Oils for combustion engines
Dzurenda, Ján ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with information search of the current state of knowledge in the field of lubrication of combustion motors, i.e. lubrication systems and oils for combustion motors. The introduction of work focuses on the issue of lubrication systems, theirs partitions by methods of lubrication and description of the main parts of the lubrication system. Next part is focused on the oils of motors. In this part is referred to division of motor oils, requirements for motor oils and characteristics of motor oils. An Empirical Comparison of Commercial Data Mining Tools
Faruzel, Petr ; Berka, Petr (advisor) ; Máša, Petr (referee)
The presented work "An Empirical Comparison of Commercial Data Mining Tools" deals with data mining tools from world's leading software providers of statistical solutions. The aim of this work is to compare commercial packages IBM SPSS Modeler and SAS Enterprise Miner in terms of their specification and utility considering a chosen set of evaluation criteria. I would like to achieve the appointed goal by a detailed analysis of selected features of the surveyed software packages as well as by their application on real data. The comparison is founded on 29 component criteria which reflect user's requirements regarding functionality, usability and flexibility of the system. The pivotal part of the comparative process is based on an application of the surveyed data mining tools on data concerning meningoencephalitis. Results predestinate evaluation of their performance while analyzing small and large data. Quality of developed data models and duration of their derivation are stated in reference to the use of six comparable data mining techniques for classification. Small data more likely comply with IBM SPSS Modeler. Although it produces slightly less accurate models, their development times are much shorter. Increasing the amount of data changes the situation in favor of competition. SAS Enterprise Miner manages better results while analyzing large data. Considerably more accurate models are accompanied by slightly shorter times of their development. Functionality of the surveyed data mining tools is comparable, whereas their usability and flexibility differentiate. IBM SPSS Modeler offers apparently better usability and learnability. Users of SAS Enterprise Miner have a slightly more flexible data mining tool at hand.

Perception of Computer Mediated Representations of Space
Dvořák, Petr ; Koman, Milan (advisor) ; Hošpesová, Alena (referee) ; Titzl, Boris (referee)
There was and is written a big amount of literatuře with the topič of three-dimensional imagery, this literatuře afflicts almost all areas connected with this problematic. But just a few places are given to the possibility ofusing information technology for development of three-dimensional imagery. Simultaneously the children grow into the world of computers and we can not neglect this fact. Children approach to computers with a quite commonplace and without fear (in contrast to adults). They are moving in virtual environments, which simulate a real world more and more punctually and also with its physical rules. Every of these experiences can influence their three-dimensional imagery. Also the ability of transformation of the surrounding three-dimensional world into the picture-two- dimensional form (and of course contrariwise) - it closely bears on the three-dimensional imagination. Mainly the ability to read the planar pictures and to use the gained information in the creation of three- dimensional conceptions. This ability is at school knowingly evolved, for example through channelling the body in free parallel projection. Emphasis insists on the work with real models and their pictures. In my work I try to refer to the advantages and crags of using computer programmes, which simulate to us real models...

Operating costs of public sector
Kučerová, Petra ; Sedmihradská, Lucie (advisor) ; Dufek, Luboš (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the amount of operating costs which is spent on the working of the organizations in public sector in the Czech Republic and to access the possibilities of saving the costs as impact of improving their procurement system of purchasing energy commodities, especially gas and electricity. Lifestyle nurses from selected social determinants of health (in the diet, physical activity, stress managament, addictions)
MAŠKOVÁ, Nikola
Healthy lifestyle is one of the most important factors the quality of our health depends on. Lifestyle means our eating habits, exercise regimen, the way we face stress, and the amount of toxic substances, alcohol, cigarettes or drugs we voluntarily take in. The main aim of the research was to survey the lifestyle of nurses according to selected social health determinants with the focus on alimentation, sport activities, stress management and addictive drug abuse. In accordance with the research subject the following objectives were established. The first objective was to determine the nutritional intake of nurses. The second objective was to find out the frequency of addictive substances use. The third goal was to assess symptoms of depression in nurses. The fourth goal was to map the level of physical activity in nurses. Based on these goals nine hypotheses were established. H1 Nurses´ energy intake is excessive compared to the reference values set by the PRI EU. H2 Nurses lipid intake is excessive compared to the reference values set by the PRI EU. H3 Nurses´ carbohydrate intake is excessive compared to the reference values set by the PRI EU. Nurses´ fibre intake is excessive compared to the reference values set by the PRI EU. H5 Nurses comply with the advisable fluid intake according to the reference values set by the PRI EU. H6 Nurses´ alcohol consumption is moderate (0-10 units of alcohol per week). H7 Nurses are moderate smokers, smoking 1-9 cigarettes a day. H8 Nurses show depression symptoms in the depression screening carried out with the Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale. H9 Physical activity of nurses is sufficient. The quantitative survey was conducted by interviewing, using the questionnaire technique. The research respondents were nurses in the Strakonice Hospital, a.s. Nutritional intake was assessed using the NUTRIDAN program and recommended doses were specified in the European Union's reference doses in the form of the PRI EU. The level of physical activity and the frequency of addictive substance use were assessed using the NUTRIFIA program. The objectives of the thesis were met, hypotheses H1, H2, H5, H6 were confirmed and hypothesis H3, H4, H7, H8 and H9 were disproved. The results will be offered to the Strakonice Hospital, a.s. in the form of educational materials for nurses in order to improve nurses´ healthy lifestyle.

Real amount of flat costs of gainfully employed persons
MAKOVÁ, Andrea
This Diploma thesis called ``Real amount of flat costs of gainfully employed persons`` focuses on the amount of flat costs, the possibilities of cost claims and their advantages. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse the differences between the amounts of income tax of a physical entity by calculating with flat costs (costs by percentage of income) and by calculating with real costs (costs of achievement, assurance and maintenance of taxable incomes). The theoretical part describes the Act No. 586/1992 Coll. on Income taxes, especially the terms and definitions used in this Act. Next part of this thesis refers to the development of flat costs and conditions of cost claims. The final part of this thesis consists of the Slovak and the Austrian version of tax legislation regarding flat costs. The practical part of this thesis contains my analysis of the development of collection of income tax of physical entities within the Czech Republic. I have focused primarily on South Bohemia and have compared the number of taxable persons and the extent of flat costs usage. Concrete examples are stated at the end of this part.
