The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement devices for wireless data collection and post processing in a superior system.
Realization of narrowband powerline modems
Kubíček, Lukáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a narrowband power line communication technology (PLC) and focuses on the potential use in the sensor networks. This thesis addresses both the structure and basic properties of PLC standard and possible use of this application in practice. The main part of this work is implementation of the PLC networks with IC ST7570 of STMicroelectronics. As an example of practical use of PLC technology, this network is connected to the computer where the data from the sensor (meter) connected to a PLC modem, stored in a database using a PHP script as presented by the Internet. Problem solving in this thesis focuses primarily on the simplicity and universality of the resulting applications.
Datalogger or building constructions
Štábl, Martin ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deal with developing dedicated autonomous device for data collection. The work describes the approaches how to design that. Solve choosing of the sensor taking into his properties for this device. And regard on the comparison with similar devices on market according behavior and function. General concept of the suggested datalogger. The thesis contains hardware and software equipment of this device.
Web and mobile application for meteorological data collection and visualisation
Šturala, Martin ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Caha, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the development of a web application in .NET 5 and a mobile application for the Android operating system. The applications were created for the collection and visualization of data from the weather station, which was developed in previous years within the diploma thesis of Ing. Petr Mlčák. The web application provides a REST API for collecting data from the weather station and sending data for the mobile application, it also provides a user web interface for visualizing data from the weather station and managing it. The first part describes the quantities that the weather station measures and sends to the server. The second part describes the design of a database structure for data storage. The third part of the work is focused on the development of a web application in ASP.NET, its parts and structure. The functions and their meaning in the web interface are also described. The fourth part describes the design and development of a mobile application and the principles used for data acquisition and display. In the end, the results of the work and the method of testing applications are evaluated.
The Analysis of Customers Satisfaction with a Transport Company
Lochmanová, Marcela ; Peprný, Aleš (referee) ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis deals with a survey of customer´s satisfaction with provided services. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of different concepts, problems in marketing research and also on a questionnaire as a tool of collecting information. The practical part of the thesis analyses and presents the results from the questionnaire including recommendation and suggestions for improvements. They should be leading into increase in popularity of using public transport.
Acquisition of data on network communication from terminal devices
Obršlík, Lukáš ; Šedý, Jakub (referee) ; Krkoš, Radko (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with collecting statistical information about network communication in terminal equipment devices. Theoretical part of this project aims to gather methods and application tools on Windows and Unix platforms and support them by well chosen third party solution to gain more detailed informations. Tools were chosen based on ease of deployment and usage. Practical part of bachelor’s thesis directs to find suitable solution to gather detailed informations about network traffic. Important fact must be to not bother the end-users. Next part is to develop own application for collecting information about network usage and communication. Output format structure of the solution was designed with future data manipulation in mind.
Forensic Analysis in Windows OS
Manda, David ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is focused on digital forensic analysis in operating system Windows. The purpose of this thesis is to provide a preview to the techniques and procedures forensics analysis. There are disclosed available software tools used during forensic analysis. The part of this thesis is also practical process of forensic analysis and developing forensic report
Wireless sensors network for measurement of soil water potential
Customer satisfaction analysis and proposal for its enhancement
Navrátilová, Petra ; Jiříček, Michal (referee) ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor)
