The paper presents and compares different types of resistance in achieving strategic objectives, particularly in terms of post-conflict democratic order of the country. The central premise of this thesis is that nonviolent campaigns bring a more fertile ground for developing a democratic regime opposed to their violent counterparts. The analyzed object in this paper is the Arab Spring in Egypt, specifically the course and the outcome of this non-violent revolution of 2011. Maczáková, Lenka ; Nekolová, Markéta (advisor) ; Angelovská, Olga (referee)
The main topic of this paper is retraining as one of tools of unemployment solution and evaluation of effectivity of this instrument with regional extent at Decin county. The efficiency is surveyed as a linear relation between the skill-wise orientation of the training course and ability to gain a new job of the training attendants. The purpose of this analysis is to evaluate the most effective types of retraining in the district, the time interval of deleting of the job applicant from the register included. As a part of this work is evaluation of quality of the retraining course provided by its attendants and as well as their judgement of contribution of this program for following career development. I have used relevant data from information system of the Labour office, private files of the retraining attendants and questionaries from addressed respondents. Retraing is here considered not only bare remedy of the Active Labour Market Policy, but as well as one of significant elements of whole-life education. From this aspect retraining is understood as a tool of unemployment solution and supporting cultivation of human potential, not to say of human capital development. Via this theory and the theory of preferences the relation between level of human capital and the measure of participation on...

Categories language and its future implementation is an interesting view of the Danish
Haušildová, Kateřina ; Humpál, Martin (advisor) ; Gammelgaard, Karen (referee) ; Štajnerová, Petra (referee)
The aim of this dissertation is to give an overall picture of the category future and its language realization in the Scandinavian languages. In the first part of the thesis, the category is described from a philosophical point ofview. With support in one oftwo most int1uential theories on metaphysics oftime, the dynamic A-theory, I suggest an intuitively plausible and linguistically relevant modelof time which as opposite to the traditional time line is able to account for the striking temporal asymmetry known from several European and non-European languages. The usual time line has been replaced by branching future with branches representing potential future courses of events, of which some are more probable than others. On the basis of this model, future constructions in Danish, Norwegian and Swedish which are the language s ofthe so called 'futureless area' (Dahl 2000) are described. In the second part of the study, the inventory of the future markers in the three language s is discussed systematically according to their grammaticalization source dornains (modality, motion verbs and aspect). I describe the three central types of future markers in the Scandinavian languages, i.e. modal verb constructions (vil and skal in Danish, ska in Swedish), the de-venitive construction with kommer til at (Danish),...

Immunogenetic studies on autoimmune diabetes mellitus
Kološtová, Katarína ; Černá, Marie (advisor) ; Mateička, František (referee) ; Štechová, Kateřina (referee)
Immunogenetic studies on autoimmune diabetes. Aims of the study: The study has to characterize the genetic background of patients with different types of diabetes mellitus (T1D in children, T1D in adults, LADA, T2D, MODY). The relationship of the diabetes associated HLA-DRB1*04 and NFKB1 genes to the disease course was proved further in the functional studies of the mRNA gene expression. Patients were divided into the tested subgroups in relation to the HLA class II, NFKB1, and NFKBIA genotypes and disease type (T1DM in children, T1DM in adults, and LADA). Results and Conclusion: According to our findings we can conclude that the progression of the diabetes in T1D adults, T1D children and LADA is strongly influenced by different immunogenetic background modifying the ethiopathogenesis of diabetes in the above described groups. Our results offer new possibilities for the population risk testing and may be that far used in the future for better diagnostics of the diabetic's adults.
