Health and social situacion of Women exposed to Domestic Abuse.

Domestic violence involving women in relationships is no longer a private issue. Resolving this problem of domestic violence has spread from private non-profit organizations to state institutions. In 2006 a law for protection against domestic violence was passed and it also gives authorities a right to move a violent person out of their house. Raising awareness has become a priority for regional education of the public and media campaigns. Besides policemen, it' s also doctors, the first professionals, who can be asked for help by victims. These doctors can recognize domestic violence by visible injuries or be the symptoms evident from maltreatment. The target of this essay was to see the approach of doctors to women effected by domestic violence in the Kromeriz region and to find how well-informed they are about the help to these women in interdisciplinary teams. The theoretical part investigates the characteristics of intimate partner violence and its impact on health and social situation of abused women. It also describes the possibilities of help for victims, legislative arrangements and also the importance of doctors work in inter-regional cooperation. The practical part contains the analyses of quantitative research done by a request method by questionnaire technique, that was filled in by chosen doctors in the Kromeriz region. From this investigation follow that almost three quarters of respondents were asked by abused women but less than half of them cooperates with organizations intended to help victims of domestic violence. The enlightenment of the public is seen by doctors as necessary but underestimated. This also demonstrated the connection with a situation that the education of the public is not done almost in two thirds of doctors offices. This essay can be used to raise awareness of the general and especially the specialized public by educational seminars for doctors, nurses and can be published in special news letters and brochures.

Barriers to the Development of Wind Energy Use in the Czech Republic

The development of the wind energy exploitation is a sum of processes which are subject to variety of heterogeneous factors. The nature and the leverage power of those factors vary and develop over time. Each regional or national location can be characterized by variety of factors, which are specific for respective locations. The wind energy development in the Czech Republic is influenced by number of barriers which restrain or slow down further progress. These barriers stem from environmental, economical, social and institutional disposition/nature of respective technologies. This thesis at first, based on available qualitative and quantitative data, describes and analyzes the situation and development of the wind energy exploitation. Specifics of the wind energy are placed in the context of selected European countries where factors and barriers influencing the development is described. The theme is regarded with spatio-temporal distribution of a "new technology". The thesis goes on focusing on identification of barriers that have impact on the wind energy development in the Czech Republic. Výstavy a veletrhy zaznamenávají v celosvětovém měřítku nepřetržitý růst. Představují prostředek, díky kterému dochází ke shromažďování lidí podobných či stejných zájmů na jednom určitém místě v předem vymezeném časovém prostoru. Představují osvědčený nástroj marketingové komunikace, který v souvislosti s okolním dynamickým, technologickým a technickým rozvojem bude v rámci ostatních nástrojů stále více v centru pozornosti. Cílem práce je provedení analýzy výstav a veletrhů z hlediska marketingových komunikací a možnosti jejich využití do budoucnosti. Praktická část je zaměřena na aplikaci teoretických znalostí na konkrétním příkladě společnosti Výstaviště v Lysé nad Labem. Záměrem tohoto úseku je zhodnocení výstaviště v Lysé nad Labem jako možného prostředku prezentace podnikatelů v regionu. Hlavním přínosem této bakalářské práce by mělo být zhodnocení výstav a veletrhů jako možného nástroje marketingových komunikací, analýza současné situace ve výstavnictví a zhodnocení výstaviště v Lysé nad Labem.

