The Picture as a Phenomenon

My thesis consists of three parts: the practical, the theoretical and the didactic part. In the practical part I represent my own work, which examines the phenomenon of the pictures using pictures of one persone. By other words I represent my personal conception. I unrestand picture as something that stands at the begining of the work and can be expresed by depiction. The practical part became the starting point for the following parts. In the theoretical part I look for connections between my Picture and Pictures of the Czech artists. By other words I look for some resemblance between them. The third part deals with my pedagogical activities. An important intention of my thesis is not only the view of my work, or my own self-reflection and a way of searching for relations to the art. But especially the afford to use my inspiration in the pedagogical activitiy. I verify the possibility of using my own inspiration at school with the students of secondary schools. Holiday Resort near Water Reservoir Král´ová

The subject of the diploma thesis is design a new building with a camping in the village Šoporňa. The building is situated near the river Váh on flat terrain. Emphasis was placed on the total visual impression of the building on its stand out from the surrounding landscape. The building will serve as a recreation building with the possibility of short and long-tern housing. There is a restaurant with outdoor seating and an accommodation capacity for 90 people, trade with sport equipment, service for vehicles and boats, garage for boats, a 11,6 metres high climbing wall, conference rooms and halls for exercise. The building has three floors above and no basement. The project includes a flat roof with an attic.

Continues concrete bridge structure on the expressway R2

The subject of master thesis is expressway R2 in Slovakia through a valley. Height of the construction is limited by a railway line and a local road. From two designed variants was chosen one and futher examined. The span lenght of bridge fields is 24,5 +5 x 30+24,5m. The structure was designed according to ultimate and serviceability limite states and construction stages were considered in model. In master thesis was processed structural design report, drawnings, visualization and engineering report.

Bridge over a brook and local road

The aim of the diploma thesis is the proposal of a bridge structure in the direction of Frýdek-Místek - Mosty u Jablunkova. A bridge is used to overcome the local road and Malý javorový stream. From three alternatives is selected a post-tensioned two-beam concrete struction and assessed according to the limit states. It is developed clear and detail drawings and visualization of the bridge.

Structural design of the testing centre

The master´s thesis concerns with the design of the construction of the testing centre. The hall is divided in two parts, in one of those parts the office rooms are located. The precast concrete frame of the hall is composed by foundation pads, columns, secondary beams and crane beams, precast slabs, and prestressed girders. The thesis contains report, structural design, drawings of floor plans and sections, drawings of formwork and reinforcement, visualization and steps of construction.

Traffic Monitoring from Aerial Video Data

This thesis proposes a system for extraction of vehicle trajectories from aerial video data for traffic analysis. The system is designed to analyse video sequence of a single traffic scene captured by an action camera mounted on an arbitrary UAV flying at the altitudes of approximately 150 m. Each video frame is geo-registered using visual correspondence of extracted ORB features. For the detection of vehicles, MB-LBP classifier cascade is deployed, with additional step of pre-filtering of detection candidates based on movement and scene context. Multi-object tracking is achieved by Bayesian bootstrap filter with an aid of the detection algorithm. The performance of the system was evaluated on three extensively annotated datasets. The results show that on the average, 92% of all extracted trajectories are corresponding to the reality. The system is already being used in the research to aid the process of design and analysis of road infrastructures.

This work examines the relationship between man and the cosmos, and deals with topics cosmos and cosmology in terms of philosophical and scientific, but also seeks connection with religion and mythology. The aim is to interpret and define the concepts of the cosmos and cosmology, and find these contents in visual culture and fine art. The Media Image of Visual Arts in Czech Television

The thesis consists of a context and textual analysis of Artmix, a TV show dedicated to visual arts, while touching on other relevant programs on Czech TV. The results of these analyses are then brought into theoretical setting primarily using the philosophical and social concept of the Field of Power as defined by Pierre Bourdieu in his book Rules of Art.
Principal themes, interspersing throughout the text, are the limits of reflections of visual arts through TV screen and hidden interpretational patterns applied to visual arts through its media image. Furthermore there is an additional issue of traditional notions of an artist existing within our society, weighed down by history, or the quest for the ideal format of a TV show reflecting visual arts.

Possibilities of special-educational intervention for university students with visual impairment

Tato diplomová práce sc zabývá možnostmi podpory vysokoškolských studentů se zrakovým postižením. Mohlo by se na první pohled zdát, že tato podpora již nemá ve vysokoškolském studiu místo. Nejsou žádné instituce podobné speciálně pedagogickým centrům, či pedagogicko-psychologickým poradnám, přesto však je potřeba při studiu jedince s handicapem na speciální podporu myslet a poskytovat ji. V případě studentů vysokých škol již nepůjde o individuálně vzdělávací plány pro učitele, ani není zapotřebí dohlížet, aby jedinec včas navštěvoval svého specialistu z oboru medicíny, ale je potřeba zajistit vhodné kompenzační pomůcky, upravovat studijní prostředí, přizpůsobovat průběh a formu zkoušek. Diplomová práce má pět částí, každá je rozdělena na jednotlivé kapitoly. V první části se práce zabývá vývojem jedince v období adolescence a mladé dospělosti (věk 15 až 26 let). Architecture in landscape - Winery

The idea behind the project is the location of the wine factory, together with the craft in one clearly defined object, which allows a very simple operational links for the smallest area and farmyards. The production of wine is hidden in a simple blocks below the surface of the land. Above the ground are visible three blocks, which gradually diminishes to the north, and among them are wind permeable courtyards. The largest object, in the visual communication with Pálava, is building on the side devoted to visitors. There is located room for tasting and for a variety of events and also for the presentations and sale of wine. Over the small court dedicated for visitors and various cultural events consequents block needed for the winery - grapes import, export and the location of all small machinery needed for the cultivation of the vine. The middle building is to use for pedestrians from the south and for the machinery from the north. There is also the farmyard serving for the cooperage. All objects are linked by materials and helps of the wood-steel construction to break down simple blocks, which is covered with the wild wine that in the season beautifully change color.
