Zkoumaný vzorek tvoří pacienti Neurochirurgického oddělení Pardubické krajské nemocnice. The Bachelor paper deals with pain after spinal column surgery, which is typical in postoperative period. The theoretical part covers the general definition of the pain. The following chapter touches the most common operations and disorders in the spinal column neurosurgery. Then the description of postoperative pain follows. The final part of the paper is dedicated to the organisation of medication of the postoperative pain and to the importance of a nurse during the recovery period. The experiential part of the paper includes an anonymous survey carried out in the neurosurgery wards of The Region Hospital Pardubice. The survey focuses on the level of medication and the specifications of the postoperative pain in neurosurgery.
