Pélyová, Paulína ; Sedlák, Michal (advisor) ; Kafková, Helena (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to define a specific phenomenon bound to the current consumer society, which by its expression considers certain values and relations to the material world as necessary or, on the contrary, unnecessary. At the same time, it examines the boundary between consumer goods that we use on a daily basis and the subjects that have become part of our personality. These findings are demonstrated on specific examples. Telecommunication progress and its impact on today's consumer society in all aspects of nowadays lifestyle has become the starting point for the diploma work. Phone as an artifact has become part of our life with an ever more personal approach. This phenomenon is grasped theoretically, creatively and as an opportunity for pedagogical activity and research. Cube Fighter
Guba, Peter ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Švancara, Jiří (referee)
Real-time strategy games and action games are two very different types of computer games. In my project, I attempted to see whether they could be combined to make a coherent whole, with mixed results. The backbone of my game is its real-time strategy mode, inspired by Warcraft III and The Battle for Middle-earth 1 and 2. In this mode, the player can create buildings and units and use them to fight the enemy. The game also has another mode of playing which imitates action games. In it, the player only controls a single unit. The second mode ended up being just a fun add-on instead of an essential part of the gameplay as I had originally intended. The reason behind that wasn't that it would be impossible to make it so, but rather that it would require my game to be far more complex.

Types of civil actions in the civil process This graduation paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes an action as such. It covers most aspects of an action such as the elements of an action, defects, consequences of filing an action and possible dispositions. An analysis of these aspects should enhance the reader's orientation in the legal terms and help to understand the context and relations between individual types of actions in the following chapters. More focus was put on the prayer for relief as a key element used to categorise individual types of action. The section "Prayer for relief and its types" provides several examples that could help clarify the issue of their categorisation to the non-professional public. The second chapter describes the modern history of the types of actions and the development of procedural legislation. It also contains a reference to the new drafted rules of judicial procedure as a considered replacement of the current Rules of Civil Procedure. The third chapter provides a categorisation of actions and their individual types. Major focus is devoted to the highly discussed declaratory action, plea of res judicata, and the binding nature of the court's justification. Each analysed type of action contains at least one practical and informal...
Intrapsychic conflicts and their experiencing during the regulation of activity and behavior
Ondrejková, Marta ; Stehlík, Luděk (advisor) ; Novák, Ondřej (referee)
This bachelor thesis examines internal conflicts and their effect on inner experience and behaviour. The theoretical part of the thesis involves the description of the basic characteristics of conflict based on their content and categorisation; emotional, cognitive and behavioural components that contribute towards the creation of conflict; the dynamics of conflict and the possibilities of the regulation of the resulting tension. The goals of our work are to depict the impact of the internal conflict on the human mind and to identify the various approaches to conflict resolution. We have suggested dividing the intervention techniques into two main categories -direct and indirect techniques. In the empirical part of the thesis, we compare the effectiveness of such techniques in a form of an experiment. The participants are divided into the experimental groups according to the intervention technique applied. The measurements before and after the intervention will be evaluated with regards to the extension and severity of the internal conflict. Key words: Internal conflict - emotions - cognitive processes - behaviour - emotion regulation
