Cause Related Marketing in relationship to the public sector

Diploma thesis "Cause Related Marketing in relationship to the public sector" deals with new phenomenon in area of marketing of companies, which is based on connection of business and public welfare activity. This type of marketing teaches big companies how to be responsible to social issues in certain country and society, how not to be indolent to minorities, interest groups, diseases and to other aspects of social need. Cause Related Marketing asserts on the base of connection of private and non-state non-profit sector by profiting on both of them. Company can on its base differ from competition and enhance the sale of their goods and services. For non-profit organizations it can be the contributions seen from new financial sources and in promoting their cause, which they are trying to solve. Otherwise, Cause Related Marketing is connected with concrete risks and the intervention of private sector into the public sector that can bring problems with definition of public interest. Then in consequence problems with selection of actual public and social issues to solve. Case Study of Responsible Together Campaign

The aim of this thesis is to analyze a media campaign called Responsible Together, which is focused on decrease of violence against women. Campaign Responsible Together is created by non-profit organizations that are part of civil society. This thesis brings a description of the creative process of the campaign, it's target group, and communication mix. One part of this thesis also introduces the specifics of marketing in the non-profit field. A case study was selected as a research design because it allows combining more than one method of collecting data. These methods were document analysis, analysis of graphics, and participatory observation.
Cooperation of non-governmental organisations and the Department of social and legal protection of children in Usti nad Labem and near surroundings

Main target of this master thesis is to determine ways of cooperation between Office for Social and Legal Protection of Children and nonprofit non-governmental organisations (NGOs) active in the same professional area in Ústí nad Labem and its surroundings. The paper introduces a case study aiming for deeper understanding of views and attitudes of workers from both institutions, their interconnectedness and interaction, identifying shortcomings and suggesting areas with potential of improvement. The theoretical framework consists of different typologies of government - NGOs relations, which are then applied to the context of the chosen location that represents a town with many socially excluded areas and other negative phenomena. This results in a specifically divided society and tense atmosphere in which both institutions operate as representatives of government and civil society.
Development of support for integration of migrants within non-governmental non-profit organizations between 1989 and 2004

The integration of migrants into society and the role of non-governmental non-profit organizations in this process is a highly discussed topic. This diploma thesis deals with the development of support for integration of migrants by these organizations in order to describe and analyze their activities. The thesis focuses on the specific period from November 1989 to the beginning of the year 2004 (before the Czech Republic joined the European Union). This period is characterized by gradually creating integration and migration policies of the state, which had to respond to the first arrival of migrants (refugees) to the Czech lands. For the purposes of the research of the diploma thesis, individual projects of non-governmental non- profit organizations were examined with the aim of finding out the topics and target groups they were dealing with, but also who and how supported them in order to trace certain development trends in defined years. Services for clients in conflict with the law in the context of the changed system of providing addiction treatment

Background: Care for addictological clients that have a conflict with the law has been provided by non-governmental organizations with this specialization for many years. From 2018, the prison service has begun to expand services for addictological clients with new jobs for civilian staff, for prison addictologists. The possibilities of addiction treatment in prison are becoming more diverse. The question is how the already established system of treatments is prepared for these changes from the point of view of employees of non-profit organizations. Aim: The main goal of this research is to present addiction treatments in prison provided by employees of the prison staff and services for clients in conflict with the law, provided by employees of non-governmental non-profit organizations who come to prisons. The essence of the research lies in finding out how the established system of services for clients in conflict with the law responds to changes in the prison system due to the newly estabilished position of prison addictologists and whether there is a certain cooperation between them. This diploma thesis deals with issues connected to human resource management in non-profit organisations, more precisely in scout organisations. The aim of this thesis is to analyse current state of training, motivation and evaluation of volun-teers in these organisations and make recommendations which could lead to more effective management in these areas. The first part provides an overview of studied topics and presents selected or-ganisations. The second part presents the results of quantitative and qualitative research and makes recommendations for the organisations based on these find-ings.

Manová, P. Specifics of non-governmental non-profit organizations in the area of financing and accounting. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel Univerzity in Brno, 2019. The Thesis deals with the financing and accounting of non-governmental non-profit organizations. The changes caused by the amendment to the Accountin Act no. 221/2015 Coll., effective from 1 January 2016, concerning the areas examined NGO are defined. The Thesis defines problem areas related to accounting and financing of these organizations. Comparison of the surveyed areas with business entities was carried out. An appropriate instruments for evaluating non-governmental non-profit organizations and the system of subsidies was examined, including its influence on the economy of these organizations. In the Thesis is evaluated an administrative burden of these entities in relations to the fulfillment of accounting and tax obligations.

Maják, M. Tax regime of non-profit organizations in the Visegrad Group countries. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The thesis deals with the tax regime and financing of non-profit organizations in the Vysegrad Group. The introduction of the thesis characterizes the legal aspects of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic. The taxation is formulated for purpose changes, recommendation and reduction of administrative costs for non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic. The aim of diploma in the financing is to quantify the financial impact on the state, the taxpayer and the non-profit or-ganization. The financial impact of the implementation of tax assignments has be-en quantified using three model situations. Recommendations and suggestions for better functioning of non-profit organizations are formulated in the conclusion.
Cooperation of the state and non-governmental non-profit organizations in combating labour exploitation in the Czech Republic

The submitted thesis focuses on the cooperation of the state and non-governmental non-profit organizations in fighting labour exploitation in the Czech Republic. It is one of the most frequent forms of the human trafficking in the CR. The thesis is based on several theories and concepts, such as the actor - network theory, the institutional theory, the Four "C" theory, the NNO theory or the dignified work concept. The thesis analyses the concept of the policy on labour exploitation in the Czech Republic with a focus on the cooperation of main actors from state and non-profit sectors in fighting labour exploitation and proposes how to improve this cooperation. The thesis defines different relevant terms as well as the term "labour exploitation". It also presents statistical data concerning this phenomenon. An analysis of policy documents on a transnational and national level is used to analyse the policy concept. The thesis also works with a quick analysis of actors and semi-structured interviews with eight experts from public and non-profit sector - specifically with employees of the Asylum and Migration Policy Department of the Ministry of the Interior, the Crime Prevention Department, the State Labour Inspection Office and with social workers of the non-profit organizations La Strada and...
