, Milan (referee) ; Fiala, Jiří (advisor)
The goal was to create a set of Java applets, which would serve as an addition to the teaching of Linear algebra. These applets make possible to compute with rational numbers, real numbers, complex numbers and Zp - integers modulo prime p using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It is also possible to compute with vectors of elements of those spaces using addition and subtraction of vectors and multiplication and division by scalar. In addition, the vector calculator can figure coordinates of a vector, determine a linearly independent subset of vectors and, when in standard scalar product space, figure an orthogonal projection onto a subspace generated by a set of vectors. The advantage of these applets is their ease of use simulating a classical handheld calculator.
