Popisuje historii jízdních kol a převodů. Poskytuje přehled různých koncepcí převodových ústrojí. Zahrnuje analýzu externího hnacího ústrojí, nábojové převodovky, převodovky v rámu kola a dalších používaných technologií. Práce zahrnuje rozbor řazení převodů z pohledu kinematiky a obsahuje výpočtovou simulaci pohybu modelu přehazovačky a jejího posuvného lanka v programu Ansys. Práce dále analyzuje vývoj převodových ústrojí, elektropohonů i řazení.
This thesis focuses on the bicycle powertrain and its evolution. It describes the history of bicycles and gears. It provides an overview of the different gear train concepts. It includes an analysis of external drivetrains, hub gears, in-frame gears and other technologies used. It also focuses on the development of electric bicycles and electric drivetrains, including their classification by motor location on the bicycle and by the most common electric motor manufacturers. The thesis covers an analysis of gear shifting from a kinematic perspective and includes a computational simulation of the motion of a model of a shifter and its shift cable in Ansys software. The simulation brings useful insights for understanding the real operation of the shifter and the stresses on its gear cable when the chain is shifted between the pinions. The work also describes new or underused drive concepts and their characteristics. The different concepts are also evaluated in terms of their application to different types of wheels. The main result of the work is a complex description of the most used bicycle drive trains. The thesis also analyses the development of gear trains, electric drives and gear shifting.
