The Process of Regional Integration in the Southern African Developing Region

In my bachelor thesis I am concerning with the questions of the process of regional integration in the Southern african developing region. In the first chapter emphasis on economic level of member states is placed. I am trying to describe the needs for economic integration. Following chapters are about separate regional intergrations of which the establishment took place. Emphasis is placed on Southern African Customs Union (SACU),Southern African Development Community(SADC) and African Economic Forum(AEC). Purposes of the establishment, goals, development and structures of those integrations are mentioned and analysed.

Analysis of economic relations between the Czech republic and a chosen country

This bachelor thesis examines the current situation in economic relations between the Czech republic and Israel. It places emphasis on mutual business relations. A big part deals with social, political and above all economic characteristics of Israel and analyses relevant factors concerning foreign trade. Foreign trade is examined from historical outlook as well as from the outlook of current structure including the influence of membership in international organizations and contract basis. The emphasis is placed on the EUROMED agreement which sets the tone in relations between the two countries. There is also a forecast of future development and perspectives for czech companies. Cultural differences between the countries and their influence on business meetings also play a big part in the thesis. This section also includes general advice concerning religion, communication, work hours etc.

Vliv struktury sourozenců na dětskou práci a školní docházku

In scholarly literature the impact of sibling structure is commonly examined in connection with child health and school attendance. The aim of my bach- elor thesis is to determine what influence has the particular sibling structure on child labor, which is not studied so often, and the school attendance re- lated to the subject. The first part dwells on models of resource allocation within household and description of basic mechanisms regarding the method in which the structure of siblings influences resource allocation within house- hold. Main emphasis is laid on theoretical model with household production. Hypothesis about effect of sibling structure is then empirically tested using data from two African countries - Sierra Leone and Niger. Based on this analysis, it is possible to conclude that particular structure of siblings do not have fundamental influence on recourse allocation within household. Last but not least, reasons of differences between chosen countries are discussed in the conclusion.

Electrostimulation method for cardiomyocyte life extension

This work deals with electrostimulation cardiomyocytes and design stimulation device for their cultivation and stimulation. First part of work deals with electrophysiological myocytes and the next problems with electrostimulation and preserved their original morphology and physiology structure. The following section is designed and constructed stimulation device to improve cell viability. Stimulation took place under different conditions and the success rate depends on the number of cells that survived.

Title: Analysis of teaching geography in upper secondary educational level in Germany Author: Bc. This thesis contains an analysis of the conception of geographical education on ISCED level 3 in Germany. It aims to answer the following basic conceptual questions: Under which conditions is geography being taught? In what manner is geography being taught? What are the expected effects of geographical education on the pupils? During the discussion of conditions, the current status of geography as a teaching subject is presented and the possibilities for cross-curricular collaboration are pointed out. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of form and content, learning objectives/goals and creation of geographical skills. Another part of the thesis is the description of the process and methods used to evaluate the gained geographical knowledge of pupils. The basic method for obtaining relevant data is content analysis of the curricula of the federal states of Germany, resulting in a set of complete record sheets. Qulitative and Quantitative Research into the Performance of a Top Level Goalkeeper in Football

Kvalitativní a kvantitativní výzkum činnostních struktur brankáře fotbalu by měl určit obecně platné principy herní struktury výkonu brankáře, případně ukázat nové trendy a poskytnout srovnávací studii nejlepších brankářů Evropy- brankářů nejlepších evropských družstev na ME 2004 ve fotbale. Na týmovém herním výkonu se během utkání v kopané podílí jak hráči v poli, tak i brankář. I když jsou obě tyto role součástí celku, požadavky kladené na hráče na těchto postech během utkání se výrazně liší. Brankář totiž provádí odlišné individuální herní činnosti než hráči v poli a je při tom vystaven také daleko větší psychické zátěži, neboť jeho případná chyba se do vývoje utkání může promítnout daleko více, než chyba hráče v poli. A právě analýza individuálních herních výkonů brankářů na evropském šampionátu 2004 v Portugalsku, bude tvořit převážnou náplň mé diplomové práce. Mým cílem je na základě rozboru videozáznamů z utkání ME 2004 v Portugalsku, pomocí metod kvantitativního a kvalitativru'ho výzkumu vytvořit tzv. činnostní profil této hráčské funkce a zachytit kritická místa výkonu brankáře během utkání. Public-private partnership and its possibility of usage in social services in Czech Republic

Základními východisky pro sepsání této práce bylo přijetí dvou klíčových zákonů, tj. nového zákona o sociálních službách a zákona o koncesních smlouvách a koncesním řízení, tzv. koncesního zákona. Koncesní zákon spolu s novelou zákona o veřejných zakázkách vytvořil společný základ pro právní regulaci PPP. V souvislosti se zákonem o sociálních službách se zase otevřel potenciální prostor pro vznik PPP projektů v oblasti sociálních služeb. Tím, že zákon přiznal příjemci sociálních služeb adresnou finanční dávku, vytvořil poměrně rozsáhlou možnost participace soukromého sektoru v této oblasti. Zkoumáním a porovnáváním nutných podmínek této spolupráce jsme se snažili nalézt alespoň teoretickou odpověď na naši první otázku. Protože příklad použití PPP v oblasti sociálních služeb v České republice zatím neexistuje, popsali jsme pro ilustraci a inspiraci pět zahraničních případových studií. Ačkoli víme, že ne vždy a všude lze beze zbytku využít příkladů dobré praxe z jiných zemí (mají odlišné tradice, jiný právní systém, jiné možnosti financování a často také odlišnou klientelu sociálních služeb), bylo důležité ukázat, že se tento model v sociálních službách prakticky a úspěšně využívá. Psychodiagnostics for preschool age: Vienna developmental test

Při volbě tématu pro rigorózní práci jsem vycházela ze své diplomové práce zaměřené na oblast dětské psychodiagnostiky. V mém rozhodnutí mne podpořil mimo jiné i fakt, že diplomová práce byla v roce oceněna 2004 cenou pana profesora Matějčka za nejlepší diplomovou práci v oboru dětské psychologie. Práci jsem se tedy rozhodla rozšířit a doplnit. Řídila jsem se při tom jistě oprávněnými výtkami, které považovaly diplomovou práci za příliš praktickou, bez teoretického ukotvení. V rigorózní práci bylo použito množství cizojazyčných, převážně anglicky psaných pramenů, které jsem měla možnost čerpat především z Národní knihovny v Londýně. Text byl tak doplněn o cenné informace týkající se předškolního věku i diagnostiky v tomto období. Kromě metod používaných v anglicky a německy mluvících zemích jsem se snažila doplnit i spektrum diagnostických nástrojů pro předškolní věk používaných v českých zemích. Často se zde pak nabízely úvahy nakolik historický a kulturní vývoj v té dané zemi ovlivňuje úroveň vývoje dětí a potažmo vývojovou psychodiagnostiku. Jedním z důvodů proč jsem se pustila do převodu diagnostické metody z cizího jazykového prostředí do našich podmínek, byla možnost se tohoto převodu účastnit od samotných počátků.
