Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zmapování aktivit Evropské komise v rámci informování veřejnosti o otázkách evropské integrace prostřednictvím internetu. Práce je rozdělena do 3 dílčích kapitol. V úvodní kapitole jsou popsány dřívější i aktuální informační politika EU a související legislativa. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje serveru EUROPA a poukazuje na moderní trendy v jeho vývoji. Kapitola třetí mapuje současný stav vybraných tématických portálů. V závěrečné části práce jsou shrnuta zjištěná fakta jakožto výsledek práce.

Perception and production of graphic design in different cultures

The modern world is more and more dependent on information. As grows its importance, so does its quantity. That is why the good communication, especially the visual one, is indispensable for the proper disclosure and addressing of potential recipients of information. Graphic design provides the form of visual communication. The interconnection of different cultures is linked with the quick pace of globalization - thus the communication with different cultures is important. Each culture is based on specific values that can vary and very often do to a great extent. These values are then reflected in all areas of human activity, graphic design included. At first, we define the term culture and have a look at the process by which we acquire it - to find out its influence on us. We use as a means the interdisciplinary approach which draws knowledge on cognitive science, neuroscience, psychology and anthropology. Next, we focus on the principles of visual perception and studies concerning the difference in behavior and visual perception in different cultures. We divide the world on the basis of culture-shape events into different cultural units and we analyze graphic design in different cultures by using the knowledge from the previous chapters. We point out the principles and potential pitfalls of symbols and colors in the communication with other cultures. We describe the way how the paradigm of cultural values is reflected in the graphic design and we try to capture the features of visual communication typical for each culture.

This thesis considers an evaluating the fulfilling a Social Services Community Plan in the town Pribram. First described the basic starting point of community planning. After that follows mapping the current status of community planning in the town Pribram by the scheduled activities. The fulfilling of Social services community plan in the town Pribram is first evaluated for each priority area and in the end as a whole. The thesis also contains proposals to improve the situation.

Reduction of antenatal sress through music-therapy

The goal of this paper is to find whether music therapy is one of the means to be used to increase parental readiness for childbirth. The theoretic section is discussing the psychological aspects of pregnancy. One of the chapters is briefly describing the psychological aspects of childbirth. Further on, a demarcation of music therapy and its main forms is introduced. Perception of music by mother and the unborn child is described giving an enumeration of various music activities and music therapy techniques to be performed in a group of expectant mothers and their partners. The practical section is a presentation of my research concerning impact of music therapy techniques and music activities on stress level during pregnancy. Usage of such music therapy techniques during psycho-prophylactic preparation of expectant mothers and their partners for the childbirth is discussed. The first research topic ("A") is focused on the stress, anxiety and tension levels. This is done through a series of questionnaires collected during the cycle of three sessions called "music activities with elements of music therapy" attended by pregnant women with partners. Raman optical activity and conformation of structurally important groups in peptides and proteins

Raman optical activity (ROA) represents a modern spectroscopic technique that can be applied to a wide range of chiral molecules starting from small organic molecules up to complex biomolecular systems. Among other things ROA provides information about solution structure of peptides and proteins. The aim of the thesis was to determine the relationship between three-dimensional structure and Raman optical activity of disulphide and amide groups in peptides. Characteristic band patterns of the polyproline II conformation (left-handed 31-helix) were found in the ROA spectra of poly(Pro-Gly-Pro), oxytocin and hinge peptide linked to the antigen sequence. ROA signal in the S-S and C-S stretching region was observed in ROA spectra of model cyclodextrin compounds connected with disulphide bonds. Positive ROA band in the S-S stretching region was found in the ROA spectrum of oxytocin (the peptide with one S-S bridge). According to the theoretical studies of model disulphides, positive ROA signal in this region indicates positive dihedral angle C- S-S-C. This result is in agreement with the crystal structure. We have also worked on extension of ROA measurements to the hydrogen stretching region (2500-3200 cm-1).

Tématem práce jsou dokumentové dodavatelské služby. Cílem práce je popsat a zhodnotit moderní principy a fungování dodavatelských služeb (DDS). Hlavní pozornost je zaměřena na fungování systémů dodávání dokumentů ve firemní praxi. Práce se věnuje také terminologii a vymezení pojmů týkající se oblasti služeb dodávání dokumentů a oblasti meziknihovních služeb, historií těchto služeb a rozšířením. Součástí práce je také právní rámec, který vymezuje podmínky elektronického dodávání dokumentů (EDD) v České republice.

