In the empirical part I find out whether the quantity and quality of didactic preparation during university studies fill the needs of a beginning pedagog. Using the combination of two explorative techniques (a questionnaire and an interview) I focus on the skill of setting the aim of education. Finally I describe the results of my research. I also think about the level of pedagogical skills of future and beginnig teachers and discuss the question of better practical preparation for the trainee teachers.

This work deals with the possibilities of assessments of mental maps using GIS tools. The main goal is to create a collection of methods to evaluate positioning and relative accuracy of mental maps. The method principles are based on methods of GIS. The emphasis is on maximum versatility and automation the assessment procedure. For all proposed methods there are further discussed the advantages and disadvantages. First part of this work deals with the theme of mental maps, followed by a brief introduction to GIS and their use in the field mental maps. The main part is devoted to the description and practical examples of evaluation methods. At the conclusion there is a discussion of the proposed methods and the appropriateness of use GIS at this issue in general. Solved Problems in Physics for Electronic Collection - Magnetic field
Popová, Markéta ; Ošťádal, Ivan (referee) ; Koupilová, Zdeňka (advisor)
The main focus of this diploma thesis was to create structured tasks from topical unit Magnetic field. They are published in the electronic collection of solved exercises in physics now and they complement the tasks created in previous bachelor's thesis. Each task contains hints, analysis, detailed solution, computation, and is complemented with ilustratived pictures. The structured solutions are aimed at helping the reader with self-study and lead him to thinking about given problems. In the scope of this diploma thesis, were created more complicated tasks for grammar school level that can be used as teacher's preparation for an interesting lesson or seminar, and tasks at the university level of difficulty. The next task was to analyze the topic "magnetic field" from the point of view of elementary school, grammar school and first grade of university, and, on the basis of the term analysis, put the created tasks into the structure of given topical unit and eventually suggest their appropriate use in the education process.

Comparison of lactate level at the same load in a swimming treadmill and on a bicycle ergometer
Suchomelová, Helena ; Jurák, Daniel (advisor) ; Čechovská, Irena (referee)
3 ABSTRACT Title: Comparison of lactate level at the same load in a swimming treadmill and on a bicycle ergometer Subject: 6 students (3 girls and 3 boys) from the first year of Bachelor's study at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the Charles University at the age of 20,5 years ± 3 years took part in this research. Goal of the research: To compare demands of the load in the swimming flume with the same load on the bicycle ergometer, mainly at the level of the anaerobic threshold. Methods: We tested students by the method Critical Swimming Speed (CSS) for finding out their anaerobic threshold. Then students swam physical tests in the swimming treadmill - flume. The test consists of three 6 min parts. The first part of the swimming test was under the level of the CSS, the second part was at the level of the CSS and the third part was above the level of the CSS. We used the device for measuring the beat frequency (sport-testers) for obtaining information about changes of the heart rate (HR) during tests. Afterwards we accomplished tests on the bicycle ergometer, where we maintained HR at the same levels as in the load in the flume. We measured level of blood lactate (LA) after every 6 min part in the flume and on the ergometer. We statistically processed resulted values of LA by the Wilcoxon...
