Surveillance and Personal Data Protection

This diploma thesis deals with the surveillance and private data protection. The first part brings into the focus the theoretical definition of surveillance and the areas in which it is applied. Important role in this thesis has also it's historical development. For example there will be introduced the historical resolution according to David Lyon to premodern, modern and postmodern surveillance, Michel Foucault's view on the surveillance of the state over it's citizens or society of control of Gilles Deleuze. The second part of this thesis will move to concepts as personal data and their protection. I will define what privacy and personal data means and what is it's value to each of us. This thesis will continue with current legal aspects not only in the Czech Republic but within whole European union. As the next important topic will follow the new regulation of European Union dealing with personal data, so called GDPR that comes into the force next year and it's possible benefits for contemporary situation. Importance and development of village settlements in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with village settlements in the Czech Republic. First, the term village and other related terms are defined. The village is perceived from the point of view of legislation and spatial planning. The introductory part also includes a description of the historical development and structure of the villages and mentions folk architecture. The main part of the work is focused on the current state of Czech villages. There is a general analysis covering areas such as public space, public amenities, green, transport, monuments, or new development. The analysis was applied to villages located in the administrative district of the municipality with extended powers of Kroměříž and to the municipality of Rataje. Based on the findings, it evaluates villages and outlines the possibilities for their future development.
History of primary school in Výprachtice

Language teaching on French Institute of Prague

This bachelor thesis aims at analytical description of French language education at the French Institute in Prague. Firstly, it describes development, function and organisation of the French Institute in Prague and its affection by important historical events during 20th century. Furthermore, the thesis thoroughly describes several French language courses, which are currently being taught at the French Institute in Prague and their development. Next part focuses on training and education of French teachers and simultaneously refers to useful pedagogical materials. Important part of this thesis is a description of educational methods at the French Institute in Prague, introduction of teacher's role and lecture's flow. In this context, an interest is given to demands of the French Institute in Prague on their lecturers and integration issue of new members to the lecturer's group at the French Institute. Lastly, the thesis covers a summary of language certificates issued by the French Institute. Development of Lien in Czech countries

1 Development of Lien in Czech Countries Abstract The diploma thesis examines the development of lien in the Czech countries. The first part is focused on the theoretical description of the laws of lien from the point of view of today's legal theory. The theoretical description shall help the reader with better orientation and understanding of the basic principles of the lien, which developments are examined in the following parts. One of the main goals of the diploma thesis in the second part is to describe the development of lien, using the description method. The development of lien is described from its beginnings in Roman law which fundamentally shaped the next development of lien, through the Middle Ages, where the laws of lien were partly fragmented, until current legislation which mostly follows the Roman law heritage. In the second part of the diploma thesis, the main emphasis is placed on the development of lien after the year 1811, where are also considered the significant social and economic events in the history of the Czech countries, which visibly shaped the forms of lien. Here are described techniques of veneering, intarsia, inlay, marquetry and parquetry. It is explained the birth of the techniques, characteristics, used materials and historical development. The result of this bachelor thesis is comparison of the main characteristics of those decorative techniques in the age of their birth and at the present.
Development of public care institutions for the elderly in the Czech lands with special regard to period since 1918

The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the development of public institutions for the care of the elderly in the Czech lands. Specifically, these are institutions that existed here in our territory before in the past and which tried to play the role of today's homes for the elderly. The thesis aims to focus on the historical development of senior homes in the Czech lands. In order to explore this topic, it focuses not only on the diversity of care, accommodation, diet, forms of entertainment and other factors that have been observed in institutions for the elderly in the past, but also on public policy aspects such as laws, decrees or other legislation relating to these institutions. Using literature search, legislation and analysis of relevant sources related to individual institutions, data were collected on the development of public institutions caring for the elderly. The bachelor's thesis also shows the development of the welfare state in the Czech territory and shows the trends that appeared in the development of these institutions and captures the individual institutions in what they really were. Kohoutovice - city district of three centers

The work in the introductory part briefly outlines the historical and current development of the Kohoutovice district in terms of historical events and urban development. Subsequently, the work focuses on a detailed analysis of the three potential centers of this city district. Each center is evaluated on the basis of predetermined criteria that describe the relationship of the selected centers to their visitors. The analyzed criteria are then evaluated and compared in order to select the most suitable of the three solved areas for building a full-fledged cultural core of the municipality and a cultural background for the Kohoutovice citizens with regard to the future urban development of the municipality.
Development of ski boots from the beginning of skiing to the present

Title: Development of ski boots from the beginning of skiing to the present Objectives: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to create a comprehensive and chronological development of ski boots used in various forms of skiing from the beginning to the present. Methods: The thesis has a historical focus. It is a qualitative research. The method used was mainly document analysis. Secondary documents in particular were used. These were domestic and foreign magazines, book publications with ski themes and internet resources. The information was also obtained in the archives and in two museums - Krkonošské museum in Jilemnice and Ski museum in Harrachov where an interview with the owner was taken. Results: Until the end of the 19th century, one universal shoe was used for downhill, cross- country and ski jumping. It was not until the 1930s with the advent of kandahar binding that the shoes began to differ for the various forms of skiing. Initially they were made of leather for lacing, then came metal buckles. Another revolutionary change was the use of plastic and synthetic materials.
