PhDr. Jaroslav Bláha, Ph.D. Abstract The thesis deals with a comparative analysis of a project called Poéme électronique in the Philips Pavilion (1958), while an emphasis is put on its mathematical background and broader interdisciplinal contexts. Particular attention is devoted to grand oldman Iannis Xenakis. The thesis tries to interpret the phenomenon of Electronic poetry, which we understand as an effort to design a multimedia "Gesamtkunstwerk". This brings the necessitate of the multi-specialized synthetic approach in searching of a relationship between the kinds of arts, and the analysis of interactions of individual project components.

Soukupová, Veronika ; Špirit, Michael (advisor) ; Holý, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis concerns with the composition of selected novels by Jan Otčenášek. It tries to demonstrate author's homogeneous method of arranging the actions, which lead from exposition, a hero's crisis and a following act to a shift in his opinion and lastly to his final attitude. Besides the common constructing principles, the thesis also reflects features which enrich his later works. The applied interpretative and analytical method is based on a briefly described definition of the term composition.
Musical inspiration in the works of Milan Kundera
Zemanová, Marie ; Kubíček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Klumparová, Štěpánka (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with musical inspiration on the base of the analysis of the composition and motives in Kundera's novels. Basic source of the analysis is Kundera's own reflection of modern music, its principles and functions in author's essays. The aim of the thesis is to chart sources of inspiration which mirror in Kundera's prose and other texts. We proceed from the concrete to the abstract, from analysis of motives and composition of each book, to the intellectual level which is perceptible mainly in author's essays and essaistic passages in some novels. Author's texts are dealt with chronologically. As the level of motives and themes are concerned, the musical inspiration is treated via themes, such as Beethoven and his art of variations, noisy contemporary music and the end of music in the work of Schoenberg. On the level of composition, the author writes novels using schemes of musical forms, such as theme with variations, rondo, sonata form or fugue. In his essays, he mainly examines works of composers Beethoven, Janacek, Stravinskij and Schoenberg. All three levels are connected and they influence each other. The last chapter is oriented didacticly and an option is offered how to use this topic at school. It is important to considerate cross-curricular links between literature and music.

The presented work is based on the theoretical part which is focused on preschool children, pre-mathematical literacy and worksheets. The practical part consists of the created worksheets, tasks and their characteristics. The use of worksheets during practise in kindergarten was monitored in a qualitative research on a sample of thirteen preschool children of one kindergarten. All worksheets were debating the matter of "the whole and its parts", each in a different way. The solution process presupposes activities connected with comparison, reasoning, with arrangement, sorting, assembly and decomposition. The process of solving tasks by children is recorded on video and then analyzed. The methods of solving the bachelor's task were research, qualitative research, observation, registration of observed phenomena, analysis and discussion.
