HR management in the Japanese small and middle-sized companies located in the Central Europe

The main objective of this thesis is to monitor and analyse the HR management currently applied in the Japanese small and medium-sized companies located in the Czech Republic. The thesis clarifies to the reader how these companies approach the HR management and compares their approaches with the ones from the best practices. Among others, the discussed areas further include standardised interviews and long-term experience of the Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic. In general, the thesis not only provides a comprehensive view of HR management in small and medium-sized enterprises, but it also focuses on the characteristics of the HR management in the selected Japanese small and medium-sized companies. The hypothesis of the thesis is that these companies have adapted their HR management to the conditions on the Czech market and they have adjusted to the local business environment. The hypothesis was proven based on the available documents and conducted interviews.
Entry of small and medium-sized enterprises of Czech Republic to European markets and selected instruments of their state and private support

This bachelor thesis deals with development and history of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic and their entry to European markets. The aim of this thesis is to analyse selected instruments of support of state and private institutions. The biggest attention is paid to CzechInvest (with operation programe OPPIK 2014 - 2020) and CzechTrade agencies and also to EGAP and ČEB institutions. This thesis also deals in detail with business incubator "South Moravian Innovation Centre" and opportunities which this centre provides to small and medium-sized enterprises. In the end of the thesis is evaluated one concrete company, its activities in South Moravian Innovation Centre and its reasons for expansion to foreign markets.
Business Plan

This Master's Thesis focuses on the elaboration of a business plan, the specific goal is to create a business plan intended to establish a restaurant in Kolin, whose vision is to provide services in the field of traditional Czech cuisine. Another goal of this work is to assess the viability of such a project. The work is divided into two main parts. The first - the theoretical part describes the structure of a business plan including specificity of small and medium-sized companies. The second - the practical part applies the theoretical part to the real establishment of restaurant. Great attention is paid to the financial plan and the related verification whether such an enterprise could prosper in the long term.
European private company (SPE)

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the statute of a European private company (SPE)- a new European limited liability company intended for small and medium sized enterprises. In the thesis there is a summary of all the initiatives prior to the proposal for the Council regulation on the Statute for a European private company. There is also a summary of the proposal itself and the main characteristics of the company followed by a summary of a number of compromise proposals trying to find a suitable solution for the main problematic areas. After considering advantages and disadvantages of the statute of a European private company, the thesis concludes that the statute would a beneficial factor for the EU due to improvements for the European market and conditions for small and medium sized enterprises.
Entry Options of Foreign Companies into the Chinese Real Estate Market and Related Sectors

This thesis deals with the entry options of European SME companies into the Chinese sanitary market. The paper identifies four main objectives, which are: 1. Introduce the entry options of foreign companies into the Chinese market. 2. Summarize the development of China's real estate market. 3. Compare selected foreign companies in the Chinese sanitary ware market. 4. Evaluate whether the entry of a European SME into the Chinese sanitary market would be a strategically correct step. The thesis is divided into three chapters. These chapters are divided into two sections. The first chapter is the theoretical foundation of the thesis. It introduces motives and entry options of companies into foreign markets in terms of theory, and motives and general options of entering the Chinese market. The second chapter deals with the Chinese real estate market and related sectors. The related sectors are specified on furniture and sanitary market. The third chapter introduces foreign manufactures of sanitary ware on the Chinese market -- American company Kohler, Spanish company Roca and Czech company Ravak. The second part of the third chapter evaluates the felicitous target group, geographic location, marketing and sales options of the foreign companies in the Chinese market. At the end of this chapter a potential entry of European SME into the Chinese sanitary market is evaluated.
Business plan of a new company

The aim of this Master's Thesis is to set up an initial business plan of the ice cream shop in the busy touristic area of the capital city of Prague. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of the small and medium enterprise segment in the Czech Republic and the local entrepreneurial environment in comparison with other European countries according to regularly compiled international reports. Additionally, an analyses of specific consumer behaviour will be carried out. The end of the theoretical part introduces the generally recommended structure of a business plan describing closer its respective parts. The practical part applies this structure into practise based on the example of the initial business plan in the traditional ice cream branch. The plan presents a new concept of selling the ice cream including the supplement products. It strives to reflect the up-to-date market needs which were revealed through the conveyed market research. The output of this thesis presents the conclusion regarding the feasibility and attractiveness of this contemplated project that can subsequently serve as a material for the internal management.
IFRS for SMEs applied to a specific company

The thesis deals with the International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium Enterprises (IFRS for SMEs). The theoretical part provides information on the origin and development of this standard, including its current expansion across the European Union and beyond. The theoretical part also includes the definition of "small and medium enterprises" defined acording to the IASB and the EU. The individual rules of IFRS for SMEs and their practical application is captured in the second part, which outlines the procedure for the transition of the financial statements selected Czech company that uses the Czech accounting standards into those of the IFRS for SMEs with emphasis on capturing individual adjustments primarily in the actual balance sheet.
Opportunities in expanding to foreign markets of small and medium-sized enterprises

This master thesis aims to explore the conditions of small and medium-sized enterprises in expanding to foreign markets and to find opportunities that will help these businesses to grow. By opportunity it is meant the company's own effort, or state and non-state support of SME's. In the thesis there is analyzed the situation of SME's in the Czech market and the services and support that businesses can use while expanding abroad, it also analyses the modern methods in this area. The aim of the thesis is to analyze trends in the field of internationalization of SMEs, to identify the key needs of Czech companies and to compare them with the actual support offered in the Czech market. Based on a comparison with foreign practice, namely New Zealand, it should propose new ways and opportunities in the process of expansion.

The first part examines export weaknesses and risks and their impacts on German economy. The second part investigates and evaluates the institutional arrangement of the foreign trade promotion system and compares it with selected European economies.
Implementation of Self-Service BI at MVNO GoMobil

The main objectives of this work are determining Self-Service Business Intelligence as one of Business Intelligence approaches, description and characterization of Qlik Sense and finally development of particular solution using the above tool. In the first part thesis deals with the theoretical side of the approach, describes its advantages and disadvantages and users coming into contact with the respective technologies. Subsequently, thesis specifies requirements for Self-Service Business Intelligence and mentions different requirements and sizes of solutions in organizations. At the end recommendations for the implementation of the approach and technologies are mentioned. The second part is devoted to Qlik Sense platform, as one of the representatives based on the Self-Service approach. At first basic features, options and benefits are described. Then the development of solutions and principles of work with this tool are explained. Finally, architecture of enterprise server solution is described together with installation steps and basic configuration of a Qlik Sense site. The third part is focused on mobile virtual operator GoMobil, its current state, Business Intelligence needs and last but not least the requirements and development of solution using Qlik Sense platform.