Czech Radio local broadcasting analysis : with special regard in broadcasting for specific demographic structure of prague Citizen

This dissertation is aimed at a local broadcasting of Czech Radio (ČRo). Special emphasis is on station Czech Radio - Regina (ČRo - Regina), that broadcasts for capital city Prague. The first part of this dissertation is briefly about a local broadcasting history of Czech Radio and its legislative frame. Next part is focused on change of program schneme in Czech Radio - Regina in 2006. The second part is as well about listening rating in 2006, with one year distance. The chapter about reasons and tools for change is not missing. The authoress is evaluating research in radio audience preferences in Prague in the practical part of the dissertation. Pain after spinal column neurosurgery

The Bachelor paper deals with pain after spinal column surgery, which is typical in postoperative period. The theoretical part covers the general definition of the pain. The following chapter touches the most common operations and disorders in the spinal column neurosurgery. Then the description of postoperative pain follows. The final part of the paper is dedicated to the organisation of medication of the postoperative pain and to the importance of a nurse during the recovery period. The experiential part of the paper includes an anonymous survey carried out in the neurosurgery wards of The Region Hospital Pardubice. The survey focuses on the level of medication and the specifications of the postoperative pain in neurosurgery.

Human trafficking in Russia in European and international context

The diploma thesis focuses on the description of human trafficking in Russia and countries of destination in Europe. Russian Federation is a diverse state with a widely developed organized crime. Trafficking in human beings is described in the context of modernization of organized crime in Russia. Trafficking is described in the context of other criminal activities in Russia and Europe too. Russia is simultaneously country of destination, source and transit. I focused mainly on the international trafficking in women for forced prostitution. Ways of fight on human trafficking I describe from the perspective of one of the most important destination areas, namely the EU. I is also aware of the specifics of certain territories of surveyed regions (Baltic, Kaliningrad, Belarus, Scandinavia, etc.) In conclusion, there are also outlined ways to combat this type of organized crime. It is also aware of the problems that the fight against trafficking is complicated by. Related recommendations are included in the conclusion of my work.

Subsidiary Processes Management in company Odenwald CZ s.r.o.

The thesis is focused on the range of subsidiary processes with the aplication to the situation of the factual company from the small and middle enterprises segment. The objective of this thesis is to provide the basis for making decisions within the system and cost optimalisation of subsidiary processes in this company. In the theoretical part is explained the processionary management fundamental and processes definition regarding to their subjects, holders, aims, inputs and outputs. In terms of subjects is further clarified the principle of dividing main and subsidiary processes. Their specifics are defined and also the reasons for their separating. There is qualified the posibillity of subsidiary processes detaching and the possibility of their supporting by external providers. In the following part the thesis records conception of subsidiary processes complex resourcing by integrated supplier -- the conception of facility management. In the practically part are defined the processes in company Odenwald CZ s.r.o. They are individualized through the use of processes analyze and subsequently are proposed the ways of their optimalisation. The suggested ways are reviewed by means of benchmarking with solutions exercised by the other companies in the region.

Central European policy with regard to the activities of the Visegrad Group

Ve své rigorózní práci se pokouším o zamyšlení nad minulou, současnou i budoucí podobou středoevropského regionu. Zajímala mne jeho specifika, svébytné zájmy a existence středoevropské politiky, zda je vůbec nosná a potřebná. Rozbor zmíněné tématiky s cílem nalézt a pojmenovat shodné rysy, společné pro všechny státy, existující ve středoevropské oblasti, provádím na základě zhodnocení období počínajícího debatou o fenoménu střední Evropy v disidentském prostředí v 80. letech XX. století, přes dobu politického formování po roce 1989 až do současnosti. Svoji analýzu chci především zaměřit na československý respektive český postoj ke středoevropské rovině spolupráce. Na základě pozdější evaluace dosavadního středoevropského vývoje a sedmnácti let praktických zkušeností se pokusím v závěru své studie nastínit pravděpodobný průběh dění v "srdci Evropy" a pojmenovat výzvy před kterými bude možná stát jak česká politická reprezentace, tak i její případní zahraniční partneři, kteří v tomto regionu aktivně působí. Ve svém textu kladu hlavní důraz na český postoj k regionální spolupráci, jeho ideový základ, plně si uvědomuji i nezbytnost zhodnotit i základní přístupy a ambice sousedních zemí, které jsou neméně důležitými aktéry a přímo se podílejí na utváření výsledné podoby vzájemné kooperace a vztahů.
