User Interface Using WWW for Photo Image Analysis
Balcárek, Lukáš ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the user interface for machine quality assessment of the technical groups of photos. This work is written about photos, graphics editors and their evaluation. The practical part is focused on the design and creation of application with web user interface, which evaluates and compares the quality of photos. Finally is this created application with its user interface tested by users, its benefits and opportunities for further expansion are evaluated.
Switches for FTTx - deployment in networks with IPTV
Horváth, Tomáš ; Reichert, Pavel (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this paper was to acknowledge ourselves with the switches which can be used in the networks based on FTTx. The first chapter deals with the IPTV service, its advantages, disadvantages and provided services. In the following chapter, optical fibres and the possibilities of their termination are discussed - FTTH, FTTC, FTTB, FTTO, FTTP and FTTN. The next part involves the methods of broadcasting and more detailed analysis of multicast addresses including defined range and multicast distributional trees. The conclusion of the theoretical analysis of this paper is formed by the explanation of all 3 versions of the IGMP record and the division of switchers through the signals transmitted. In the practical part, the suggestion of testing these switchers is carried out. The first method represents testing through one video file in various resolutions. Another possibility of testing is based on the first method, nevertheless, with the difference that the testing is done in two streams and each one of them has a different data flow. The purpose of the last testing is to demonstrate the fact that the video flow is transmitted through multicast, not every single flow from a server to a client separately. The connection between switchers was reduced to 10 Mb/s and the chosen video file runs at these average transmission data.
Image Interpolation
Václavík, Jan ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the comparison of different interpolation methods. And their use on different grey scaled 2D images. The main part is dealing with linear, quadratic and cubic method and their qualitative evaluation for multiple resizing of image resolution. The analysis is resolved in computing system Matlab.
Construction of Equatorial Fork Mount
Tůma, Jiří ; Matějka, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of equatorial fork mount for astronomical telescope. The issue of space object watching equipment is deeply analysed. The enclosures of analysis are used in design project. Important aspects are accuracy of motion and high resolution of mount. These parameters are compared with series manufactured equatorial mounts.
Stabilization of image sequence without decrement of its resolution
Otruba, Vítězslav ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The shake that affects the video camera during taking of the footage degrades the level of the viewer experience. This article contains the design of the method that stabilizes the stored footage and fills in the gaps in the separate frames, so the picture resolution remains the same after the process.
The influence of MDAC resolution on basic blocks of pipelined AD converter
Kledrowetz, Vilém ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Háze, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the influence of MDAC (multiplying DAC) resolution on basic blocks of pipelined AD converter. The MDAC was designed with 1,5 and 2,5 bits resolution structure using switched capacitor technique (SC) utilizing CMOS 0,7 m technology. Basic stages of this pipelined ADC are analyzed and compared.
VGA image generation with microcontroller
Polášek, Jan ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is concerned with generating image in VGA format using microcontroller. It’s aimed at microcontrollers series AVR from producer Atmel. Project contains VGA interface description, solves its connection to microcontroller’s output ports, further it contains connection diagram of image generation device with microcontroller Atmel ATmega324P, that I constructed during work on this project.. In project are analyzed fundamentals of image generating in microcontroller, synchronization of image using microcontroller’s internal counter, creating of simple graphic images and text and principles of generating colour images. Generation of text is analyzed in details, including source code for microcontroller. The result of this bachelor‘s thesis is functional image generator device.
Camera system selection for print quality checking
Kmec, Bartolomej ; Hejč, Tomáš (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s theme deals with possibility checking of quality in pad printing. Pad printing has such solution that print is transferred from cliché on printing surface by silicone pad. Quality of finish result depends on a large number of factors which are analyzed in the thesis. In the bachelor’s thesis is described way of monitoring of printing quality online with the cameras help on real samples.
Technical workflows for maximum visual video quality
Šodek, Michal ; Horný, Stanislav (advisor) ; Seko, Martin (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to explore technological aspects of video's operation and to focus on international as well as historical reasons for it's inner structure. Practical part deals with technical process for creating the best visual quality possile. The thesis can be useful for cameramen during production and also for editors in postproduction and color correction so it helps both to create more attractive visual work.
Microscopy - Point Spread Function, Focus, Resolution
NÁHLÍK, Tomáš
The aim of this thesis was to design new algorithms for processing image data from microscopes and demonstration of the possibilities of their use on standard samples (latex particles of different diameter). Results were used for the analysis of real objects inside the living mammalian cell. For the design of these algorithms was necessary to first understand how the image in the microscope is build, including a variety of lens aberrations. It was necessary to start with simulations of ideal case displaying one point (simulation PSF). Images of Airy discs in the plane of focus, or simulations using the ENZ theory. Available ENZ simulations provide only a few sections of different focal planes. It was necessary to adjust them to a usable form for generating a full 3D view. Using these algorithms, it was examined the behavior of the basic lens aberrations, and the behavior of two particles (objects) at different distances from each other. At the conclusion of these observations, it was necessary to redefine the terms Focus and resolution. Furthermore, the definitions have been introduced for discriminability and distinguishability of objects in an image. Thanks to the new definitions and new viewing (information entropy) to challenge the discriminability/distinguishability problem of objects in the image was possible to design and develop algorithms for image processing that enable to detect objects below the Abbe resolution condition using standard optical bright field microscopy. It has been found experimentally that the limiting factor for resolution using this method is the size and resolution of the camera chip. When using a chip with a higher density of points, we can achieve better results (detection of smaller objects) using the same algorithms.
