Stress-strain analysis of the safety frame of the racing car
Kolivošková, Veronika ; Man, Vojtěch (referee) ; Novák, Kamil (advisor)
Topic of this bachelor thesis is the recherché and following deformation-stress analysis of the race car safety cage. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first one is about the introduction of analysis itself and the FIA regulations for homologation static load tests of the race car safety constructions. The second part describes analytical and numerical approach to the deformation-stress solution of a main arch in historical formula 1 car Ferrari 1512. The outputs of these two approaches which were then compared to determine their accuracy and result verification. On this example was executed the contact analysis which was applied in the last part of the thesis. After receiving the results and conclusions from the basic example, the last part deals with the real safety frame model of Subaru Impreza Sti N15. This chapter presents the most important part of the thesis. On the model were executed three static test simulations which have to comply with FIA regulations. The task was solved with FEM modeling.

Estimation of the passive and active waste in public procurement in the Slovak Republic
Bachan, Milan ; Pavel, Jan (advisor) ; Zídková, Hana (referee)
The main object of this thesis is to estimate the waste in public procurement in Slovakia and estimate its active and passive components. The first part offers a theoretical explanation of legislation related to public procurement, as well as a theoretical explanation of active and passive waste. In the next section there is a brief description of similar study, which estimated the waste of public procurement in Italy. In the second part, which is empirical, there is a analysis of the results of public contracts related to construction work. Data were obtained from the electronic database of Public Procurement Office in Slovakia. From these data I created a regression model obtained by the method of least squares. The aim was to determine the truth of the hypothesis that if the contracts awarded through the procurement of external agencies, the procurement process becomes more efficient. The analysis did not confirm the truth of this hypothesis and thus I could not estimate the amount of passive and active waste. The results obtained from regression analysis were then used to estimate the amount of waste in the case of public procurement related to construction of residential buildings, reconstruction of schools and the revitalization of public spaces, when the public purchaser was the city or village. This analysis also estimates the percentage of the waste of public procurement, when process of public procurement was supervised by external procurement agencies.

Risk Management of Company Energopoint, spol. s r.o.
Křivánková, Petra ; Šuhaj, Lubomír (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
The thesis deals with risk management in the company Energopoint Ltd. The theoretical part explains important concepts related to the issue. This primarily involves the identification, analysis and follow-up methods of risk reduction. In the analytical part are identified all possible risks a company that has been detected by analysis of macro environment, micro environment and internal analysis of the company. To evaluate the significance of risks is used scoring method. Based on the findings of the analytical part I proposed measures to reduce risks. The contribution of the work is to gain the advantages of introducing risk management in the company.

Upbringing in childcare institutions - life chances
Šípová, Jana ; Tuček, Milan (advisor) ; Kandert, Josef (referee)
Diploma thesis "Upbringing in Childcare Institutions - Life Chances" deals with the sociological perspective of education and upbringing in childcare institutions. In the theoretical part, there is discussed the problem of socialization of individuals from specialized institutions, as well as their stigmatization or institutional environment from the perspective of the theory of total institutions. This work focuses on how education in specialised institutions allows development of their children's personalities, what help is offered to the children before leaving the facility (for their subsequent socialization in a new environment). The work is complemented by a historical overview of the legal definition of institutional childcare. The research part is intended to monitor the abovementioned sociological aspects of single orphanage facilities. The research is based on the responses of facilities staff, children who are about to leave the institutional and the children who have left this environment.

Polar ferrocen phosphinoamides
Schulz, Jiří
v anglickém jazyce Polar ferrocene phosphinoamides Polar phosphane-carboxamides 1-(diphenylphosphanyl)-1-[N-(2-hydroxyethyl)carba- moyl]ferrocene (4) and 1-(diphenylphosphanyl)-1-[N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)carbamoyl] ferrocene (5) bearing hydroxyethyl pendants derived from 1-(diphenylphosphanyl)-1- ferrocene-carboxylic acid (Hdpf) were synthesized either by direct amidation or via active pentafluophenyl ester (3). Reactions of 4 and 5 with [PdCl2(cod)] (cod = 2 :2 -cyclocta-1,5- diene) afforded the respective bis(phosphane) complexes trans-[PdCl2L2] (6, L = 4; 7, L = 5). Depending on the solvent used in their subsequent crystallisation (ethanol or chloroform), the complexes were isolated as distinct solvatomorphs. All new compounds have been characterised by spectral methods and by X-ray crystallography. The structure determination for both ligands and solvated complexes (62EtOH, 66CHCl3, 72EtOH, and 74CHCl3) revealed the dominating role of hydrogen bond interactions in their solid-state assemblies. The nature and complexity of the hydrogen bonded arrays changed broadly along with the ligand structure (one vs. two 2-hydroxy-ethyl chains) and their number in the discrete species (free ligand vs. the complexes), and also with the solvent properties. Catalytic tests performed with 6 and 7 on...

Analysis of Parkinson's disease using segmental speech parameters
Mračko, Peter ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Smékal, Zdeněk (advisor)
This project describes design of the system for diagnosis Parkinson’s disease based on speech. Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder of the central nervous system. One of the symptoms of this disease is disability of motor aspects of speech, called hypokinetic dysarthria. Design of the system in this work is based on the best known segmental features such as coefficients LPC, PLP, MFCC, LPCC but also less known such as CMS, ACW and MSC. From speech records of patients affected by Parkinson’s disease and also healthy controls are calculated these coefficients, further is performed a selection process and subsequent classification. The best result, which was obtained in this project reached classification accuracy 77,19%, sensitivity 74,69% and specificity 78,95%.

Multilateralism in the European Neighbourhood Policy
Prošková, Barbora ; Weiss, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šlosarčík, Ivo (referee)
This paper focuses on the existence of multilateral relations among European Union and its Eastern neighbors. The purpose of this paper is to study whether and to what extent multilateral relations have existed with Eastern states since the introduction of European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). Paper deals as well with the progress of these relations emphasizing mainly the evolution after the release of Eastern Partnership. An in-depth examination of different aspects of the above mentioned relations confirms the paper's assumption that the multilateral type of relations have existed since the startup of ENP and that they were deepened by Eastern Partnership. The final part of the paper is devoted to the assessment of multilateral dimension of Eastern part of the European neighbourhood, its interpretation enriched by current debates.

Gender at school
Zemková, Jana ; Nováková, Daniela (referee) ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (advisor)
The aim of my work is obtaining an insight into gender problems. Theoretical framework of it is based on determination of concepts like gender, gender identity, gender mainstreaming, gender and family, and gender and school. Within my research I determine information awareness about gender issues at primary schools. I try to face findings from studied literature with the school practice. The research part is supplemented by comments from the respective field. Necessity of further research in this area is proposed in the conclusion.
