Curriculum planning in health education

This diploma thesis is focused on curriculum planning in health education. The aim of the work was to design model lessons for a selected thematic unit of health education at a selected primary school. The model lessons are based on an analysis of the school's educational program which focused on the current document and the integration of health education into optional subjects. A partial goal of this work was also to find out whether health education teachers are informed about the concept of health education at their school. Among other things, the partial goal was to find out the current state of implementation of health education in the educational reality. Analysis of the school curriculum, observations, and interviews were used to obtain information. This diploma thesis contains twelve models of lessons of the thematic unit sex education. During the analysis was found that the school curriculum of the selected school contains incorrect information, is out of date and some fields of study are completely missing in the document. There is no subject focused on healt education in the selection of optional subjects, but we can find a partial blend in the two offered optional subjects. Didactical games in teaching of Education for health

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of including didactic games in teaching, here specifically in the educational field of health education. The reform of Czech education system is constantly being talked about, which should start to focus more on the pupil's activity than on the teacher's activity, and so one of the solutions may be the use of activating teaching methods, which can include the already mentioned didactic games. The theoretical part of the work is devoted to defining the concept of motivation, which is an important part of student activity in school, and its types. Furthermore, readers will get acquainted with the definition of the term teaching methods and their basic division, which is freely followed by a description of activating teaching methods, their classification and the advantages and disadvantages of their use in practise. The work also gets specifically to didactic games, which describes in detail their methodological preparation, further division, but also the principles of using didactic games in teaching. The last part of the theoretical part deals with the approach to the educational field of health education and its didactics in connection with the use of didactics in the teaching of health education. Development of competencies of preschool children in the field of safety and health protection in kindergarten

The bachelor thesis deals with the field of safety and health protection of preschool children. The goals of this thesis is to describe the health and safe behaviour in the concept of pre- school education and based on theoretical approaches, which are important for scientific research, to investigate competence of Czech children that are living in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, in the canton of Geneva. The theoretical part compares Czech Framework Curriculum for pre-school education (Ministry of Education, 2021) with Plan d'étude (curriculum for pre-school education in the French-speaking part of Switzerland) in terms of health education and safety behaviour. It also defines the notion of health and safety in education and the developmental specificities of preschool children that are important for their development in the area under study. The last chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis maps out the risks to preschool children and, along with this, the didactic materials that deal with the issue, which are of Czech and Swiss origin. Distance education at a selected special primary school

The theoretical part introduces the target group - school and pupils with mild, moderate and severe mental disabilities. These pupils are still mostly educated at the special schools so the thesis describes the FEP for primary special education and points out the inclusion of a special education into the Czech school system. Additionally the thesis focuses on the distance learning modalities and approaches to distance learning. In the practical part a questionnaire survey has been used. Teaching staff from the special school in Poděbrady was chosen for the purpose of a questionnaire survey. Using the questionnaire survey, the author focuses on the evaluation and specific practical teachers experiences. Thesis outputs are examples of a good practice in the case of distance learning indicated to schools with a similar focus.
Healthy lifestyle education as a part of pre-school children's life.

The bachelor thesis deals with education of a healthy lifestyle in preschool children. In the theoretical part, the concept of health is defined and the factors that could threaten it are summarized. Furthermore, general knowledge about a healthy lifestyle and its principles specific to the preschool period are briefly mentioned in the thesis as well. Attention is also given to the influence of the family environment, the kindergarten environment, their interaction with the child and to projects that can become a tool for health promotion in kindergartens. The aim of the practical part was to find out what parents' and teachers' attitudes towards healthy lifestyles are and whether they lead children to them. This was done through a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that both parents and kindergarten teachers lead children to a healthy lifestyle and in most cases try to live an active and healthy lifestyle themselves. Health Education Curriculum in Elementary Schools and the Possibility of its Realization

The thesis is focused on health education and area of sex education in elementary schools. Work gives a picture of the current state of teaching of health education and determines the extent to which schools meet the requirements of health promotion. The theoretical part describes the historical development of health education curriculum in primary schools since the early twentieth century to the present. It deals with areas of sex education, its purpose, subject and content. The practical part deals with the integration of Health Education in schools, through the analysis of educational programs and survey.
Prevention of obesity as a part of the primary school children's health support

The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the components of a healthy lifestyle, child nutrition, nutritional habits of early school-age children, causes of obesity, its prevention and treatment and on the area of health education in the curriculum of a school. Integration opportunities of Health and Physical education in the curriculum of junior high schools

The thesis is focused on integration of Health and Physical education in the junior high school curriculum.The main objective is to find out the teachers' experiences and their opinions on the Health and PT education . And on the basis of the obtain information design, in line with the expected outcomes of the Framework of Educational Program, propose a training program for improving the Health and PT class education. In the theoretical part was analysed the common outputs and goals from the Educational Program for Basic Education updated in 2016 for these groups. Was also describes the psychomotor development of student at junior high schools based on science studiies. It identifies the way in which teachers in the field of didactics cooperate, and whether this cooperation is supported by the current curriculum. The practical part documents the course and results of qualitative research in schools with a low number of pupils and teachers in Vlašim school district. Thesis reveals the most common problems associated with teaching of Health education class, methods how teachers cooperationand, and shows the importance of teaching Health and PT education from the perspective of the teachers. The output of this thesis is make proposal of the Educational program which will link Health and PT.
