Residential building
Sojčák, Patrik ; Vlach, František (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the project for realisation of the construction of the apartment building with almost zero consumption of energy. The main goals of the thesis include design of layout, construction and material solutions. Apartment building is located open land in north-east part of city part Brno-Lisen. It is four story fully basement building. None of the apartments are design for people with limited mobility, however the entrance to building is barrier-free. The vertical bearer structure of overground part of building is made of sand/lime bricks, the vertical bearer structure of underground part of the building is made of reinforced concrete beams and walls. The building is based on reinforced concrete slab because of bad geotechnical conditions in the area. Perimeter walls of overground part of the building are created as sandwich walls from sand-lime bricks and thermal insulation. Underground perimeter walls are created from reinforced concrete with thermal insulation. Horizontal bearer structure is made od reinforced, monolithic concrete slabs. The roof is design as a flat single-skin roof with walking function. The apartment building has 24 apartments, storage units and underground parking spaces. The building has been assessed for fire safety, thermal engineering, acoustics, sunlight and daylight and has met all investments and state regulatory requirements.

Žemla, Jakub ; Řihák, Pavel (referee) ; Kantová, Radka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the construction technology stage of the superstructure of an apartment building in Karlovy Vary. The main objective is to design optimal procedures and technologies for the construction of the superstructure, which includes monolithic reinforced concrete structures, infill masonry, and related works. The thesis provides detailed descriptions of technological processes such as formwork, rebar tying, concreting, and curing of concrete structures, as well as organizational aspects of the construction including material supply, storage, and sanitary facilities for workers. The analysis focuses on the economic comparison of different technological process variants and their impact on the project’s time and financial schedule. The result is a recommendation of the most efficient construction variant that meets the requirements for quality, safety, and economic efficiency.
