Frequency and Transient Responses Based on Differential Equations
Turoňová, Lenka ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šátek, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the investigation of amplitude and phase frequency responses of linear electrical circuits. It compares classical methods of investigation using a symbolic-complex method with investigation using differential equations. For graphical representation of the responses in the case of the symbolic-complex method there was used for demonstration of examples programs MATLAB and Maple. The aim of this work was also to create graphical user interface over TKSL/C, which allows input of differential equations and plotting amplitude and phase frequency responses.
Animation and calculation of cyclic curves in Maple
Novák, Jiří ; Hoderová, Jana (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
The main goal of the thesis was to deal with the topic of cyclic curves and creating interactive maplets that would illustrate creating and characteristics of these curves. The final version includes maplet with plotting parametric curve, maplet with computing curvature, maplet for all the types of cyclic curves, set of maplets for interactive change of parameters and set of maplets that would illustrate creating each cyclic curve (with animation). The thesis also contains a theoretical part dedicated to the theory of cyclic curves.
Coverage-Driven Testing for Multithreaded Programs
Lietavcová, Zuzana ; Šimková, Hana (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with a problem of searching errors in multithreaded programs using a coverage-driven testing technique as perceived in program Maple. The testing consists of two phases. In the first phase of testing a set of coverable behaviours of the tested program is being built. Consequently, the algorithm tries to achieve these behaviours with a help of deterministic test execution. The main acquisition of the work lays in a compact description of Maple including all the technical details. Based on the study of the tool there were weak places identified. Some of them are studied in detail, especially those which use random decision making and prioritizing of the forced behaviours. The result are several modifications of Maple, from which some lead to a higher number of exposed behaviours and higher error exposition in some cases. This is demonstrated on a test suite of parallel programs.
Selection of suitable fluid flow directions in laminar flow tubular cooler
Krobot, David ; Kohoutek, Josef (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This master’s thesis is devoted to problematic of selection of suitable flow directions in double pipe heat exchanger. First chapter is oriented to the construction of tube heat exchangers. It is also discussed impact of construction solution to the flow character and changing of his process parameters. The difference between parallel and countercurrent flow is also occurred in this parts. The next chapter is focused to the basics of heat-hydraulic calculations of heat exchanger. This also means explanation of ways of heat transfer and heat exchanger function. There are told about specific access to the solving problem of fluid laminar flow. The third chapter is detailed focused to the calculating of heat exchanger. At first is discussed factors, which have impact to the flow character. Next are detailed descriptions of design and controlling calculations, including more alternative ways to solve it. Next chapter exploit those results for deciding, which flow arrangement will be better for given case. Last chapter contain realization and reformulating of process heat exchanger calculating to the program code in Maple. There is also description of used algorithms and operating with them, so any user could be able to work with it. In this master’s thesis are used many examples from attached programs on different parts.
Financial Analysis of the Company with the Maple System Support
Horáková, Eva ; Švehla, Michal (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the financial analysis of the company TRON ELEKTRONICKÉ SOUČÁSTKY s.r.o. and comparing with competitor. One of it´s parts is theory, which includes chosen financial indicators and system Maple, graphic representations and verbal interpretation. Both of companies are compared and at the end the precautions for improving company are suggested.
Phillips Curve in Conditions of the Czech Republic
Musilová, Simona ; Půža, Bedřich (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the Phillips curve in conditions of the Czech economics. Validity of the substitution relationship between the rate of inflation and the unemployment rate is testing by regression analysis on real data of the Czech Republic during years 1996–2016. In order to better explain variability of the dependent variable, the model is expanded by inflation expectations, which corresponds to the development of the economic theory of the Phillips curve. After that the Phillips curve for the Czech Republic is constructed in Maple using the systems of differential equations.
The Way to Better Future Means to Understand the Past The Math Modelling
Míková, Libuše ; Papírník, Jaromír (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
The main aim of my diploma thesis is to prepare easy math model, which can help to understand the development of economic indicators in time. This math model will show the dependence and important moment in their development and can help to improve the efficiency of company. All math models will be working up in system Maple which is very good helper in working up of big group of data. The partial aim is to show characteristics of company, to valorize the efficiency of company and compare this efficiency with main competitors. The results will be recommendations which should help positive influence the future efficiency of company, help with choose of strategy and the make a better position on the market.
Maple application for performing numerical calculations of examples from
Dřímal, Josef ; Malenovský, Eduard (referee) ; Malenovský, Eduard (referee) ; Pellant, Karel (advisor)
The main purpose of this work is to provide the possibilities of the application of the mathematical software Maple for the solution of practical exercises from solid state mechanics. The examples from kinematics and dynamics are presented, but the relationship to the other subject fields at FME (with the inclusion of informatics) is evident.
Corporate Performance Analysis Using the Maple System
Kalabis, Petr ; Hřebíček, Jiří (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of company´s performance using the economic ratios and time series. Firstly it was created the easily operating application - maplet, due to the Maple computer system, for the corresponding calculation and graphical projection. The thesis contains the proposals and suggestions for the improvement of financial company´s situation, what is included in the calculations and projections mentioned and they can next be used for the changes of planned strategies in future.
Vplyv extrémneho umyvacieho procesu na pevnosť v ohybe lepeného spoja v listnatom dreve
Tuhý, Dušan
The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of the effect of the washing process on the bending strength of the glued joint in a special solid wood panel made of hardwood. The goal was to analyze currently available adhesives and types of joints in solid wood panels and to deal with the issue of the washing process and its influence. The selected glue was PVAc glue Rakoll ® GXL 4 and a butt joint, and then the changes in bending strength were compared on wood samples from beech, oak, ash and maple after thirty cycles of an intensive washing process using cleaning tablets and subsequent acclimatization of the samples. These were compared with samples that did not undergo the cleaning process.
