Reinforcing UX Principles in Existing User Interfaces
Pilát, Peter ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis explains meaning of user experience, its main aspects, selected methodology, its integration into agile development process and what UX maturity level can be represented in real company. It also deals with analysis of selected existing user interfaces used for network print management and its end users. Prototyping and user testing methods are iteratively applied to these user interfaces. Evaluation of these methods concludes the thesis with a recommendation what UX processes should be integrated for future development of user interfaces in Y Soft.
Multiagent Support for Strategic Games
Válek, Lukáš ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of framework for creation an articial opponents in strategy games. We will analyze different types of strategy games and artificial intelligence systems used in these types of games. Next we will describe problems, which can occur  in these systems and why agent-based systems makes better artificial opponents. Next we will use knowledge from this research to design and implement framework, which will act as support for creating an artificial intelligence in strategy games.
System for Capturing and Administration of New Shots of Historical Photographs
Ryšavý, Tomáš ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Čadík, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to develop a system for the management and creation of historical photographs and their rephotographs, which are modern images taken from the same place as their historical models were taken. Identical objects are precisely aligned in historical photography and its rephotography. This system consists of a web application based on the output of Martin Sikora's master's thesis and a mobile application based on the output of Adam Červenka's bachelor's thesis. The goal is to expand and publish a web application that allows users to add or search for historical photos or their rephotos. Users also can use the editor to create collages. The mobile application was also redesigned to expand the possibilities of the web application with the possibility of direct taking of photographs from a mobile device using an algorithm to make it easier to find the original place from which the historical photograph was taken.
Optimization of User Interface of an Information System
Vašina, Pavel ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The goal of this project is analysis of the original user interface of internal information system iAdmin belonging to Payment institution Roger a.s. company, finding and definition of its problems and implementation of its improvements with the use of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Python language, so it will be user friendly, more effective in production, and easily extensible in future.
Interactive Interface for Robot Remote Control for Android
Robotka, Vojtěch ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The development of autonomous robots has made a significant progress and first personal robots for common use start to appear. To use this robots, we need to develop applications and user interfaces to interact with them. The goal of this project is to make a universal interface for robot remote control. This work focuses on robots based on the ROS platform. This gives the final application a potential of use on other robotic projetcs running on ROS. The designed remote interface accomplishes two main purposes. The first is to show important data in a context of a 3D scene to help user understand the state of the controlled robot. And the second goal is to allow the user execute some basic manipulation with the robot. The final application was successfully adapted and tested on experimental robots Care-O-Bot and Turtlebot.
Development and implementation of software environment for human-robot communication
Ondryáš, Adam ; Bastl, Michal (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with a creation of software interface for communication between a user and a robotic system. State machine with a built-in voice synthesis was made within this work as well as user interface for interaction with a robotic system.
Virtual World
Hamal, Jakub ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to describe process of developing computer game and presentation of Unity3D game engine. Acquisition of knowledge is used to create simple application for PC. The first chapter of this thesis deals with describing proces sof komputer games developing, Unity3D game egnine and its Integrated Development Enviroment, known as Unity Editor is described in the sekond charter with other programs, uset to creating sample application. Last chapter deals with describing creation of application via using techniques and software, which are described in first two chapters.
Multi-Agent and Optimalisation Methods for Stealth Games
Láncoš, Jan ; Vídeňský, František (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the opponents' behaviour in stealth-based video games. It's main focus is the credibility of said behaviour in comparison to the opponents' real life counterparts and the overall immersiveness of the experience. The thesis describes the usage of the A* algorithm for dynamic pathfinding in a two-dimensional space. Furthermore it describes the opponents' patrolling system, their ability to detect the player's presence and also their ability to cooperate and communicate while trying to chase the player down. One playable level demonstrating the described behaviour has also been created as part of this thesis using the C++ language. The thesis can be used as an inspiration for anyone interested in making their own intelligent systems for computer games of a similar type.

Web Interface for Human Corrections of Automatic Transcript and Tagging
Plhal, Jan ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the design and implementation of a web application for human corrections of automatic transcript and annotation of VHF (very high frequency) pilot-tower radio communication. The main inspiration is the ATCO2 SpokenData annotation service from the company ReplayWell, which was remade from the ground up into a more user-friendly form with a number of user customizable elements. Based on studied principles of designing a well usable user interface and insights gained from research of annotation applications was created a functional design and also a graphical design of the application in the form of a wireframe. The designed application was successfully implemented using the selected technologies. The usability of the application was verified and improved with the help of user testing and the application was also deployed on the SpokenData website.
