Creation of Apple iPhone Applications
Ondrůj, Daniel ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create a tutorial that could help developers interested in creating new applications for Apple iPhone to pass their initial unfamiliarity with the phone, its development environment, the programming language and the use of other components of the phone. The tutorial should be helpful for readers who have at least basic knowledge of the application development. There are also some useful links for readers who have no previous knowledge of programs' development. These materials describe some basic features and then clarify the common issues in more depth. Not only does this tutorial describe the phone's features and development tools, it also explains development procedures of concrete application. The phone has been introduced with a lot of new features such as accelerometer, large touch screen, etc. Therefore the application is trying to take advantage of most of these characteristics. The motive of this application stems from the old Russian game Tetris. This document describes only the functional and graphical design, concrete implementation and the source code are included in attachments.
Deferred Shading
Starý, Petr ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
Work deals with design and implementation a tutorial for demonstration deferred shading technique and its possibilities. It explains lighting and shading principles in intuitive and interactive way. Deferred shading is a technique which determines pixel color after the geometry rasterization of the entire scene. In other words the processing of geometry does not interfere with the shading process.
E-Learning Course of Driving School
Hurtečák, Lubomír ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
Master's thesis contains basic informations about e-learning and describe it by many criteria. It also describes progress and current trends in e-learning and what is needed to create interactive study materials and courses. I analyse most important advantages and disadvantages of these courses. I designed Web-based training system (WBT) for driving school, which is implemented as a program prototype of e-learning system.
Design of education board
Hadáček, Milan ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Karásek, David (advisor)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to blueprint a design of multi-functional educational console. The dissertation contains several variant studies, color drawings and concrete shape execution. It entails a certain development in the area of positioning and multi-functional appliances. The thesis itself deals with the concrete shape execution of multi-touch educational console as well as seat in the form of gym ball. Short video cut from the area of interactive media forms a part of my work too.
Creating 3D models supporting Modern computer graphics course
Silber, Marek ; Frenštátský, Petr (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is divided into two parts, where the first part is focused on an overview and work with 3D software at Czech universities, it includes a comparison of the different programs and description of history of Blender programme which was the one chosen as support for teaching the Modern computer graphics course. The second part of the thesis is more focused on practical matters and describes the basic workings of the programme from the first start up, orientation in the different sections and the settings of the work space for the work itself. The thesis details basic transformation commands of change of location, rotation and change of scale of objects and editing commands like copying, deleting, hiding and duplication of individual objects including their theoretical descriptions. Work with lightings continues after the transformation commands including practical examples of different types of lighting. Work with materials and textures is described in the last two chapters. The goal of this thesis is to describe how to work with the Blender programme and basic work with objects and assigning individual materials and textures for objects and the lighting in a scene for people unfamiliar with the programme.
FEM for machining simulation
Vojtek, Aleš ; Madaj, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The introduction to turning basics, chip separation process, cutting force generation and description of the finite element method. With this knowledge, a cutting simula-tion of AISI 1045 steel was done for 3 different rake angles, which was simplified by using an orthogonal machining model. The next simulation was cutting of AISI 6150 steel with the use of a 3D model of the grooving insert. The results of these simulations were then compared to the experimental results, and feasibility of finite element method was determined together with future recommendations for acquiring more pre-cise results.
Programming of plugins for the game Minecraft
Král, David ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Zikmund, Petr (referee)
This work focuses on clarifying the issues of programming plugins for the Minecraft computer game. The aim of my work is to teach readers the very basics of making plugins and being able to develop the plugins themselves. The first section explains what developers need to create plugins, what options are there in the configuration file and what their use for the plugin is. The next section describes the most commonly used events for modifying events on the server. The second section explains the development itself. The development is done in a step-by-step form where each step is always carefully explained to the reader. Individual pictures are placed at the end of each chapter to give the reader an idea of how it is all going to look.
Optimalizace externího rendrovacího systému V-Ray v programu Autodesk 3DS Max
Kramárik, Jakub
The bachelor thesis deals with the detailed introduction of the external rendering system V-Ray and its optimized settings in the programme Autodesk 3ds Max. The first part of thesis describes important function and properties of the rendering editor, lights, cameras and materials in the system V-Ray for the ideal output during the 3D visualization making. The thesis also contains suggested value setting of each function for the ideal output. The second part includes the example description of the interior visualization in the 3ds Max programme with the application of the external render, including the postproduction in the raster graphic editor.
Risks resulting from contact of primary school pupils with animals and their prevention through selected thematic areas contained in the RVP
PAVLÍKOVÁ, Jana
The main tasks of this thesis are a mapping of the occurrence of the topic prevention of risks arising from encounters with animals in textbooks for primary scholars, a detection levels of scholar´s knowledge in this field, a creation of a tutorial on this topic and a testing of this tutorial. The survey has shown that scholars have got only shallow theoretical knowledge about the way how to deal safely with common domesticated animals as dogs and cats, they have got almost no experience with bigger farm animals (as pigs, cows, horses). The survey has shown that after completing the tutorial the scholar´s knowledge has become much deeper. There is very low rate of this topic in textbooks for the educational area The Man and his World. The domesticated animals (especially dogs) are presented as a thoroughly good, the scholars are not warned of the possible risks during the meeting with this animals. This thesis was created as part of the GAJU 078/2013/S project.
New teaching methods using the Information Technology
Drudík, Jakub ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Benáčanová, Helena (referee)
The diploma thesis describes selected new teaching methods using the Information Technology. In consideration of supporting the Informatics course at University of Economics, the options of future teaching methodology development are outlined. The creation of educational tutorials in form of screencasting is considered as the first development step, for which the methodology has been drawn up. It covers preparation, implementation and publishing of the tutorials. To test the methodology, supporting learning materials were worked out accordingly for the part of the course explaining Microsoft Excel 2007 application -- in form of the illustration of the problem solving process. The created tutorials were published on the special website and presented (not only) to students. Within 14-day testing period a large dataset was acquired to provide feedback both from tracking visitors' movements on the website and from e-questionnaires. The feedback was thoroughly analysed and the conclusions were used for the optimalization of the methodology which was finalized by this step and is disposable for authors of future educational tutorials.
