Bakalářská práce se zabývá historií vývoje veřejných institucí péče o staré lidi v českých zemích. Konkrétně se jedná o instituce, které zde na našem území existovaly dříve v minulosti a které se snažily zastávat roli dnešních domovů pro seniory. Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl věnovat se historickému vývoji domovů pro seniory na českém území. Abych mohl toto téma zkoumat, zaměřím se nejen na různost péče, ubytování, stravy, forem zábavy a jiných faktorů, které byly vypozorovány u institucích pro staré lidi v době minulé, ale také na veřejně politická hlediska jako jsou zákony, vyhlášky či jiná legislativa vztahující se k těmto institucím. Pomocí studia literatury, legislativy a analýzy relevantních zdrojů vztahujících se k jednotlivým institucím, byla sesbírána data ohledně vývoje veřejných institucí pečujících o staré lidi. Práce dále ukazuje vývoj sociálního státu na českém území a zobrazuje trendy, které se objevovaly ve vývoji těchto institucí, a zachycuje jednotlivé instituce v tom, jaké opravdu byly. The bachelor thesis deals with the history of the development of public institutions for the care of the elderly in the Czech lands. Specifically, these are institutions that existed here in our territory before in the past and which tried to play the role of today's homes for the elderly. The thesis aims to focus on the historical development of senior homes in the Czech lands. In order to explore this topic, it focuses not only on the diversity of care, accommodation, diet, forms of entertainment and other factors that have been observed in institutions for the elderly in the past, but also on public policy aspects such as laws, decrees or other legislation relating to these institutions. Using literature search, legislation and analysis of relevant sources related to individual institutions, data were collected on the development of public institutions caring for the elderly. The bachelor's thesis also shows the development of the welfare state in the Czech territory and shows the trends that appeared in the development of these institutions and captures the individual institutions in what they really were.
