Concept of logical consequence

What does i t mean for a gi ven sentence to be a logical consequence of another one? Some basic articulation of this notion is easily available: no matter what is the case, if the premisses are true, then the conclusion is true. Alfred Tarski proposed in 1936 his famous no-counterexample analysis of this notion which was supposed to refine this intuitions and become conceptually adequate formal counterpart of pre-theoretic notion: a sentence X is a logical consequence of K if and only if there is no possible interpretation (model) of the nonlogical terminology of L according to which all the sentences in K are true and X is false. This definition has been considered a conceptually adequate analysis of the pre-formal notion of logical consequence up to present day. I am tryting to find out in this text if this believe can be justified. Various realizations of Tarski's definitional proposal exhibi ts various faul ts, and in the end i t seems like the model-theoretic approach to account of logical notions is not useful for this purpose at all.

The influence of Jan Kubisz' work on the identity and cultural awareness of three generations of těšínské Slezsko

The purpose of this paper is to find the level of influence of Kubisz' work on the identity and cultural awareness of three generations of the Tesin region of Silesia. For this purpose there has been depicted consequent methodological basis that advert to terms and theories which I use in the following part of this paper. I have as well depicted a brief historical-cultural development and introduced a person called Jan Kubisz. In orter to prove the level of influence of the author's work on self-identification of local people, I present in the ending chapters merit and results of the study that I have realized in the Tesin region of Silesia. Formation of the image of Soviet Russia in Czechoslovakia between World Wars

The image of Soviet Russia in Czechoslovakia between W orld Wars was the result of persona! experiences of the visitors mentioned in their literary works. The amount of places these visitors were able to visit was relatively small and that is why the reality shown in their works is distorted. In some cases such a distorted image was created by the institutions monitoring foreigners in the Soviet territory. It was VOKS (V sesojuznoe obščestvo dlja kuľtumoj svjazi s zagranicej) and the Soviet state travel agency Intourist, to name the most significant of them. Also the writers who tried to present an objective description of the situation in the Soviet Union were often dependent on theoretical information without the possibility to verify their theories in practice. A significant number of left-wing intelectuals considered the dictatorship of the proletariat to be a politi cal vanguard. They sticked to these behefs because they did not have any opportunity to discover the rea! consequences of Bolshevik govemment on the people in the Soviet Union.

Public contracts and thein economic consequences in the practice

Bachelor thesis titled "Public contracts and their economic consequences in the practice" is created by czech and foreign literature and professional websites. Meaning of thesis is description of processes of public contracts, their sorting, issues and evaluation of concrete cases of public contacts, that they are realized in Hradec Králové Region during 2013 and 2015. At the same time they are summarized means, how i tis possible to prevent possible corruption in all process of public contracts. They proceed from own research, that it applies experiences and the very practice throughout the process of public contracts, that they are gained from managers, managing directors and organisations, that they are owned by self-government in the Czech republic. All these findings affect terms from multiple disciplines for example in law, economics, statistics, regional science and sociology.

The analysis of the utilization of farm machinery used to repair damage caused by flash flooding.

The aim of the thesis is to analyse possible consequences caused by flash flooding and the work that is needed to repair the damage. The thesis gives basic information about utilization of farm machinery, auxiliary working adapters and traffic appliance suitable for realization of work plans to remove the flooding consequences. The thesis should help accredited authority with decision making and with repairing and securing the consequences caused by flooding.

Impact analysis of large dam constuction with case study of Orlik water dam

This diploma thesis deals with the large water dams realization and their impact on the adjacent region and its development. The aim of thesis is to identify the most important effects associated with the construction of dams and analyze them. The theoretical part defines basic terms, categories of dams and the impacts of their construction, included the planning proces too. The problem is practically solved on the example of the Orlik Dam. The methods that has been used on this topic were literature review, data and available resources analysis and also there were used microhistorical approach. It can be assumed that dams have great impact on the surrounding environment, but the volume of the impact is always determined by many factors. Due to the amount of planned infrastructure projects is needed to pay extra attention for consequences of their realization considerable.
