This diploma thesis deals with design concept of three wheel small utility vehicle with curb weight 300kg. At the beginning is short description of some similar vehicles. Analyses of used concepts and descriptions of constructions parts have preceded their choice. Then is created 3D model in PRO Engineer and calculations of driving output and stress analyses are based on it. In design concept is accent putted on ergonomics, look, practical utilization and manufacturability.
MEB modular platform for electric cars
Tkach, Svitlana ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the possibilities of the newly developed modular electric drive matrix MEB of the Volkswagen Group. The aim was to create a research study about technical parameters of the platform and the possibilities of its use for various categories of vehicles not only within the Volkswagen Group, but also the offer to competing manufacturers. In conclusion of the bachelor’s thesis is formulated the impact of technologies, offered by the modular electric drive matrix, on the development and production of electric vehicles and the related possibility of a reversal in the expansion of electric drive.
Traveling Mechanism of Crane Trolley Capacity 25 tons
Bartušek, Filip ; Řezníček, Milan (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of trolley traverse mechanism of workshop overhead crane with rated capacity 25 000 kg. This work contains one particular variant of traverse mechanism, it is an electric drive with two gear motors. The outcome of this thesis is the technical documentation, which includes the solution concept, design of the drive components (motor, gearbox, brake) and calculations of selected components (travelling wheels, shafts, bearings), and drawing documentation.
Electric drive of testing bench
Jon, Václav ; Vrba, Jaromír (referee) ; Koláčný, Josef (advisor)
The master thesis deals with problems of electrical gears divided to the teoretical and practical part of submitted work. Thesis was created in conjuction with company VUES Brno s.r.o. The author of the master thesis accomplished three-month work experience at aforementioned company and consequently solved the national project: Automatic station with utilization of active synchronic brakes for testing electrical hand-held tools. The project included creating full-automatic station for testing life-time cyclic tests electrical hand-held tools. The author of the project engage in programme for frequency transmitter served as headstone of the master thesis.
Control of manufacturing line
Stříž, Martin ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The main task of this project was to design a program for control system of dry concrete product handling line. This manufacturing line is controlled by a programmable logical controller Simatic S7 300 produced by Siemens company. A graphical touch panel TP 177A and a control desk with buttons are used as human machine interface. The developed program contains functions for control conveyors, manipulator and cleaning station. Management of formulations stored in PLC by operator is also included in program. The theoretical part deals with dimensioning of drives for two mechanical systems of this manufacturing line. Choice of power output of the electric motors depends on required torque. A fundamental principles and rules of five basic programming languages for PLC in accordance with standard IEC 61131-3 are specified here. The practical part describes project creation in Step 7 software and functions and capabilities of projected system by means of user manual.
Design of an Urban Electric Motorcycle
Rýznarová, Adéla ; Surman, Martin (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
Nowadays, an increasing number of people are faced with problems related to excessive traffic. This is most noticeable in urban environments, where a large number of different vehicles, especially cars with internal combustion engines, regularly meet. Their excessive number makes the traffic situation much more difficult and contributes significantly to air pollution. This situation is not sustainable in the long term, which is why people are increasingly looking for more environmentally friendly alternatives. One possible solution, for example, is the partial replacement of conventional means of transport by electrically powered urban single-track vehicles, which, thanks to their compact size and greater environmental friendliness, make urban transport easier.
Design of Semi-autonomous Lawnmower
Górová, Simona ; Chorý, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The main purpose of this work was to design a semi-autonomous lawn mower powered by an electric motor powered by rechargeable batteries. In addition to providing safe and comfortable operation with manual control, another objective was to add features to enable autonomous control. In order to achieve a suitable design that suits the machine's function, technical conditions and aesthetic requirements, a full enclosure of the machine was chosen, which is not common in current models on the market. In addition to the classic attributes such as the standing platform, handles and controls, a screen has been added that can be removed and used as an external display when the machine is running autonomously. Emphasis was also placed on ergonomics and eliminating elements in the handling plane to provide greater clarity and space for the operator. This has been achieved in particular by replacing the operating movable handles with static joysticks with buttons. The thesis describes selected products on the current market, some technical solutions, possible alternatives and the design itself. The design of the product is proposed to the extent that it is possible to encompass it without detailed knowledge of the individual disciplines (such as electrical engineering, computer and computer technology, etc.).
A design of engraving plotter
Brtník, Vojtěch ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis, in addition to the actual design of the laser engraving laser, contains basic information about laser engraving technology and marking used in industry. It explains the physical principle of the laser and the laser source, which is essential to understand and classify laser modules. Provides an up-to-date market survey of the laser engraving modules and engraving plotters in use. In the design part, the design of an engraving plotter for SMC company is carried out using 3D models in Solidworks 2022 according to the specified parameters. The plotter design includes the selection of a suitable linear motion unit with electric drive, the assumed control, control calculations and the design of the plotter structural elements. The next section deals with the design of the support part and includes safety and functional elements. The paper concludes with a cost evaluation and recommendations for practice.
Bike drivetrain
Daněk, Viktor ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the bicycle powertrain and its evolution. It describes the history of bicycles and gears. It provides an overview of the different gear train concepts. It includes an analysis of external drivetrains, hub gears, in-frame gears and other technologies used. It also focuses on the development of electric bicycles and electric drivetrains, including their classification by motor location on the bicycle and by the most common electric motor manufacturers. The thesis covers an analysis of gear shifting from a kinematic perspective and includes a computational simulation of the motion of a model of a shifter and its shift cable in Ansys software. The simulation brings useful insights for understanding the real operation of the shifter and the stresses on its gear cable when the chain is shifted between the pinions. The work also describes new or underused drive concepts and their characteristics. The different concepts are also evaluated in terms of their application to different types of wheels. The main result of the work is a complex description of the most used bicycle drive trains. The thesis also analyses the development of gear trains, electric drives and gear shifting.
