Comparison of the Influence of Advertising on Consumer Behavior of selected Groups of Czechs and Vietnamese

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the influence of advertisement on consumer behavior of selected groups, specifically the younger generation of Czechs and Vietnamese living in the Czech republic. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to defining terms used in marketing, advertising, consumer behavior and factors by which the consumer behavior is influenced. The practical part contains the characteristics of the selected groups and the evaluation of the online survey. The conclusion of this thesis gives the interpretation of the survey results focusing on the comparison of Czech and Vietnamese consumers.
Czech-British cultural standards: comparison of work and business relations

The aim of this thesis is to identify and evaluate cultural standards at workplace and business environment from perspective of Czechs who live or lived in Great Britain or are in long-term work or business relationship with British. The theoretical part deals with culture theory, cultural dimensions and fields of intercultural cooperation. The practical part gives basic socio-economical and historical analysis of Great Britain. The research is conducted according to cultural standards identification method, specifically by in-depth interviews. Cultural standard findings are analyzed on theoretical basis and on socio-economic and historical context of Great Britain. Last, the author gives recommendation to Czechs who plan to work or trade with British.
Conflicts and co-existence in Czech-German relations

This bachelor thesis focuses on the often discussed topic of Czech-German relations, their development both in the past and present, elaborating on mutual relations and co-operation in border regions after the fall of Iron Curtain. In the introductory part, history of co-existence of Czech and German nations on the present day Czech territory is outlined, as it was forcibly brought to an end by the World War II and its aftermath in terms of expulsion of German speaking population. It was not until the end of the ideological conflict between East and West that the relations were fully revived and restored. The goal of the thesis is not only to evaluate Czech-German relations from a historical point of view, but also to describe their development and mutual understanding of the two neighboring nations using the example of real story of two communities in border regions after the year 1989.
The issue of the German ethnic group status in inter-war Czechoslovakia shown in the Nejdek distric example

The subject of this dissertation thesis is investigating the issue of the German ethnic group status in inter-war Czechoslovakia shown in the example of the Nejdek political district with the emphasis on the major and crucial aspects of social life - politics, economic and social issues while the assistance and support elements include: demographics, border issues, the presence of the Czech ethnic group, a preview of own (German) history and the development of churches and religion. The Nejdek political district is set within a framework of regional history with regard to the historical context of the development of Czechoslovakia, or even of the world in some cases. The regional history presented here in the form of a probe from the perspective of great historical events and partly through micro-history aim to build on the broad source base and capture the impacts and effects of national policies on shaping of the Nejdek region and its inhabitants. In some ways, when possible of course, research methods are applied. Socio-economic transformation of kicker societies and formation of football clubs in Prague cities and suburbs before The Great War

The most popular game all over the world has entered the territory of Bohemia already in the last decades of the 19th century, when especially in the cities and suburbs of Prague many Czech or German societies, engaged in new game from England called "football", was founded. Sudden and long lasting interruption of positive development of young sport by mobilization in the summer of 1914 and deep political and social changes after conflict isolated prewar events and made unique relict environment that creates the main sources for ideas of work. However chapters leaving sport performances aside and try to describe the period culminating after year 1900, when profesional player was born of student-enthusiast and when club loyalities based on nationality or social inclusion of spectator have been created. To achive a comprehensive view is also important to describe ideological orientation and economy of clubs, topography of Prague grounds or relationships between biggest clubs SK Slavia, AC Sparta, SK Viktoria Žižkov and DFC Prag, which was litmus paper of attitudes with German etnicity.
