Analysis of hobby sheep breeds
Lejsalová, Ludmila ; Ptáček, Martin (advisor) ; Ducháček, Jaromír (referee)
This bachelor thesis is a literature review about small-scale sheep keeping and sheep breeds, that are the most frequent for these activity. In this thesis are described following breeds: Cameroon sheep, Heidschnucke, Shetland sheep, Ouessant sheep, Jacob sheep and Kerry Hill sheep. Information was drawn from available literature and from personally visited breeding. This thesis is a summary of available information about history of sheep breeding and beginning of small-scale keeping. They are founded as a free time activity or for concrete utility. The main part is made as a complete presentation of each breed. It contains section about its history and world spread. Other information are focused on characteristic and breeding of each breed. In a small-scale sheep keeping are used often primitive breeds that are strong and adaptable therefore even unskilled breeder can start a new breeding. Furthermore, there is describtion of history and actual information about breeding in the Czech Republic. The thesis is focused on utility of every described breed. Numbers of these breeds increase worldwide, even though some of them were almost extinct. Data from Association of Sheep and Goat Breeders show that small-scale sheep breeding is more popular every year in the Czech Republic. At present expands sheep breeding as a hobby or as a effort of food self-sufficiency. In available literature are these breeds mentioned only marginally. But because of their increasing popularity is important to pay attentation to them.

High precision differential thermometer
Sieklik, Ivan ; Wilfert, Otakar (referee) ; Barcík, Peter (advisor)
This work describes the principles of measurements of refractive-index structural parameter. This parameter represent intensity of atmospheric turbulence which is measured by a differential temperature meter. Basic properties of atmospheric transmission environment are specified and their influence on optical wave is stated. Furthermore, this thesis also describes fundamental types of sensors dedicated to temperature measurements. The aim of this work was to create a differential temperature meter which is able to measure the refractive-index structural parameter.

Software for simulation of acoustic pressure distribution
Hampl, Filip ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Kurc, David (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with the creation of software to simulate the distribution of sound pressure. Basic principles of sound propagation are explained which are necessary for an understanding of the issue. There is a description of the velocity potential and its application in creating simulations. Another issue is the introduction of wavefield synthesis, which is essentially a technology for simulation of primary sources with secondary sources. Advantages of wavefiled synthesis are discussed as well as disadvantageous aspects. The practical part of this work is creating a user interface in Matlab, which allows user to plot the distribution of sound pressure of one or interaction of more emitters. Another possible outcome is to display the directional characteristics of real resources. At the very end of the work the direction of further work is outlined.
Gathering Wool
Švecová, Jana ; Petříček,, Miroslav (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The diploma thesis called "The Woolgathering" is connected with the idea of gather a wave. It is the image of vanishing moment, effort for hold something that escapes us. Practical part is represented by installation of text, image and audio based on experience, reflection and reverie.
