Assessment Centre as a Staff Selecting Method

This Bachelor thesis deals with the Assessment Centre as a Staff Selecting Method in terms of specific company. The aim of this thesis is based on the empirical method of direct observation and on structured interviews with employees of the Československá obchodní banka, a.s. evaluate the use of method Assessment Centre at staffing and make suggestions for improvement. Thesis is devided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on secondary sources, knowledge acquired from literature specialized on Assessment Centre. The practical part contains the characteristics of the company, a desription of the recruitment prosecc and selection method Assessment Centre at Československá obchodní banka, a.s., evaluation of this method and suggestions for improvement. The results of thesis in practical part are based on qualitative research - direct observation of theapplication the selecting method and structured interviews with employees of Recruitment and HR communication department of Československá obchodní banka, a.s. and managers.

The subject of my diploma thesis is acquisition, selection and recruitment of workers in selected company. The first part focuses on the description of the theoretical knowledge gained from literature. There are defined concepts, methods, and procedures the issue. The second part characterizes selected company described its business area and there is a detailed analysis of the company employees. This section also focuses on the current system of acquisition, selection and recruitment of staff. The final section includes proposed amendments and recommendations in selected areas that will improve the efficiency of the system.
Recruitment and selection process of employees in the company KOVOSVIT MAS, a.s.

The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to analyze the recruitment and selection process of employees in the company KOVOSVIT MAS, a.s., identify its strengths and weaknesses and propose measures to improve its effectiveness. With the questionnaire survey there is also examined satisfaction of employees with the company's process of recruitment and selection of staff. This thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on the theoretical background. The findings of this part are also applied in the practical part. In the practical part, there is introduced company KOVOSVIT MAS, a.s., the structure of its employees and the system of recruitment and selection of employees, which is established in the company. Then the questionnaire survey is evaluated, which examines the attitude and satisfaction of the workers with the system of recruitment and selection of employees in the company. In the last part there is a formulation of its strenghts and weaknesses and proposition of measures which could lead to its improvement.

The aim of the bachelors thesis is to analyse the recruitment process at Call centre RWE, explore untapped labour market, identify strengths and weaknesses of the recruitment process and make suggestions to improve current labour situation. Thesis is divided into two sections - theoretical and practical. Theoretical section describes terms and theory of recruitment. Practical section consists of the description of the company, current situation in recruitment at the Call centre RWE, results of the research and strengths and weaknesses of the recruitment process together with the suggestions for increasing its outcome. The research included these topics - student employment, popularity of the position call centre operator, RWEs employer brand especially its attractiveness and the recruitment campaign.

The process of recruiting and selection of employees in the company Kostelecké uzeniny a.s. is described in the practical part. It is mainly based on interview with director of Human resources department of the company, provided materials, website of the company and annual reports of the company. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the process of recruiting and selection of employees in the company Kostelecké uzeniny a.s., its comparison with the theoretical basis and suggestion of new improvements of the process in case of need.

The aim of this work is to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees in the company RADIOMETER Ltd., to evaluate the results of the analysis and recommend measures that will improve the process. The work is divided into four parts. Introductory, theoretical, practical part and conclusion. In the first part I will introduce the objectives and progress of the thesis. In the theoretical part are defined terms recruitment and selection of employees. In the practical part the company analyzed, displayed structure of employees in the company and analyzed the process of recruitment and selection of staff. The conclusion summarizes the results of the analysis and recommendations for the company.
Recruitment through social networks

This bachelor thesis focuses on topical issues of the possible use of social networks for recruitment. In the introduction, the theoretical basis for securing human resources in the organization and activities linked with this topic is described. Furthermore, the theoretical section of the work is focused mainly on the well-known social networks both in the Czech Republic and in the global environment. Also the methods of reaching candidates that can be used through these networks are described. In the practical section of this work, the main focus is given on the survey regarding to the usage of social networks for recruitment. The survey was carried out through questionnaires which were addressed to representatives of companies operating on the Czech market. Besides the description of the research and its methodology, this part includes the results of the survey, which are then examined depending on the companys size and the sector in which the company operates. In the conclusion the main findings of this research are summarized, together with the possibilities of usage of this thesis in practice and the potential direction of further research.
Comparison of the recruitment and staff selection in two selected companies in the region Klatovsko

This dissertation is focused on the description, analysis and comparison of the process of recruitment and selection of employees in companies Lesní stavby s.r.o., Nýrsko a Silnice Klatovy a.s., these companies are located in the region Klatovsko. Through the literature research is the theoretical part focused on recruitment and staff selection and on regional context of Pilsen region itself. In the practical part is described, analyzed and compared the system of staff recruitment and selection in selected companies. These data are based on information gathered from interviews with directors and human resources managers of companies stated above. After processing the practical part there were found some shortcomings in the area of human resource management and the suggestions for improvement were suggested. In this thesis we can also find an interpretation of the results of the external conditions of the human resource management
Sources of recruitment of employees

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the metods of the recruitment of employees in three types of companies: a huge company with more than 250 people, a small company with less than 49 people and recruitment agency and to recommend improvement. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part has five chapters. It deals with the explanation of the terms from the branch of the recruitment of employees and clarifies which sources can be used. The practical part contains four chapters. It is based on a qualitative research of the interviews with employees who recruit new staffs. The situation is assessed according to these interviews and we offer how to use the sources and suggest optimal changes to make the recruitment process better.

The master´s thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines the essential terms and provides basic solutions for the issue of recruitment and selection of employees. The practical part presents the selected company, evaluates the process of recruitment and selection of employees and presents suggestions to improve the functioning of the whole process. The practical part also includes a survey, which examines employee satisfaction with recruiting and selecting new personnel.