Modern women's narrative writing in Islamic countries (Iran - Saudi Arabia)

The aim of the thesis Modern Women's Narrative Writing in Islamic Countries (Iran - Saudi Arabia) is to compare the situation of women writers on the Iranian and Saudi literary stages, to give an overview of the literary activities of the women fiction writers from both countries, to track down thematic motifs in the chosen writers' works, and to compare the authors' approaches to particular motifs. In order that the view of the situation in both societies is complete, the thesis includes also a brief historical/political development of both states in the time relevant for the modern literary output, that is the 19th and 20th centuries till today. The second chapter serves the same purpose as the first one, it describes and compares the women's situation in the Iranian and Saudi societies, and the local women's movements, for there has always been a link between women's literary activities and their emancipatory efforts.

The eminent Korean women writers in the second half of the 20th century

Tato bakalářská práce pod názvem: "Významné korejské spisovatelky druhé poloviny 20. století" se zabývá korejskou ženskou prózou 20. století, a to od jejích prvních výrazných představitelek, až po nejvýraznější představitelky dnešní doby. Nemůžeme použít termín "všeobecně známé", a to z důvodů dodnes silně zakotveného korejského patriarchálního systému, díky kterému není například látka týkající se žen-spisovatelek zahrnuta do školních osnov. Na vlastní kůži jsem měla možnost pocítit v korejské společnosti přetrvávající tabu a dodržování nepsaného zákoníku vztahů mezi pohlavími, což ještě umocnilo můj zájem o moderní korejskou ženskou prózu. Autorky Pak Wan-sn, Han Mu-suk, Han Mal-suk, Kang Sin-dža jsou všeobecně uznávané ve světových literárních kruzích a díky překladům jejich děl do angličtiny a jiných jazyků, popřípadě i češtiny, se s jejich dílem měla možnost seznámit široká veřejnost. Cílem mé práce je obeznámit čtenáře s okolnostmi, ve kterých se tyto ženy objevily na literárním poli, se specifiky každé z nich a s přehledem toho nejdůležitějšího, co napsaly. Vzhledem k tomu, že tato generace není v moderní korejské literatuře první, pocítila jsem potřebu zahrnout do práce ženy, které se svými neúnavnými aktivitami zasadily o uchycení pojmu "spisovatelka" na korejské literá~í scéně. Prevention of Social Pathological Phenomenons at Primary School - School Methodist for Prevention

My diploma thesis is mainly concerned with the prevention of the social pathological phenomenons on the primary and secondary schools and the role of the school methodist of prevention. The first section contains terminology and legislation from the domain of prevention, the rest of it take care of description of external and internal preventist operating at the primary schools. In the second part I am trying to make reader familiar with the basic competitions of prevention and with methods and forms of education, capable of passing desired behavioural models and social skills to the students of primary schools. The third part is devoted to the school methodist of prevention, to the description of his activities at the primary schools, his competencies. Along with it, there are informations about Minimal prevention program - basic set of rules and suggestions for prevention. The fourth part is dedicated to opinion poll amongst the school metodist of prevention in the area of Mlada Boleslav.

Specificity of unit linked life insurance

V rámci diplomové práce je popsán vývoj a základní charakteristiky investičního životního pojištění. Podstatná část práce je věnována samotné konstrukci zmíněného pojistného produktu. Nejprve se zaobírá investiční částí produktu, tedy tématem podílových fondů, oceněním podílových jednotek a strukturou příslušných poplatků. Posléze přechází k části týkající se samotného pojištění a popisuje postup při odvození pojistné částky, pojistného plnění a opět rozebírá strukturu příslušných poplatků. Pozornost je soustředěna taky na moderní metody v pojišťovnictví, které jsou využívány i při konstrukci investičního životního pojištění. Podrobně je rozebírán hlavně profit testing a analýza citlivosti. V závěru jsou popsány specifika trhu investičního životního pojištění ve Velké Británii a v České republice.
