The theoretical part deals with the main concepts such as communication, communication disability and stuttering. The concepts are further elaborated concerning symptoms, occurrence, etiology, types, prevention and therapy. The practical part of the thesis was implemented on the ground of quantitative research. The response rate to questionnaires was fifty responders. All responders were women with teaching experience in nursery schools and kindergartens. Symbol and architecture
Richter, Jan ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor) ; Matějů, Martin (referee)
The thesis attempts to define and capture the relation of symbol and architecture, which is taken into account in two main thematic areas. The first area deals with the issue of symbol, which is presented on the basis of classification of symbols in two types - progressively restitutive and regressively reductive - as it was proposed by professor Borecký in the Czech culturology studies. In line with the culturological interdisciplinarity, understanding symbol is showed from different points of view adopted by various humanities such as philosophy, psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology or religious studies. The examples of concepts of symbol are taken from prominent scholars of these domains, focused especially on S. Freud, C. G. Jung, E. Cassirer, P. Ricoeur, C. Geerz or M. Eliade. The second part of the thesis is concerned in symbolic conception of the world and its architectonic representation. Understanding phenomena of reality reflects in founding places and their development into significant space for human existence by architectonic representations of symbolic meanings. The architecture is presented here as amalgamation of architectural craft with symbolic contents. Especially the ideas of phenomenologically oriented authors, such as Ch. Norberg-Schulz, D. Veselý and others, are taken into...

The practical application constitutes then of a case study which proves the influence of New Labour on the negotiating process and the achieved results on concrete cases regarding the membership of the Republic of South Africa in the Lome Convention and regarding the mutual Trade, Development and Co-operation Agreement

Leadership style of nurse managers from the viewpoint of regular nurses.
BRILOVÁ, Marie
The most common techniques used in the nursing process include the inspiration of both the nursing team and its individual members and influencing the thinking and behaviour of the individual members of the nursing team for the purpose of affecting the outcome and success of the team as a whole. One of the key elements influencing the others is the manager?s leadership style. The first objective of this Bachelor?s thesis was to determine the leadership style mostly commonly used by nurse managers. In order to assess the leadership style of nurse managers, a managerial grid was used. H1 was determined as: Nurse managers mostly use the ?team management? style. The second objective was to determine whether regular nurses are considered to be partners of their respective nurse managers. In order to assess the relationship between regular nurses and nurse manager, five statement describing their relationship (cooperation, personal and work space, work skills, goals and human relations, respect) were selected. H2 was determined as: Regular nurses consider the relationship with the nurse manager to be a ?partnership?. The first part of the Bachelor´s thesis is dedicated to the theoretical knowledge in the area of leadership and management, classification of leadership styles and their use within the system of leadership and provision of the nursing care. The empirical part of the Bachelor?s thesis was drafted using a quantitative research method. In order to obtain the necessary data and information, a questionnaire designed for regular nurses was used. The research survey was conducted at Nemocnice Rudolfa a Stefanie Benešov, a.s., Hospital of the Central Bohemia Region. The survey was conducted at a total of 21 inpatient department centres. A total of 190 questionnaires were distributed. The return rate was 92%. Therefore, 175 questionnaires were processed. The research survey revealed that the leadership style most commonly used by nurse managers with respect to regular nurses is the ?middle way?, with an average result of 4.46, closely followed by the ?team management?, with an average result of 4.44. The expected H1 was not confirmed. The relationship between nurse managers and regular nurses characterised as ?partnership? was supported by affirmative answers with respect to the five selected statements in 85% of the cases. The expected H2 was confirmed. In practice, it is possible to build on the most commonly used leadership styles to have been identified. Based on the evaluated leadership styles, nurse managers may be trained in leadership techniques, development of individual managerial activities and their practical application. Future managers may then be selected in a consistent manner, meticulously prepared for the managerial position and taught managerial skills.

Bibliographical identification Title of Bachelor work: Degree of excerise specificity in winter preparation period in football Place of work: UK FTVS Author: Jakub Šlitr Field of study: Physical education and sport Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Defence year: 2012 Generalization: In this work we will try to determine the specificity of peace exercise in the winter pre-season football. The aim is to analyze pre-winter season in football in terms of degree of specificity in the development of fitness abilities. The data collection method to use direct observation, as when the player is attending the winter pre-season and each training unit to record a pre-prepared sheet. Statistical relative expression level of specificity of training in preparation discover whether the conditional ability to develop more specific or nonspecific manner at the regional championship adult football players. How does school contribute to development of pupils communication skills?
Buďárková, Zuzana ; Mojžíšová, Jarmila (advisor) ; Nováková, Daniela (referee)
Communicative competences of pupils are a very substantial part of common knowledge. This work is based on a research, the purpose of which was to find out to what extent various school levels contribute to the development of communicative competences. The theoretical part deals above all with individual types of communication and with speech development (ontogenesis, as well as phylogenesis). The practical part is formed by a research report; the research included the analysis of teaching materials, observation of teaching process and distribution of questionnaires - all respondents were teachers at schools where the research was made, that means two kindergartens and two basic schools. The research showed that all school levels do to some extent contribute to the development of pupils' communicative skills; whereas each level focuses on the skills which are appropriate for the pupils' age and abilities. Key words: Communication, communicative skills, the ontogenesis of language, pre-school education, elementary education, educational materials, observation, questionnaire.

Title: Analysis of training program in the Czech snowboardcross representation Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to describe an annual training cycle of the Czech snowboardcross representation. Sub-objective is to analyze the individual periods of characteristic sport's preparation. Methods: In our work we used the method of involved observation, analysis, survey, interview with the instructions and informal interview. During the observation of competitor's behavior in their training units we used the method of involved observation. In the parsing of each training cycle we applicated the method of analysis. To supplement the data and to clarify the interpretation obtained by involved observation we used the method of the survey and informal interview. Results: We've found, that trainers and implamation team use for divide snowboardcross praparation nine parts of specific period. In a "dry", summer praparation they focused on developing of all physical abilities and during the preparation on snow, they focus on specific skills training, which is needed to show the maximum performance, technical and psychological praperation. Analýza invazivní schopnosti a infekčního potenciálu nově popsaných druhů borelie z komplexu \kur{Borrelia burgdorferi} sensu lato, \kur{B. americana} a \kur{B. carolinensis} na laboratoním modelu infikovaných savců
ŠOLCOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the study was to analyze the infectious potential of the newly described species, B. americana and B. carolinensis, studied on the laboratory model mammals mice. Our goal was to analyze and compare the vectorial capacity of two different tick vectors, Amblyomma americanum and Ixodes ricinus, in acquiring and transmition of both spirochete species to the host. The results of this study confirmed that ticks A. americanum and I. ricinus are capable to maintain and transmit B. americana and B.carolinensis.We confirmed that both analysed spirochete species, B. carolinensis and B. americana, showed the potential to develop the disease in laboratory model mammal, which indirectly support the fact that both spirochete species might be concidered as the risk factors in the area where they are distributed. Our results shows that A. americanum is able to transmit both spirochete species, which increases that risk of acquiring the Lyme disease to human population in the area of distribution of A. americanum
